Dave Hubbard rated it 5/5: We used Mr. Rooter to fix a plumbing issue in our kitchen sink. Tim was professional, answered our questions clearly during the up-front estimate to help us make a decision on the right solution to our problem, including rebuilding the under-sink plumbing to avoid future issues.

When performing the work, Tim explained he was doing clearly, worked quickly and cleaned up after the work was done. He even showed me how to be able to perform a cleanout in case of repeat clogs in the future.

  • Kaitlyn Jayne rated it 5/5: My bathtub was backed up with sewage in my apartment. Scottie from Mr. Rooters was over here asap to fix it after I alerted my property management that I was concerned about it over flowing as it had filled up fast in a matter of a couple hours! He was friendly, polite and efficient! He cleared the clog and even cleaned out the tub for me that had been full of gross water and debris! Thank you so much for your help Scottie!
  • Eryn Thorne rated it 5/5: We have used Mr Rooter for 6 years and every single time they are amazing. Their plumbers are knowledgeable and friendly. They always explain what is wrong so I can learn as a new homeowner. They always end up squeezing us in that day or the next. I would highly recommend this company!
  • Andy Olds rated it 5/5: Mr. Rooter was fantastic and a great help recently. Their team answered the phone quickly on a Saturday, were super professional and easy to work with and had a drain tech out on Sunday to get our clogged drains cleared. Justice arrived at our house on time, explained everything clearly, and did a great job inside our space. He made sure everything was fixed and was a pleasure to work with. Start to finish a great experience.

  • Olga K. rated it 2/5: Had an issue in one of my bathrooms. Called the company in the evening to schedule appointment. They said next morning one of the dispatchers would call back to put me on their schedule. She did call back but had the worst attitude I've ever experienced from a business. From the get-go her tone was irritated, dismissive, aggressive and punitive, talking to me like I was a huge nuisance or was asking for a charity. The service that I booked was a $250 service to just investigate the issue, definitely not a charity.
The dispatcher asked when I needed the service done and if I'd be home that day. I explained that I'd be home after 8.30 a.m. all day. She snapped back saying then I need to call back "when I know when I'm available." I repeated to her that I knew for a fact that I'd be home after 8.30 a.m. (needed to drop my kid at daycare).
I never do that, but I couldn't handle it so I told her I didn't appreciate her tone and approach, and if they're not interested in new customers, they could just have told me. She snapped back saying "no, I am just trying to understand when you're available". I repeated to her that I was available any time after 8.30. She snapped back saying "you need to call back when you're available." I thanked her and was planning to never call them back. Then exactly at 8.30 she called back saying she could send the technician out. I agreed because I desperately needed that service and other companies were booked out several weeks.
The technician came out fairly quickly and was very friendly and polite, but was unable to even identify the cause of the issue, not to mention resolve it.
So in summary, what I was left with after dealing with this company was a $250 loss, spoiled mood from aggressiveness of the dispatcher and, most importantly, no resolution to my issue.

  • D Luiz rated it 5/5: I had a major plumbing issue where the contractor who poured my driveway, failed to reinstall the clean out properly and managed to get dirt and debris compacted into the sewer main. Out came Mark and Ricky from Henco. Man, they crushed it! I've used Henco in the past on other jobs, so I knew what to expect. But these two blew it out. Professional, courteous, communicative and worked as long as it took to get my home functioning again. Mark explained every step of the process, showed me the tools he was using and why, showed me all the scope images and wrote a great report so that I can go after the contractor that did the poor work on my driveway. Ricky was super polite, did a solid job and was easy to chat with. It was hands down the best plumbing experience I've had. And I've had nothing but good experiences with Henco.
  • Melissae Stuart rated it 5/5: Everyone at Henco, from the techs to the office staff, made replacing all of the plumbing at my old house an enjoyable experience. Nolan showed me what was going on and talked me through options to fix it. Danny, Matt, Mike, and Micah did an amazing job with the repipe work — they were very thoughtful about where they opened walls and put holes in the floor to minimize repair work afterward. They also explained what they were doing each day, showed me how all the new plumbing worked, coordinated getting the sewer line updated at the same time, and cleaned their way out of the house. The sewer team was wonderful too — on time, responsive, and speedy work.
  • Erin Creed rated it 5/5: Excellent service! We got a same day appointment for a drain cleaning, and were able to schedule a re-pipe consultation on my next available day off. At that appointment, absolutely everything was checked to see if a full re-pipe was necessary. Unfortunately, it is, but I appreciate the time and effort put forth to do absolutely everything to ensure that we explored every option available. We are on the books for our re-pipe early next week, and look forward to working with the folks at Henco in the future for any of our plumbing needs!
  • Juan Pinedo rated it 3/5: My experience with Henco was both good and bad unfortunately which is why I am leaving 3 stars.

I needed my galvanized steel water pipes replaced, Henco was the best rated company I found and received a quote from Henco with a decent price compared to the 5 quotes I received for the job. It involved having to bore instead of dig the ground out completely. I was all for it.

I will start with the positives, they worked fast, had a decent price, and were for the most part easy to work with. I was happy with the work until the job was almost complete, when I received the quote I was told that they would have to cut out some drywall but would be able to put it back and it would be on me to do the patching and paint, I was good with that.

Once the job was all done, everything worked great in regards to our water. The new pex pipes worked amazing. However they left our water main exposed due to needing an inspection from the city, the inspection came and went and they never back filled it. Well the freezing temps came and even though I tried to cover and insulate it till they could backfill it still froze and the main burst which resulted in us spending Christmas without water. That was unfortunate but they did end up filling it and didn’t charge us to fix the main that burst due to them leaving it exposed. So regardless of spending Xmas without water it was fixed so It was okay.

Another issue was that they installed our shower head super high. I’m 6 foot and even I had issue reaching it, and the way the shower faucet handle was set up we couldn’t get hot water. They came out to fix it and drop down the shower head, however within 24 hours of Henco leaving this second time, my shower handle popped out of the wall bringing tile with it. (See picture) I sent some pictures and emailed and was told that it looks like someone had pulled it out and they sent me a picture of what it looked like when they left, which was it should have been but as I had shown them it was now not as they left it. I don’t know if the guy that came did something to it that caused it to pop out when he fixed the handle because it wouldn’t move as much as it was supposed to on the Hot side. They refused to fix it. Which was a bit disappointing because why would we pull out the handle? We waited the amount of time they said we needed for caulking to set to before using it and it ended up like that anyways.

So besides spending Christmas without water due to the exposed water main, our shower faucet handle being broken and coming out of the wall and a bunch of holes from cut out drywall in our bathroom and basement that we were told when quoted they’d put back, the job was great.

I am going to give another attempt to reach out to them and see if they’ll work with us and will update my review with any new information.

I just also want to add that the water line work itself was great. It was just these after issues that were a concern.

Curtis C rated it 5/5: Although I was not present on site, the technician really did an outstanding inspection of my sewer line. Due to the layout of the plumbing, it prevented the technician from fully scoping the sewer line to the main. The ensuing video and narration really made it clear to me of what the technician performed and left me no doubt on the condition of my sewer line. 5-stars!!!

Not only were they fairly priced but they were quick to respond and quick to complete the project in a clean and professional manner. They treated and painted my 1200SQFT attic. I haven't had any issues since.

Katie Vaughan rated it 3/5: I used River City Environmental based on a recommendation and could not be more displeased with the service provided. I'm only giving 2 stars because the man who performed the service was kind. I was charged more than $500 to solely inspect a root problem; no actual work was done to help the issue. Then I was told the excavation team would be in touch. It has been 3 weeks and no one has bothered calling me – you can't even flush my toilet or use the laundry because of the overgrown roots – and today I received a charge to my credit card without even receiving an invoice. If you need a company that will respond and solve your issue quickly, go with OC drain. **UPDATE: The customer service team apologized and refunded part of the cost**

  • Kaarin Bohrnsen rated it 5/5: Everyone worked really hard on this project. They decommissioned two septic tanks and a water tank buried deep in the yard. More then expected. They ran into some issues, not their fault, but the city miss marked the lines. They cleared up the issue quickly. Very polite and friendly. Went above and beyond to clean up yard debris and even a tree I had cut down. They dirt is left smooth and flat ready for planting new grass. Over all I agree they did a great job. Thank you.
  • Tyler Foley rated it 5/5: Showed up on time and prepared. The operator was personable and quick to catch on the process and lend a hand. The operator made a suggestion that improved our process, made it safer, as well as save time! These guys are industry experts and I look forward to working with River City Environmental in the future.
  • Alinka Malinka rated it 5/5: Did an amazing striping job at my apartment property. They were very professional and quick, guys for sure know what they were doing. Been scheduling striping work only with them☺️ Thank you Again

  • Pat Dieringer rated it 1/5: I have used River City Environmental for many years on a variety of jobs. Recently, however, they decided to NOT charge my credit card for the amount that I had signed for at the end of the work at the job site. Instead of the $290.00 invoice for which I signed, they charged my credit card $1,062.15! They admitted to an error in the material cost but stuck with the increased labor charges as well as a brand new fuel surcharge that was not on the invoice I signed. I even sent the accounting department a photo I had of the tech's computer screen that was the only "invoice" they could give me. The $290.00 job ended up costing me $350.40.
To be clear, the repair work performed was fine, and very timely. Their current invoicing system and accounting department are not to be trusted. It is is bothersome to feel like this company does not value a repeat customer after so many years.

The email scheduling was prompt and simple with follow-up reminders. The initial estimate visit was timely, polite, and fast. The price was clearly stated with no extra fees, and the required work was clearly explained. The installation team was excellent. They were on time, they worked quickly and efficiently, and they were mindful of my house and kept it clean. Their equipment, truck and tools were all well organized and clean. The installer team was very friendly and polite. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction. The water heater is working great. I highly recommend them.
  • Shannon Dunn rated it 5/5: I had a simple job but one that required a plumber. They had an appointment available the following week and he arrived on time. He was very nice and did an excellent job. Five star work. I was very happy with service. I had an issue with the pricing and the company resolved and worked with me. I do recommend getting the job bid when the plumber shows up on site so there is no surprise in pricing. I will use them again.
  • Michelle Morley rated it 5/5: We have used Cornel's Plumbing for a wide range of projects. Sewer line work, a new main line installation, water heater replacement, sewer clean outs….. they have crews that are experts on everything. They are always prompt and respectful of your property. The scheduling, quoting, payment process is very easy too. Highly recommended.
  • Claire Reneau rated it 5/5: We wanted a tankless water heater and called several plumbers. Cornel’s was the only company that responded promptly and gave us a heads-up that we would also need to replace our gas line. We’re so glad we went with them because our inspector definitely would not have approved the installation otherwise! They showed up on time, removed the old water tank AND the massive supporting concrete block, which we were not expecting but so happy to see gone, and installed the gas line and tank in just a few days. The town inspector was nearly giddy with the size of our gas pipe and was impressed with the work. Everything works great and we’re happy.

One customer said the company was "prompt, professional, and reasonably priced," while another said Speedy Septic was "the best septic company in the area." The company's services include septic tank cleaning, repair, and installation.

Gale Schrepfer rated it 5/5: Jason figured out exactly what was causing our toilets, shower, etc to fail. We didn’t need the septic tank pumped. He found there was a clog and took care of that. He scoped the line from the house to our tank and showed us the grease build-up. He used a power jet to clean that line. He offered suggestions to improve our system and make clean out much easier in the future. We were very impressed with Jason. Competent, friendly and professional. We will certainly use Speedy Septic in the future and highly recommend them.

  • Brian Goodrow rated it 5/5: Speedy Septic completely turned my opinion around, we will be a customer for life.

We had them inspect our first home purchase with septic, and everything came back fine. Unfortunately we had a drain backup right after moving in. The plumbers we called couldn't find the problem and totally misdiagnosed it as multiple failures in the septic tank.

I angrily called Speedy Septic back, and they sent the two techs who inspected us with a full truck and had a project manager come by too. They were able to diagnose AND fix the issue within 15m, and taught me everything they were doing so I could handle simple clogs myself. They replaced a couple of aging parts and gave me a full maintenance cleaning. Barely charged me, which is completely reasonable considering how I made them rush out on no notice.

Speedy rules. Andrew and the other tech who's name I'm forgetting ruled. Don't trust anyone else.

  • J D rated it 5/5: When our septic system alarm sounded, indicating the pump was not operating properly, we called Speedy Septic. That was around 6PM, and the after hours technician answered right away. We determined that it was something that needed urgent attention, but was not an emergency that required an after hours service call.

The next morning by 8:20 AM, the Speedy Septic office called to let us know someone would be arriving by midday to handle the call. When the technicians arrived, they found that the pump had a loose power connection, which they fixed, rather than trying to sell me on a new pump to the tune of $1,000+.

We were very pleased with the service and professional way all of our concerns were addressed.

  • Joel Jackson rated it 5/5: Had an emergency; my sewage pump stopped working! I called, and maybe an hour later they were here! They fixed it right up! We found the previous people that installed the failed pump really messed things up. They got everything squared away nice and quick. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. Kudos to Jason and Ben!
  • Jim Frielink rated it 5/5: Ben emptied out our septic tank and flushed out the drain line. He was very thorough and explained everything about the service before he began.

Meticulous responded immediately to the request for an estimate and they were able to schedule the repair within a week or two. they were able to get us in sooner and the repair was completed by Cody today. Cody was professional, efficient and informative. We hired Meticulous in the past for some gas plumbing work. We are happy with both jobs We definitely recommend Meticulous Plumbing and will use their services again if needed.
  • Andrew Kiemen rated it 5/5: Highly recommend the folks at Meticulous Plumbing. We were having ongoing issues with water pressure and other plumbers were recommending/pushing a whole house re-plumb ($$$$) even though some of the plumbing was recently upgraded. Reached out to Meticulous and Leo came out and was able to pin point the issue. A week later, Joe came out and fixed the issue. Problem solved. If you're looking for honest and professional plumbers – these are your folks.

Because the work was minor (replace kitchen faucet), they advised there was a possibility of pulling that availability in. They were able to come out 2 days after initial contact! Joe arrived quickly with an apprentice. They were able to assess the job, provide an price, and complete the work in an hour. They were both professional, pleasant, and they left the work area clean. Top notch! I highly recommend Meticulous Plumbing.
  • Ken Meyer rated it 5/5: We asked the general contractor who recently did some work for us to recommended a plumbing company to replace a toilet. This is a job I did not want to tackle myself, since the toilet to be replaced was on the second floor. The contractor recommended Meticulous Plumbing. We had already purchased a toilet and had it ready for them. Two guys came out this morning to do the work. They were both friendly and very efficient and did a great job, making sure everything was to our satisfaction and cleaning up thoroughly. The lead plumber was Seth, he and his assistant were great to work with.
    I highly recommend Meticulous Plumbing.

Cleaned their mess, worked efficiently and once it was installed everything worked great and the radon levels fell to well below acceptable. Highly recommend.

  • Barbara Bureker rated it 5/5: We were very pleased with the work Soil Solutions did for us in decommissioning an old underground oil tank. Communication was excellent; we were kept informed of the project status every step of the way. The people who came to do the work were friendly and professional and did a nice job of cleaning things up thoroughly. We ran into some issues with contamination and Nick, our project manager worked extremely hard to help us through those issues with the least cost possible. Overall we are very pleased and would use their services again.
  • Josh Rau rated it 5/5: Used them to scan a property for decommissioned oil tanks before purchasing. The price was very reasonable, and our technician arrived on time and was friendly. He even used his equipment to help our septic inspectors try to locate an old steel septic tank they were having a hard time locating. Easy process for scheduling and billing as well. Would recommend.
  • Susan Meredith rated it 5/5: Very professional work. Radon mitigation work on a rental property for us was quick, effective, cost efficient – and coordinated with tenants in a way that delighted them as well. Easy to recommend these folks!
  • Kevin Sadler rated it 1/5: I would not recommend using this company if you are getting your sewer replaced. The subcontracted that came out to do the work completed the job but did damage to my driveway, left backfill in what use to be a garden, bent a sprinkler head, and trimmed multiple branches and then left them in my yard. Lastly, there was not a porta potty for the worker to use so I offered for them to use mine if they need to. Noone took me up on it. After the first day at my house, I let my dog out to go to the bathroom and he rolled in human feces that was in the bushes! Soil solutions was not there to provide any oversight during the actual repair. They did come and scope the sewer again after everything was done. I did appreciate Nick hearing my concerns and sending someone out to powerwash my driveway to try to get rid of the gouges they put in my driveway. Also, he got the subcontractors to come remove the backfill. All in all they got the job done but I feel in really poor form. If it was not for the subcontractors performance, I would have given soil solutions a higher rating because of their customer service and timeliness.

Lil’Stinky came in a very timely manner and helped us uncover our septic lid only to find we had a clogged intake. He loosened it, and we were flowing freely again. He answered all of our questions and said we didn’t need the tank pumped at this time which saved us a bundle. Their fee was definitely in line with a Sunday morning emergency call. I would highly recommend this company.
