The plumber told me he couldn’t get through the clog and that I would need to have an excavation done under the house to replace part of the pipe entirely at an estimated cost of $10-15k. No thanks 😊 (Also, that plumber was five hours late). I called Roto-Rooter next. They came when they said they would and were able to get through the clog. They had the tools, patience, and skills that I guess their competitor lacked. I’m SO glad I called them, and they will be my first call next time I have any plumbing issue. Thank you!

We have $2000.00 to pay them for; quite frankly not doing much. They had air scrubbers in our home for what I thought was over the top—they also removed drywall. Each time my husband and I spoke to the manager, he assured us that we wouldn't be charged an outrageous amount and that if the insurance company didn't cover, they wouldn't bill us. So we ended up with the cost to repair and put wall's back up in two bathrooms and a master bath closet. They had no integrity at all. Truthfully, I am so upset at myself for trusting and not going online and doing my due diligence. Now looking on-line, this seems like a common problem with this company.

I called three other plumbers and 1st Call was not only the best price but was the only company that could start asap. They replaced the gas line going to my home and inside my home. I have already recommended them to several people. They will be my go to from now on.

When my assigned plumber was tied up with another job, First Call put another team on my job with no delay! Brandon A. and an apprentice came and assessed the issue with my water heater. They were able to replace it immediately and had it done in roughly an hour and a half. The work was fast, efficient, and super clean. They hauled my old heater and made virtually no mess. Awesome work. Will use again!

The technician arrived within the time frame of the appointment. Again, good. The technician was professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. He efficiently repaired the problem. (The system drain was clogged). I supplied the chemicals (bleach and hot water). The technician was at my residence approximately a half hour. The repair took at most 15 minutes.
I felt the price of the repair was high , but after talking to owner , a reasonable fee was agreed to. .
Overall the company did a good job . They were quick and responsive . The technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous .

I talked to my son in law and he told me if it was just the faucet he could probably fix it but could not get away from work until the following day. He told me to ask whoever showed up if he thought it was an easy fix so my son in law could do it. Although the man that came seemed very nice he told me that it could be an easy fix or it may turn into a big problem because the pipe was so close to my brick wall and if it was done wrong they would need to break into the wall. Although he did not pressure me to have him fix it I went with what he told me and to save my son in law any headache I told him to go ahead and fix it. I went inside and not more than 10 min he knocked on the door and said it was fixed. He charged me $250. It was the day before Christmas eve so I gifted him a little bag of homemade cookies for coming within an hour . On Christmas day my son in checked the work and told me the faucet could have been purchased at lowes or home depot for $10! He was very upset because he said I was overcharged and he felt the man knew it was an easy fix and could have been nice enough to tell me. It is really sad that older people get taken advantage of. I am on a fixed income and that money could have been put to better use.

He was careful when the backed-up debris in the pipe was released as he opened the clean-out. Jimmy was courteous and did his job efficiently and well. The booking process was so fast. I called after normal business hours, but I was still able to get an appointment the following business day. They gave me a heads up of when they were arriving and the technician, Dan, arrived on time exactly as mentioned. Believe or not some OTHER companies have told me they were on the way and showed up over an hour later or not at all. And as far as the service review goes, Dan is definitely an integral part of what makes this company so great! He was very knowledgeable and professional when addressing my issue. Danny came out for us today on short notice after we were offered a cancellation time slot. He spent several hours (reasonable due to the state of the issue) on the property going through and assessing our mess. He was courteous, polite, upfront about costs, personable, informed, and kind. I've seen complaints on here about the work being pricey, but I honestly feel the quote I was given was very fair!

No one likes emergency plumbing issues, but I feel like I have a company I can trust to treat me (a young woman and first time homeowner) with the same respect as any other reasonable client. Now let's just hope their plumbing work is as good as their customer service!

He assessed the probable point of the leak; then explained in detail my options of repair. He also explained that depending on the condition of the pipes there would be different options there too. When he found exactly where the leak was he knew it had occurred because of too much water pressure. He also installed an outdoor shutoff valve which I knew was needed, but had neglected to install. I was very impressed with his knowledge; the speed in which he worked, and his courteousness. Most of all I was impressed with, and pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the cost was. I really would recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work. I know I'll use Premier Plumbing for any plumbing issue in the future.

Francisco was here exactly when promised and was highly knowledgeable and professional. I've never had a Septic system before so I am very appreciative of the time he took to show what he was doing and why. He very friendly in a professional way and extraordinarily patient in explaining to me exactly how my system works…I'm his customer for life…This is not a fun issue to have. We first started with them in our last house in Bulverde after switching from a company that was inconsistent, unresponsive, and just did not provide quality work. The difference in quality and professionalism was night and day and they helped us with many issues we had at that house (it was an older system, not installed by them). When we hired a builder for our new home in Spring Branch we were thrilled to learn that they use MJ for all of their new builds. They did a great job putting the new system in and educating us on the do’s and don’ts to keep our septic running great. Most recently we’ve had great experiences with Colton, the service tech and Catherine in the office, both were very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service!

The previous service we employed was difficult to get a hold of, inspections were haphazard at best, and explanations for malfunctions were unclear. Since switching to MJ, we have never experienced a difficulty scheduling or receiving service, our inspections are timely and thorough, and we receive clear, concise reports explaining the reason for service and what was performed. I would highly recommend them for their professional standards and quality service.

She told me they were only booking confirmed appointments. I said it would be confirmed unless I could get someone today.
I found a company that worked us into their schedule, putting us next on their list since it was an emergency. Before I could call to cancel MJs Thursday appointment, they called to say they had a cancellation for today and could come after all. I told her I’d found someone else & was going to have to cancel. She then, and only then, advised me of their cancellation fee of $75! I literally had the appointment for two hours before cancelling!
I imagine that their work is just fine, but their customer service is the worst I’ve encountered of any business in the San Antonio area in the 25 years that I’ve lived here.
If you schedule an appointment. Be sure you don’t have to cancel! They’ll be in you pocket before you hang up the phone!

In response to your response…
1. Transparent?! I was crystal clear to the woman booking the appointment that I was going to continue to try to find a company that could come out that day!
2. I was NEVER told there would be a $75 cancellation fee during my initial call. That’s a pretty high penalty for a cancelled appointment that was 2-days away and was only held for 2-hours!

Hey, Merry Christmas! If you can live with your lack of professionalism, so can I! I’m just happy that I found a better company to do business with.
