I bought two new bidet toilets (Korean made) from a home improvement store, who also offered installation. The guy they sent couldn't do it, said the parts were incompatible, etc. and said he would have someone call me later. No call ever came.

I found Mr Rooter online and filled out a request for quote. Within the hour, a rep called me and scheduled the installer for a couple of days later.

The installer (Will) arrived promptly, had no problem installing the toilets, and was delightful to talk to. He went over the features of the toilet with me and made sure all my questions were answered.

Just a great experience from top to bottom (no pun intended).

I called around but Mr. Rooter was the only place to respond fast. Chris and Sam were very friendly and immediately knew what to do. The job took several days and Sam’s communication throughout was great. He was very thorough, courteous, and professional. No one is excited about spending money on a septic system but they made the experience much better!

Not an especially good time to have a drain clog… I left a few messages on "after-hours" VM's and received a call back from Dan. He was very understanding of our situation and was honest about the scheduling, we had a service tech at our house shortly after 7AM the next morning. We also received a call to let us know the tech was on his way. Our service tech Parker, was a great representation of the company… he was polite, efficient, and had us back "online" in less than an hour. He explained everything in detail (before he started), and did a great job. Thank you!! Your team eliminated what could have been a fairly stressful weekend. Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

Luis was so great and very pleasant. He gave me several options to make sure I don't have another problem. I will not use another plumber. I highly recommend this company.

After deciding on the option that worked best for me, he immediately got his equipment and got to work. Before he left, he made sure ALL the drains were working properly. He did great work and he was super honest. He told me what it was going to cost, what he was going to do, fixed the problem, and charged me exactly what he said it was going to be. I couldn't be happier. Anytime I need plumbing help in the future, I will call Mr. Rooter and ask them to send Keith!

Ashley very patiently talked us through some troubleshooting and when we weren’t able to go any further she got Keith out to take care of us right away. Robert Reinke rated it 1/5: Sunset Septic has displayed a high level of incompetence at doing septic tank inspections! They failed my septic system for the following reason "Septic system failed water test and a new pit is needed. We recommend a whole new system as tank is nearly 40 years old." They then quoted me a new $20k septic system, I was concerned about this response and got a second opinion from another septic company. The 2nd company quickly identified that there was a piping issue and that the system COULD NOT EVEN BE TESTED without making the piping correction. The piping was corrected and the system passed with no problem. I called Sunset Septic and spoke with the receptionist and informed her of the situation and requested a refund for their in-accurate and useless septic inspection that I paid $675 for. The receptionist told me that management would call me back to discuss. However management did not even return my call to hear my concerns, they only responded by email stating "I am sorry to inform you that we will not be refunding any money to you." This shows a high level of incompetence and scamming of the customer, it is obvious they are more interested in selling $20k septic systems than meeting the actual needs of their customers. I STONGLY RECOMEND THAT ANYONE THINKING OF HIRING SUNSET SEPTIC TO DO ANYTHING RE-THINK THE THE THOUGHT AND HIRE A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!!

We waited two months for permits for a tank installation and once they got everything they waited two weeks to call me and schedule and then no showed and didn’t bother to call me. Horrible, take your business elsewhere. They do not care about customers!
Nacole Harris rated it 1/5: We purchased a home in Oct 2022 and shortly after started having plumbing issues. We have had several companies out, with a camera and a locator to find that there is an issue at the repaired cover in the back yard. There is standing water in the pipes and at the repaired cover.
I called Sunset as they were one of two companies that have done work on the home requesting them to come out under warranty to check the tank to verify or fix the issue.

Rainey argued with me stating that they do not warranty or guarantee their work. They dug up the system, pumped it, certified and inspected it. When there is clearly an issue. So they (or the other company – who is coming out UNDER WARRANTY to verify that their work was done correctly and identify the issue) did something (or failed to do something) correctly and we are having back up issues every couple of weeks.

Rainey then argued with me stating that I was lucky that my tank was still operational as it was built in the 60's. She continued to argue with me when I said that if you take care of things they will last and then tried to tell me that was incorrect.

This woman is unprofessional and the company is a joke. DO NOT USE them!! Less than a year after they touched the septic I am having issues and they refuse to come out to verify their own work under warranty – because they don't have one.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

My direct contact was Ken and he was phenomenal. He helped me with things I didn't know and the process of everything. I was always updated on the progress of things. The actual installation seemed easy for them and even had a few other contractors compliment the system before it got backfilled. If I ever build another house, A-American can be sure to expect my call again!

They also replaced one of the tank inspection plugs which had cracked in two, at no extra charge.

On top of that, they were significantly lower in price then three other companies that I had called.

I spoke with Wally and he says he called and his driver called but obviously they didn’t because there is no proof in my call log of them calling. Point is they don’t care. They don’t even try to accommodate you. They want me to wait a whole month again. Unprofessional. If there first job is 8-9am then they should make someone work 7-8 to get a job done that they didn’t get done in the first place. East fix but these guys don’t care.

I didn’t want to have to hire a plumber in the first place because I’m a serious do-it-yourself guy. But I also know where my skill boundaries are. Your employee called you to alert you that something was up, (you informed me on our conversation) and you didn't bother to call me to ask me why the tank was empty. Instead, you directed your employee to proceed and appear like you guys pumped it and created an inspection report and charged our credit card $800. You claim that you tried to work with is which is completely false. We offered you $450 cash to make it right but you refused. You wanted $600 for a service that wasn't performed. In hindsight, we are happy that you refused our offer, since we should never have paid for a service that didn't need to be performed. We were fine with paying some type of trip charge, but you just wanted to defraud us and try to collect the $800! It's very unethical and horrible to think there are licensed businesses that do not put the customer first.

Completely blew my mind when I asked him when he was going to service our grease trap (he didn't have us on the schedule, yet we have had routine service since February) and he replied I have thousands of customers expecting different desires. We ended the conversation with him telling me to go somewhere else. I guess with thousands of customers, he doesn't need my business. Cheers

Don't waste your time. $ 700 to pump your Septic tank and to do an inspection. Additional $175 per hour if you need to have an excavator dig a hole to find the riser. I wouldn't trust them to find a hole in a doughnut. Call Cooper Septic in Apache Junction. $595 and that includes 2 hours of labor including an excavator, if necessary. Horrible customer service.

On the day of because he took another job over my appt. Came the following day and looked over the job, (leaking tub faucet) said he would come the next day to fix it and we never heard from him. Very Unprofessional !
Time to find a new plumber

First call to one of the guys that advertise on TV would have left me without water for several hours. Called Diggers Plumbing and he responded faster than a 911 call.. literally here in minutes. Came out and did a great job fixing the problem at a fair price. We were very pleased and would use Diggers Plumbing again. (Work done fast! As I type this review I would still be waiting for the guy from TV to get here)

I have worked with Joe on several jobs…small jobs such as replacing new fixtures, and large jobs, replacing old sewer main lines, in the yard and under concrete. Several reasons why great plumber…always responsive, professional and fair pricing. Always able to accommodate requests. Great attitude and professionalism. Clean workers. Knowledgeable. Joe has eliminated the thought process and takes care of what needs to be done, in an efficient manner. Would highly recommend!

HE DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO BACK UP A TRAILOR. So he got frustrated and left to "get his other vehicle". Mind you, the homeowner raced from Phoenix because of his promptness, but then he didn't show up for 4 more hours just to let us know that he forgot his hose and would be right back.

Never came back.

Spoke to Steve and he was crazy busy but may be able to fit me in due to my circumstance. Came out and found the issue and got things working again. Got line working and septic pumped and was extremely reasonable and I didn't have to wait over 2 weeks. I would recommend him!

Steve was at our place the same day I called to check out the area and was able to be back out the next day to do the inspection. It wasn't a "smooth sailing" location but they handled it great, kept us on track with paperwork. I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing or septic service.

Adam Poston rated it 1/5: Stay clear of Steve and this company. Just called for a quote to get my septic repaired. He asked to see the report so I emailed to him. Followed up 2 weeks later after not hearing from him and he actually started swearing at me telling him he never got it and that my number was a business number (its not…its my cell) and I was wasting his time. Wow! He is mad at the world. Needs another line of work.
