Replaced old incorrectly installed sewer line and added ejection pump. Very happy with this professional service. Not cheap, but if you're lucky you get what you pay for. I was lucky.

Update: I went to see the work and this is how they left the toilet. This is just ridiculous! See pictures, didn't cut the bolts and did not caulk the toilet like he said he would. Left a mess, awful!!

This is when we found those huge holes underneath… We thought we had a leak with the main water pipe close by so we contacted Elite Rooter. We scheduled an appointment and Armando showed up on time. We found out that our pipe from the '70 was probably leaking from the meter, the house connection, and probably multiple places in between…We also learned that the main shutoff valve wasn't working. At the end, it was cheaper and more efficient to cutoff the old pipe and build a new copper one. They got to work right away and it took 2.5 days. Armando was very professional, communicative, and very well organized. Calling with ETA every day, letting me know whenever he was leaving for lunch or to pick up the parts needed. He answered all my questions in detail. After they were done, our front yard looked like nothing happened!

He performed a thorough inspection before giving me an estimate. The cost is very affordable and fair. My shower drains were cleared efficiently. Afterward he offered a more thorough cleaning with a snake and camera of all my shower and sink drains. I accepted and he came back in a couple of days. Wow! Huge difference in the drains. We were notified by Beacon (the firm that regularly checks our house water meter via EyeOnWater) that a water leak had been detected at our house. We ruled out a toilet leak, a leak in our irrigation system, or a leak in any of our other appliances.

Mike Counsil Plumbing responded to our call by sending out Gert Visser and he systematically walked our property and crawled under the small space under our house to rule out common house water leak sources. After a small puddle of water was found behind our garage, Gert was able to carefully dig into the ground and found the leak in a connection between copper and PVC pipes that deliver water to another section of our property. Despite being a week before Christmas, Gert was able to organize his colleague Samuel Andrade to come out within a few hours of the leak source being identified to replace the bad connection with a water shut-off value.

Throughout this process, Gert and Samuel kept us informed of their progress, were very professional, and implemented a high-quality solution. Great job guys, thank you. Mike Counsil Plumbing comes through for us again.

He wore booties when in the house and didn’t mind that we watched what he was doing. The next day, the seal was not tight so we called again and Matthew arrived within the hour, applied a bead of putty to all contacts and the result was no leaks. Matthew is a credit to Mike Counsil Plumbing and should be recognized for his professionalism and respect for the customer’s comfort and property. We would request Matthew again if the need arises.

Erik Larsen rated it 2/5: So I learned a hard lesson. Look around more. The thing that really makes me mad is the fact that I felt fleeced by these guys and will never use them again. I think its absolutely horrible that they take advantage of people like my elderly
mother especially during covid times. They overcharged her by at least 1000 dollars. The sink they installed is of very poor quality and it is rotting away. The toilet is so big smaller people will have a difficult time using it. So I could go on and on because
this work happened some time ago but the sink should not rot. I like them to make reparations. I've since found God reasonable plumber that does not rip me off.

Ended up using ROOTER HERO. He only charged me their $77 special, so I gave him a $23 tip.

Kitchen sewer got stuck, cannot use kitchen for cook. I called and arranged service the second morning. Then in the morning they called said other people has more priority issue than me, so they decide to push out me to another day.

Update 1/27/23: A week after installation we found that the water heater was leaking from one of the hoses, and promptly called CMS plumbing and let them know. The dispatch one of their plumbers named Louie within a few hours and he came to check it out. Louie was very friendly and knowledgeable, and was able to fix the issue and get it back up and running. That same day, Kory Rushing arrived. Kory took a [whole house] approach to investigating the hammer problem. From the water regulator to crawl space inspection, and testing of water fixtures, Kory made several discoveries that effect the water delivery in my home. Kory inspected the copper re-pipe done 40 years ago and the abandoned water softener lines to gather a complete understanding of my homes issues. Kory shared his findings with my wife and I, still wearing a few crawl space cobwebs. He clearly explained what he saw and how it contributes to the water hammer issues in our home. I am grateful for his in depth inspection and recommendations. Kory offered phased in solutions to improve the longevity of my home's water system – not a hard sell. A separate issue from water hammer problems in my house was the 15 year old water heater needing replacement. Advanced Quality Plumbing & Rooter worked with my schedule and Ray Ibanez arrived on time as promised. Ray was professional, good-natured and ready to work. His van carried all the tools necessary for the job including a electric pump to fast drain the old 50 gallon water heater. Ray answered my questions, worked efficiently and cleaned up when the job was completed. The new water heater looks great with its clean flue vent and natural gas connections and earthquake strapping. Ray Ibanez did outstanding work for my family and I. I recommend Advanced Quality Plumbing & Rooter for any plumbing work.

I called my regular plumber and he came out with a 50 foot snake but couldn't reach the obstruction. At this point, it was after 5 pm on a Friday and I had a helluva time trying to find a plumber who: 1) wanted to work after hours, and 2) had a longer snake.
Enter Kory at Advanced Quality Plumbing. He came over that night with his 75 foot snake. After spending a couple of hours at the house, he realized that the obstruction was even further out. So he came back the next morning and installed a sewer clean out in my side yard. It was a pretty intense project but he finished it on Saturday afternoon. The City of Sunnyvale was able to clear the obstruction from the clean out (tree roots in the sewage line going from my house to the main line). Now, thanks to Kory, when this happens again, we can just call the City and they'll clear the line for free.

Kory was a pleasure to work with. Very friendly, courteous, and professional. His price was very fair especially considering all of his work was done on Friday night and Saturday morning. He communicated every step of his plan and executed each step to perfection. Needless to say, Kory will now be my main go to in the future.

Jason Ado rated it 5/5: We had a leak in our main service line starting on a Friday night and water was gushing up our sidewalk. I called six companies. Three of them told me to call a different company and didn't want to come out despite being within a 5 mile radius to me. I called American Leak Detection and they didn't have an appointment available for another three weeks while there we were, not having water. The fifth company showed up, took a look at it, and didn't want to do it.
Genmor Plumbing was my sixth call on Monday. Genaro showed up that day, inspected it, came up with a plan, quoted me a price which I accepted, then in two hours, we had a temporary fix that got us water flowing again. On Wednesday, the city came by to mark the sidewalk to ensure that we wouldn't hit any important underground lines, and then on Friday, Genaro showed up with his crew, replaced 30 feet of PVC piping with more durable copper pipes, replaced our pressure regulator as well as our obsolete water shutoff valve, then covered the trench all in 8 hours. The next day, Genaro came by to do some finishing touches, completed the job, then we paid their invoice a few days later.

This was a big job and they were the only one who wanted to do it. Not only that, they did it professionally and with quality. It seems that they usually do bigger plumbing jobs for apartment complexes so they have a ton of experience which showed. If another big plumbing job comes up, they will be my first call next time.
