Last year I asked if there was anything that would make his job easier and he told me the following: on recycle days if I could put them on the opposite side of the driveway that would be helpful. He also said if you could leave some space between containers for his truck so he could use the lift it would be helpful. I of course did all that he asked. He was very professional and I hope he stays with the company.
craig klinedinst rated it 1/5: Waste connections of Wichita has missed my recycling and or trash pickup at least a half dozen times in the last 2 years.. today, they did not fully empty my trash bin and their reason was that the leaves were too compacted. I was then told there would be an additional fee of $35 for them to come back and empty the trash AND I would need to stir up the remaining leaves from the trash can. This company has also raised its rate 35% in the past 2 years. I am sorry but this is absolutely, bar none, the worst trash pickup service I have had while I've lived in Wichita. Do not expect on time pick up from this service or customer satisfaction as a priority… There is also a $25 cancellation fee that was never stated in the contract. Big surprise.
Holly C rated it 1/5: I’ve had waste connections now for about 9 months, and to say I’m disappointed in them would be an understatement! We live in a rural area and they have missed our trash several times in the past. So you want to cancel…you will have to call them and wait on hold through 20 or 30 other callers, anywhere from15-30 minutes more times than not. With the holidays I was late paying our trash bill for the first time since starting our services and will say I was over 30 days late. We missed putting our trash out a few times this past month and time had gotten away from me a bit (that’s completely my fault). I went online yesterday and it showed our trash pick up was scheduled…nothing about them stopping or disconnecting our service. I went ahead and paid everything in full and made sure the trash cart was out. Trash was not picked up, so I called today. Hold time today wasn’t terrible only about 10-12 minutes. Apparently our service stopped beginning of January we had just missed putting our cart out so we didn’t know for sure…I explained that this should be updated online to reflect and if we had known, we wouldn’t of took our trash 300 feet out to the road just for it to be scattered by critters all over the place. I informed them we were canceling and was then asked why…so I explained these things and was told that they had no record of my trash being missed in the first place. Believe me or not, we contacted them on at least 2 if not 3 occasions for them missing our trash in the past. They don’t view it as a problem because after all they’ll just pick it up the next week even if you have to spend an hour picking it up off of the side of the road because they didn’t and after my conversation today…it’s 100% apparent that they don’t note it either.

I've never called and complained when things come up, only called to make sure my trash was picked up. I leave my dumpster at the curb. Keeps bugs and animals away from the house. So its never not on the curb to be picked up Tuesday mornings. A couple of days ago, I got an email saying that they were going to start picking trash up earlier in the morning, for what I assumed to be because of the heat …this is not a problem as I always leave my dumpster on the curb. Well, my trash was missed this morning. So naturally, I called to let them know they missed me. The lady said they were running late and that she would make a note of it. About one this afternoon I leave to go to the store and notice my trash is still full. My husband then calls, and they tell him they will be by Thursday. Absolutely not…I told him to call back because the lady specifically told me she would make a note of it to come and pick up our trash. Its so full the lid won't even close. They continue to tell me no, that someone will be by Thursday. I pay for my services even after they continue to raise the price for less than satisfactory service. I find it real funny they sent out an email claiming they are not responsible for trash not picked up if it isn't at the curb earlier, then proceed to just skip my house…and if they skipped my house, I imagine they skipped my entire block. It just seems like they are trying to excuse future laziness of their employees. I canceled my service because they were completely unprofessional and can't do a simple job that they are paid to do. This is definitely not a way for a privately owned company to stay in business. There are several trash companies in the area. Dont waste your money on these people.

Dry Van. You hit their scales on the way in, then the scale attendant will check you in. Stay to the left until you get around Building 3 then go around behind it and there's some outdoor docks. Slide your tandems, back in, and wait. The loader will know what you're getting.
There's nails and screws and other metal everywhere. Im betting I get several flats soon. They made 1 trip insude my truck then disappeared for a half an hour. I guess they took a lunch break with a live load driver sitting out here losing hours. 🤦‍♂️

They've screwed me now three times on my bare bright wire I've taken and they paid me number1 priced @1.50 a pound! and calling clean aluminum ,Tin!!! For all the hard work I put into it and I receive pennies due to them not paying correct!! They used to be very helpful and would at least say hello. Now days there is no talking and they give you the wrong prices. Very disappointed!!

I have called them numerous times for no pick up and they have taken at least multiple days to come out after forgetting to service our whole neighborhood. Having to fight the wind just to keep our trash out so they might pick it up is the last straw. Wednesday 4/6/2022 6:30pm and still no pick up from Monday. Update 4/7/2022 12:40pm- still have trash sitting outside my house- If the truck was delayed yesterday why did my neighbors across the street get their trash picked up on Wednesday? (2 days late-as I told Lisa). Update 4/7/2022 3:30pm Trash was picked up after a 3 day wait.

Worst trash service in town hands down I have nothing but problems with waste link/ air capital. I called the office about it the lady laughed and was very rude. Also left multiple oil spots all over the street in front my home as well. No it was because your driver had his little bin over full before he dumped it into the back 100% I watched it. I posted the pictures I will never ever call you guys again your office is extremely rude and you offer terrible service.

Skips pickup with no make-up day, rude drivers, poor customer service, and even though they are doing a rural route they are too stupid to understand that the wind and critters require a bungie to keep lid closed. Multiple people in my area have asked what to do and WC keeps saying that we should continue to bungie since they do NOT use the loading arms out here, while their drivers keep stealing the bungies while leaving notes that we aren't to bungie, smh. That would be fine if they would pick up the mess that results EVERY time the bungies are left off. Picking up trash spread for a mile down the road can take DAYS. Not OK!!! We will be finding another solution.

Greg Cain rated it 1/5: They offer a dump coupon but force the name on the coupon to be there with the same address on your Driver license. So if your address doesnt match or you are disabled ordon't have access to a truck they wont allow you to use it. Seems unfair

We bought a little bin to keep on the counter and we just dump it in the bucket that Nudge provides and then he picks it up every week…as simple as that! Absolutely LOVE this program and love knowing that we are doing the little that we can to keep waste from the landfills. Thank you!

At first I thought: "No way can I fill a 5 gallon bucket weekly" – I was WRONG! It really made me aware of what can be recycled. Super easy process for bucket pick-up too. Plus, it is nice to get two bags of compost a year without having to "make" it myself. I highly recommend this service for the environment AND the ease of use. oh! and great communication with customers!!

Cliff Dweller rated it 5/5: 316 was the epitome of good service! I had to empty my grandmother’s in Wichita, KS after she passed. A hoarder had lived with her. Lori at 316 was extremely helpful in explaining how dumpster rentals work. She even gave me contacts for other related items (scrap metal and a medical “recycler”. They were prompt with delivery and fortunately, even were able to work with me on timing, as in all, I need two 25 yard dumpsters for a week (to remove the junk prior to the estate sale) and one 20 yard for a day (after the estate sale). I highly recommend 316!
