This is the first time I have used this company and I HIGHLY Recommend them! From the first call, to scheduling, to diagnosis, to repair. At 11:45 I received a text from the technician advising he was on his way and would arrive in 15 minutes. When he arrived, our tech, Jamie, put on shoe covers before entering, and he explained that he was wearing a mask because he had had appointments recently in homes with kids suffering from colds or ??. I appreciated that.

    He quickly went to work diagnosing our problem. Within just a couple minutes he confirmed the problem he had suspected from the description I had given his office. Also based on the info I gave his office, he had already looked up our dryer’s make and model before arriving, so it was a quick search to find the required parts at the nearest supply outlet. His trip to get the parts was less than 30 minutes. He repaired the dryer, closed it up and then thoroughly cleaned the dryer and the complete area where he had worked.

    During the course of the repairs he carefully inspected the entire machine, particularly those parts subject to wear and found no additional issues.

    He provided me with a detailed invoice and accepted/processed my credit card on the spot. He gave me a cheerful goodbye and a look-me-in-the-eye “Thank you” and left.

    I am an experienced (read that “senior”) person and have worked with hundreds of repair folks along the way. My take on the service provided by Mr. Appliance, and especially by Jamie, is that it was extraordinary and maybe the best I’ve ever had. Thank you.

Best Service called me to "schedule service" only to tell me that they would not service our address… Apparently the repairman who had been out OVER A YEAR PRIOR to service a washing machine for what I (barely) remember as an unremarkable visit (he ordered a part and we talked about the mechanism for door closure) reported to Best Service management that the homeowner was "yelling and screaming, slamming doors, and aggressive with parts of the machine." This was a shock to me because there were no raised voices at the visit, "slamming doors" was just me showing him how my prior machine's door closed when swung, and "aggressive handling" was my showing him how the detergent drawer wouldn't latch every time it was pulled out, causing it to fall and break. After being told by the scheduler that Best Service would not come out, I called and spoke with a manager to try to clear up the situation and also find out why had I not been contacted after the prior visit in June 2021 if there had been a report of a concern. I would have called Best Service directly if I was concerned there had been any negative interaction with the tech. I found out in the course of speaking with the company that the tech/company couldn't bill for the visit since the broken part was under warranty and there was no mechanical issue with the door and can't help but wonder if that is a part of this whole thing? I followed up with an email to the management and received no response. Best Service was very unprofessional in how this was handled. As a customer, I should have been contacted when the issue was fresh. "Best" in the company's name is the perfect word to describe what this company is best at: POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

He called his boss and advised that the freezer door was built incorrectly causing the leak and it would need to be replaced. I was advised by the tech and manager that because I did purchase warranty they would resolve this issue and order a new door. They advised me the door would be here in about a month. The door didn’t show up as expected. It took me two weeks to reach a human being through Sears phone system. I was then advised that they couldn’t help me that I had to once again put another ticket in. I then called 5 more times and got someone else who stated that my door was never shipped and would resolve it right away and to please allow 48 business hours. I then get an email asking for my proof of purchase before they will proceed. The service tech took pictures and I have an email from Sears with the documents attached and the door issues. Now I’m still waiting on a response from Sears and have lost now $500 worth of meat. Sears used to be so great. Now I understand why a ton of their stores closed.

They do not fix the appliances that have an extended service agreement. WORTHLESS.

In this case, to be covered under warranty, authorized repair was necessary. I would not hesitate using them again for anything I can’t fix. They were great, getting repair completed in only a couple of days, even during the busy holiday season. Zach was a young Santa saving Christmas. Top notch.

Krystal Herr rated it 1/5: DONT BUY the extended warranty at appliance factory warehouse. The front roller on our 2 year old fridge somehow crumbled under the fridge causing it to become unleveled. Called and left multiple messages with no return call. Then filled out the online request for service and received a call back. Had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment that was supposed to be today only to get called today and told the technician can’t come anymore today and they will need a second technician to come out as well and that this isn’t a covered issue.

I read another customer review who said to check the appliances at the truck before they bring them in, I'd recommend going to the truck as well and checking the appliances before they bring them into your house, to make sure it's what you want and ordered.

    Unfortunately, they were out of stock with the fridge I wanted by the delivery date, and prices were back to full price when I looked at other options, so was disappointed after this experience.

    On a good note though, Robert was the rep who helped me after I rejected the delivery, and he tried to find a replacement, and made the return process simple when there weren't any in stock. If you go to Appliance Factory ask for Robert!

The first guy that came out said that a part needed to be ordered to complete the repair and they'd contact us when it was in. They did but we missed the call. It took numerous calls back to them over the course of about a week before we were finally able to talk to someone and get the second service scheduled. That service was scheduled for an afternoon. The guy showed up at 10am (luckily we were home) and said he was flying out of town that afternoon so he wasn't sure why they scheduled him to come out the. (Neither are we.) He replaced the part but the stovetop still didn't work. He said he needed to do some wire work but would have to come back because he didn't have time that day since he was leaving town. He said he'd have the company contact us to schedule the third visit. They did not. It took another two weeks of us calling before we were able to get the third visit scheduled. That visit was today. The same guy showed up and took the stove top apart. He then said he needed to go to the hardware store to get a couple of things and that he'd be back between 2-3pm to finish the job. He never came back. Instead we are left with completely taken apart, unusable stove top. We tried calling but we get a message saying they are having "technical difficulties" with their phone system and to leave a message. But then it tells you that the voicemail box is full. I am angered and frustrated beyond belief. I will be reporting them to the BBB. I would tell anyone and everyone to stay away from this company.
  • Jaime Shooster rated it 1/5: Don't use this company for your service repair, my honest recommendation. Their warranty provided me no value. I've been waiting 5 weeks to get my LG fridge repaired. I was able to get a technician to come to my home a week after I made an initial call, so that all worked out. However, customer service refuses to make the repair follow-up appointment until all parts have been received from the manufacturer. That seems reasonable, except the warranty they offer doesn't really have value if the manufacturer they are working with is not producing the needed parts and delivering them to brand service care to carry out the repair. Recently getting off the phone with customer service for the 8th time in 4 weeks, I am told I will be waiting another 3 weeks for my parts before I am offered a repair appointment. Not worth it. Unless you want to wait two or more months to get your fridge or appliance repaired. Then it may be worth it to you.

The front roller on our 2 year old fridge somehow crumbled under the fridge causing it to become unleveled. Called and left multiple messages with no return call. Then filled out the online request for service and received a call back. Had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment that was supposed to be today only to get called today and told the technician can’t come anymore today and they will need a second technician to come out as well and that this isn’t a covered issue.
  • John Thompson rated it 1/5: My sister called for dryer repair after trouble shooter via internet the dryer was bought from FAO yrs ago & have done business through the years since they first opened the person on phone let her describe all details of the dryer issues. She told her it was taken apart just needs a heater coil she said okay they would order THAT PART & get back to me, so they did took a week, but I felt like they would fix. Anyway repairman shows up & right away says Dryer is apart this going to cost you more ! he was very rude!
    I said I told the person on the phone that it was apart.
    I could of put it together for you it was only 4 screws to get it running.
    She said if you have problem you can leave and so he just left.
    This is not customer service to us!
    I guess this place has gotten to big to get the kinda service we use to get.
    I or any of my family will not use or refer them ever again!

He looked at the system and advised not to do an expensive repair because he was not confident that it would work over time. He gave us a recommendation for a replacement machine at 1/3 the cost of the existing machine and will install it at no charge. Promise keeps its promises.

We shared with him the issues and he immediately was able to diagnose and walk us thru what was happening and most likely why. James made sure to take extra care to protect the Range and our floors and cabinets, he was very polite and understanding of all our frustration. James shared tips with us on maintenance and best practice for cleaning and services schedules.
    I would recommend Promise and James to anyone, but especially those who have a Viking and need a true expert who is knowledgeable, professional, and cares about how the customer experience is, you don't find many technicians like him, top notch.

He shared he did not have the part he tried a couple of fixes to correct the issue before he left. Then explained due to the holiday to soonest he could return was Wednesday the 28th. As promised, even earlier than expected, Luke showed up and replaced the faulty part. Best appliance repair experience I have had. Luke was professional, clean and efficient. My washer machine started to act up and with family coming into town I needed to get it looked asap. Called Bill and he came out same day, was on time, very polite and I could tell very knowledgeable about his trade. He ran diagnostics on the machine and shared he didn't see a real problem with the machine because the test cycles he was running were not really giving him any error codes. He went ahead and "reset" the machine told me to run a cycle to see if that would re-calibrate the machine. I was prepared to pay him a trip charge and here is where he did the most generous thing…. He told me no charge. He was confident the "reset" would do the trick but if it didn't to call him and then based on what repairs were needed we would discuss the cost. I definitely will be calling Bill for all my appliance repairs. You should do the same! God Bless Bill! 🙂

Bill was super responsive and gave my wife valuable information over the phone of potential causes, estimated price and scheduling. Bill was able to come out between the usual 2 hour window most companies give and called me a couple hours early to let me know he would be able to come out early if I was home. He explained everything that he was doing professionally and clearly and even replaced a couple wheels that were worn out at no additional cost. Finding great people who do great work can sometimes be a hassle, but if I ever have any issues with any appliances in my home I know that I will be calling Appliance Service Pro.
