Julian, the technician, was very nice, professional and on time. They said he would be coming between 1 to 5 pm and that's when he showed up. A belt in the washer slipped out of place a couple of days ago and we called up Gaby right away! George dropped by this morning and repaired it free of charge!

Our only complaint is that he wouldn't take our money when Priscilla insisted he at least charge for the visit. Next time take our money George cuz you know we're gonna call again if we have issues. Thanks a ton El Paso Repair Appliance!

He initially came to remove lint from my dryer. That done, I identified a need for repair to my washer. A part(s) were put on order. Later, communication with regard to the part, its arrival and subsequent repair was expedited professionally thanks in part to Gabby, who mans the office's phone line. She is a conscientious communicator.

Angela Daughtrey rated it 1/5: It all started out pretty professionally but our experience turned into one of the worst appliance repair nightmares we could have imagined. We called El Paso Appliance Repair and requested a technician to come and check out our dishwasher in November 2021 because it stopped working. It was determined the machine needed a new motherboard. We prepaid $158 for the new part to be ordered. Two weeks later, the technician came to "try" to install the new motherboard. In the almost three hours he was at our house, he broke the top panel clasps, scratched our stainless steel door up (he removed the door and took it outside and placed it on the pavement – my husband took pictures) and left without the dishwasher being repaired. His boss, George, the owner of the company, came by a couple of days later to try to make the repairs. We told him about the scratches and showed him our pictures and he said that he would pay for the replacement of the door – $100. After George left, we were hopeful that the dishwasher was now functioning. NO it was not!!! It leaked and the top panel fell to the kitchen floor every time we opened the dishwasher door. We placed towels on the floor to absorb the water leaking from dishwasher for a few days until the dishwasher stopped working again. Not trusting the integrity of the "repaired" dishwasher or that our dishwasher would "ever be the same", my husband and I decided to buy a new dishwasher. We spoke with George who agreed to now refund $258 to us (representing the upfront cost of the new motherboard of $158 and $100 for the scratched door). He also volunteered to pick up and install the new dishwasher and haul off the old one. The day before he was to do the scheduled install, we found out George hurt his back. We felt bad and conveyed our well wishes. It is now January and we really wanted our new dishwasher installed and arranged install with another contractor. Of course that install added another almost $200 to our cash output. Since the install, we have left numerous messages with George and his company to arrange for the $258 refund that we were promised and our calls and requests have all been ignored. Our simple repair ended up costing us over $1,000 because we chose El Paso Appliance Repair. DO NOT USE THEM.

They never answer the phone when you call, it’s in the 100s outside everyday this week and I AM STILL WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING. I’ve had to contact another company and pay again to receive help. Look elsewhere for hvac issues and do yourself a favor please.

I asked them why you charged me $78 without fixing it and they told me its a service charge and to fix microwave it will cost $750..They didn’t tell me before that they will charge me $78…next day he called me and said they can fix it for $275…Don’t even use their services..They will just charge you for no reason. I can buy brand new microwave for $78..Very disappointed with their service.

The repairman was here on Oct 20 and after finding out why the power would not turn on, I was informed he did not have the part on his truck. The part was ordered and sent to my home for a second 8:00 to 5:00 visit a week later to install the part. I received a call the morning of Oct 28 that I would be the first call on his list and he would be here no later than 10:00 am. He arrived at 10:45 (hardly the first call!) The part was installed, he ran it through a rinse/spin cycle and said it was fixed. My total bill so far was $311.91, which I paid. Two days later, I used my washer and found three buttons on the right side of the control panel did not work. The control panel wiring is what was replaced on my front loader washer. The buttons that had not been hooked up were the pre-wash, second rinse, and cycle signal buttons. I again called Sears Home Service to schedule a third visit to fix my washer and was given "8:00 to 5:00" on Nov 3, which was today. After staying home a third day for this repair, I kept getting emails (at least 3) extending the arrival time until at the end of the day, I got a message that the appointment had been rescheduled for Nov 5, you guessed it, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm! I then called Sears Home Repair and told them this was completely unacceptable as Nov 5 was completely busy and I had no intention of cancelling a fourth day for the repair person. I have requested a refund (fat chance, I know) so I can get someone else to fix my washer. I have been a Sears customer for as long as I can remember, not only New Mexico but in several other states as well. However, never again!!!

Scott Greene rated it 1/5: I could not be more unhappy. Our guaranteed repair failed and flooded our house with a couple hundred gallons of water, a second time! When we scheduled a second repair online, we included reference to the original repair date. But they are charging us for a first repair again because we used a different phone contact number. They said we needed to have talked to a person to schedule this repair, but the entire system is set up with computer voice menus that don't allow you to speak to a person. The guarantee is worth nothing. The customer service is no good at problem solving a simple issue on the spot. At every interaction they will try to upsell you a warranty, too. Every way to take your money at every turn. We have paid about $425 to have a small internal tube reconnected twice. The second visit was supposed to be covered by the first $250 which was 60 days prior. We could probably have a new washer for the total cost but were squeezed twice.

I knew I would have to pay the fee of $128, but an additional $140 to tighten a hose?? That’s ridiculous. What a rip off. Sears should give the tech the option of waving that simple task and simply charge to appointment fee.
t diamond rated it 1/5: Horrible customer service. Bought my whole kitchen appliances from Sears in 2013-2014. Had the refrigerator compressor go out. The dates of purchase were given to me by Sears. The warranty on refrigerators is 10 years.
When the service person called to confirm. He stated that the paperwork said the unit was bought in 2000.
When I told him that was wrong, and to please check with the company l, he refused. He told me me if he went to the house I would be charged 259 dollars for the visit, plus labor, plus parts. I told him that it was still under warranty. And I asked again to check with Sears about the manufacture date. He again refused.
So I canceled the service call and got another company to do the job.
Their service call was only 59 dollars, and that amount would be applied to the total of the repairs.
I will never buy another item from Sears. And when they called trying to sell me a service contract for 50 dollars a month I told them as much.
So long Sears, no wonder your company is in the toilet.

No phones call and no e-mail's, no notice from them. It took 5 weeks for the delivery. On top of that, they tried to charge us interest even though we paid in full and on time. I rent my property, so all coordination was done through Liz. Technician arrived as scheduled and fixed some major breakdown keeping my tenants happy. Highly recommend this company for your AC related needs.

During the install I was quick to ask Jorge numerous questions on how the system works, what do’s and don’t to look out for and of course how long it would take. The work was completed efficiently and within a very timely manner and without hesitation all my questions were answered and satisfied with the knowledge and professionalism he holds. I would highly recommend Jorge 10 out of 10 times to family and friends.

One to diagnose the issue and one to repair the washer once Samsung had mailed us the parts. Both employees were very professional and arrived on time or early. Even though there was a 4 hour appointment time window we did not have to wait. It was also very easy to check available appointment times and reschedule as necessary through the confirmation texts the company sends. We would definitely use again if we had any other repair issues.

Robert Murillo rated it 1/5: The tech kept us waiting, we received the parts and did not complete the repair for 3 days. Customer service was no help. No manager aviable to provide support. Have use Sears years for year's. We had never received such a bad experience not using Sears again. SEARS CONTRACTS out to 3rd party companies. Not a satisfied customer
The tech also didn't connect the exhaust dryer hose.
John Patterson rated it 1/5: Worst experience ever. Sears would not honor the 10 year warranty on the compressor. Customer service lied several times about computer being down so they could not look up sale. Several calls and representative said that they would, the repair man charged for parts. Over $500 labor to change it and over $500 for parts. Food defrosted and we had to throw away a lot of spoiled frozen food.
This is the absolutely the last time we will buy a Kenmore.

He was very knowledgeable and friendly and not just trying to squeeze money out of you. I know who I'll be calling next time I have an issue.

The repair itself took no more than 10-15 minutes and they were able to replace the broken part with a new one on the spot. Highly recommend Tom for anyone looking for appliance repairs for their home.
RMT rated it 1/5: DO NOT TRUST HIS WORD!! Spoke to Tom on 11Aug for dryer repair. He quoted me $60 to come by and assess and said it would go toward the repair. He was given my address and would be here on Monday (15Aug). NEVER said a time. Waited, Waited, Waited…NEVER SHOWED!!!🤬 Wasted my whole day….Wasted my time!! DO NOT TRUST!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!
