However a nice lady picked up the phone and asked what the issue was. After my explanation she asked me to send her the video and pointed out what might causing the issue and how I should do to test it first then call them again if the issue still exists. She communicated back to me whenever I had questions. I am very grateful for her kindness and professional advices. I was not able to get her name though. I highly recommend Same Day Appliance Repair! I know this is the company I can trust and rely on!

It turned out that it had to do with the computer board at the back top left. He checked for a replacement and found that it would be a 1-3 day delivery. I had a top freezer black refrigerator. He checked with store and they only had white or stainless. I said I will check with my brother regarding ordering the computer. I had explained our dilemma. In the meantime while waiting to hear from my brother, I checked for a black refrigerator. I found that most had only white or stainless. After hearing from my brother I called him back to order the computer. Upon that call, he said they had 2 black side by sides and didn't know if I was interested in a side by side versus top freezer. I said yes. He said okay, sent pics, and said it could be delivered that day. Due to our dilemma he made it happen. Damian and Renée delivered. However, we had a problem with the closure of the left door. They both worked on that to no avail. Damian and Renée helped tr a Nefertiti food to new.After that noticed problem with icemaker. Ricardo came the next day in the afternoon, worked on the door, went and got parts for both door and icemaker. Ricardo evidently fixed both. Called on Saturday about door but when my brother came by, I was trying to show him the problem but miraculously, it was working fine, and has since then. Rudy Cano made everything happen, was professional, very nice,, heard my needs. All the others, Damian and Renée (Delivery Personnel, and Ricardo(the technician), were very nice and professional. Thank you to Rudy, Ricardo, Damian, and Renée, Nelly, Vanessa, Mercedes, the Boss, (and anyone I left out) from Same Day Repair and Houston Appliance Center. Thank you. There was no need to run out to get ice chests and ice to transfer food to. The one delivered has been on in shop and still cool. Thank you to all and at this time all seems all working good. Also, the refrigerator was in pretty great condition. Thank you.

I appreciate her honesty and concerns. Response was immediate and the technician, Edgar was at my home to repair my refrigerator promptly next morning. The refrigerator repair was to fix an ice maker that would continuously freeze up and the issue with the dishwasher was that it wouldn’t pump water for the wash cycle. We are extremely pleased with both services. The repairmen that showed up were professional, very knowledgeable and courteous. They took the time to explain the issues and what would be involved in the repairs. We received the repair quotes via a text link. There have been zero issues for the repairs that were performed. We are very happy and will be using Uptown Appliance again.

T Warren rated it 5/5: My fairly new 4 yr old Samsung dryer drum stopped spinning. I called on a Saturday and received an appointment for Monday. Monday morning came and I got a call from Sal asking if I’d like to schedule appointment Tuesday through Thursday and when I said I was told they could come Monday, Sal did honor the request and scheduled me between noon and 3pm. I called at 3 PM after not hearing from anyone and later found they were running late, which does happen. Sal and Rey showed up around 5 and were able to fix my dryer the same day. I was thankful they had the part on their truck. Before they left I did ask if they had reconnected the dryer hose to the dryer and was told yes by Rey. Sadly once I attempted to use my dryer I discovered it was not reconnected and the hose was all crumpled up and not attached at all: See attached photo.
So I had to pull my dryer out and after about 15 to 20 minutes of work was able to get it reconnected myself. I wish they had done that part as they said they had and wouldn’t have cost me extra time and frustration to figure it out myself and pay fully for service that wasn’t really fully completed.

****Update: 6/1/2022 – almost immediately after I posted my review the owner, Marco, called to see how he could make it right.
He offered to send the team out to replace my vent hose with a newer one and he also offered a free dryer vent cleaning service. That service was completed yesterday and the same technicians were thorough and also let me check to ensure the vent hose was hooked up correctly. Later in the day Marco called to follow up on the service. I appreciate the customer service in making things right and a dedication to ensuring his team used my experience as a learning opportunity for future customers. *****

They are consistently very responsive and have always scheduled same day for any critical concern like my most recent refrigerator issue. I have found their pricing to be fair in both minor and major jobs. Most importantly, I trust Marco or one of his other techs to be honest about what work I actually need. Today is the perfect example, I was concerned my refrigerator compressor was starting to die or malfunctioning. After checking it and reviewing the timing (they replaced it 6 years ago), Marco told me the compressor should last at least 10 years, everything was actually operating correctly, and gave me a better list of concerns to watch for. A less-reputable company might have taken advantage of my concern and suggest I replace the compressor for a few thousand dollars. It's that trust that makes me a loyal customer.

Techs took liberty while I was not paying attention to place stickers on my appliances, including ones they were not asked to service (refrigerator). They proposed a small repair/service scope to my dryer, which I approved them to do, but they never followed up to schedule. When I finally called back after a couple weeks, they told me at that time they couldn't find the parts to do the service that was requested. So I ended up paying their $89 fee for the tech visit, but obviously was never able to apply that towards any service.

Jules Green rated it 5/5: I was having a long standing issues with a burner on my cooktop that was clicking and not lighting, or it would light occasionally but the igniter would continue to click. I called Appliance Home Service who said that a technician would call back.
Honestly, in expecting the worst because of recent HORRIBLE service with another appliance repair company, I was not expecting a call anytime soon. To my surprise, Luke called me within 2 hours of my original call asking if they could come out to my home in the next 45 minutes!

When Luke and team arrived, they were very professional and you could tell they knew their stuff about appliances. I went into my office and 10 min later Luke called me back into the kitchen and the burner was fixed! He explained a couple of issues that caused the problem and also educated me on how to prevent the issue going forward.

He also reassured us that if the issue occurred again, he would be able to replace the part if we called. We also discussed the issue with my DaCor oven that multiple previous appliance repair companies could not fix which further assured me in their capabilities as a repair service.

I highly recommend Appliance Home Service and if you can get Luke and his partner to work on the issue, I promise you will be in excellent hands! Thanks Luke and team!

They came and looked at the problem and suggested that it would be better to get a new one. They even suggested where I could go get one at a reasonable price. They even went to get it and installed it and hauled the old machine away. All for a very reasonable price.

My Saturday call was not only answered but Luke, the technician, called me back and made an immediate repair appointment for Monday! Luke was professional, prompt and knew exactly how to quickly repair the microwave. The repair did not take 30 minutes and he was on his way to helping another customer. AND our family had that valuable appliance working again.

We live in greater Houston area so they told me there will be a trip charge and they can only make trips specific days of the week. I was scheduled 10 days after my call. On the day the tech arrived on time. Removed the microwave and after a while he told me the issue was a burnt out cable. The previous tech must have left a half finished job according to his words. He fixed it then asked if I had an electricians type that I provided. He also said if any issue they won’t charge the trip charge. I received a 360 bill for this repair out of which my HOI covered 240. Trip charge wants covered by them. 5 weeks later microwave stopped working again. To avoid a big bill my husband opens the unit and you can see the findings. The cable burnt terribly to an extend it could have caused afire. Question is WHY DO these SPECIALISTS CAnnot fix a simple cable and yet do not have an electrician toe and why are they still the only rep for WOlf . Very dissatisfied with their service and would not recommend to anyone if they do t want to burn their home!!!!
Karla rated it 1/5: Terrible service!!! I called them seven months ago to repair a Wolf vent that was not coming up/down. The motor was working fine but the vent was getting stuck halfway up/down. However they took the motor out, said they needed to replace it, but they have never installed the new one!!!! They never replaced the original problem but now the vent doesn’t even have a motor!!!!! The technician will fail to arrive in more than one ocassion or they would arrive late!!! And when finally he shows up he leaves the Vent worst every time!!!! WORST service ever!!!!!! Terrible!!! I suggest you Try any other option but definitely NEVER contact Seasonal Comfort! My vent is still not repaired, with no motor, and they haven’t care at all!!!!

Eric arrived that morning to take a look at the washer to see what was causing the issue. He explained everything to me that was needed.
The most awesome thing for this being on a Saturday, the parts that the washer needed, they had it at their warehouse, how cool was that!!!
Eric was able to get the washer up and running that day.
The only thing that I didn't like is that the parts only carry a month warranty, I was very surprised with that one.
Overall I am thankful to have the washer fixed and I would use them again.
Eric's customer service and knowledge was great!!!

It was super easy to schedule an appointment online and they called me to confirm my appointment 20 minutes before. Ratmir, my repair guy, was on time and he was very detailed when he explained what was wrong with my refrigerator's water dispenser. We had to replaced several parts and he told me exactly how much each part cost and why I had to replace them (damage from "fixes" that the old owner try to instill). Lucille Farley rated it 1/5: My Sears Home Warranty uses this repair company and the customer service and responsiveness to messages left on their machine is not a professional method to conduct business and you never get a live voice unless you call multiple times. They scheduled an appointment with me for Saturday 9/11 in between the hours of 10-1 and no one ever called to confirm they were coming out nor did they show up then the audacity of them to have a prerecorded message stating their office was closed Saturday for maintenance. If office maintenance was going to impact them sending out a technician then a courtesy call should have been made to let me know. I have left message after message and contacted Sears Warranty and told them to find someone else reliable and responsive as I've already paid both Warranty and deductible for the service and they not even have the decency to reach out regarding the appointment or check to see if a more suitable date would be okay to reschedule for due to inconvenience on their end. I was supposed to attend a funeral for a love one who died due to COVID-19 and missed it sitting around my home waiting on someone to show up because non communication from their end. This is a very disturbing matter and I just hope after Monday if no one shows up that Sears finds me another reliable service provider or I will be canceling all services with SEARS if this situation isn't rectified the way it should of been without me having to do a poor review in order for them to understand that people's time is precious and they need to do a better job or hire someone to answer the phone and not have to just leave messages waiting on them to respond just like I waited on them to show up. I am very upset and wish I'd never had to deal with their incompentecy all together. Wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Been working great now for 2 weeks (dryer wouldn't heat).
