The repair was made–$265 for about half hour worth of work. OK, expensive but you pay for the expertise. Then 30-days later same problem. No worries, I thought, because they have a 90-day warranty (I thought). The tech returns takes one look at the water and demands another $265. I protested but to no avail–read the fine print. They argue that they cannot control the customer's use, which is true but…. I what assurance does the customer have that a lasting repair was made and this is not some scam.Two such repairs could almost pay for a new machine and a 5-year warranty. Because of this I cannot recommend this service for this procedure. But you be the judge for other services.

How does this company get such a high review on Google after all??

Okay, so first time you call them, they will ask your credit card information and they will save it up to charge you later on. And here comes the deceitful doing!

My experience is we got our LG washer repaired by their technician. Luckily it's just a small issue and they don't need to replace any parts (I guess that help me saving money with them). The technician mentioned that that I will see $70 charge on my credit card for the work. So the very same day, I checked my account and I saw a pending $70 charge. I thought okay that's it.
However, as I checked my monthly statement a couple days ago, I saw another charge of $180 on my account. During the days after the service and I finding out the charge, there's no invoice, no text message, no receipt, no any other type of notification telling me about this charge! THEY ARE TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY BANK WITHOUT ME KNOWING IT! THEY ARE STEALING PEOPLE"S MONEY!!

Then, of course, I called them. I complained about it. And, to my amusement, the very next day, they issued a refund of $130. PLUS, they send me an invoice of charging me $120, that's a flat $120 without any details!! So, what are the $70 and $180 charges earlier? Why $120 now? Which part is for diagnosis fee and which part is the repair fee, as you the company excused yourself for?

Now looking backwards, they ask you to give your credit card information beforehand; they don't mention anything of a diagnosis charge; their technician don't leave you an invoice; they don't send you an invoice in email. All thing considered, these help them to just make up any amount of charge afterwards and they could just "reasonable" explain their surcharge to you in any way they like!

BTW they are called NaNa.I’m and they only have a 1’e7/5 on BBB.

After waiting 7 months for a part they said was on backorder, they charged my card 350.00 and asked how I liked the job. What job?? You hadn't been here for 7 months and I was still waiting! I fortunately called my credit company and got it back. DON'T USE THEM. IT'S A TOTAL RIP OFF.
And after my not having an oven for 7 months, they could have felt bad for me and not charged me at all but they said they deserve the money.
Well. I hope they enjoy their 70.00 because I'm telling the world to BEWARE!! They will use your credit card illegally and if I had the time or if there's a lawyer out there who wants to take on a class action suit, I bet it would be easy to put together.

The greeting instructed me to go to their website to request service. I posted two separate messages several weeks ago to request a quote for a relatively simple clothes dryer repair, and nobody every contacted me back. Never again.

The issue I thought I had was going to be more expensive to fix. But , Gary diagnosed a very different problem and the cost went down from what I expected to pay. I appreciate his honesty and education on how to take better care of my fridge. Highly recommend him and his services.

When our refrigerator at our temporary rental went out, while my landlord dithered about trying to get it fixed, I called Gary, communicated the urgency (I'm pregnant and also have a toddler), and he moved his schedule to come right away. His base price is phenomenally reasonable, and he even came back the next day when things were still not working right – turns out there is a malfunctioning part that has been discontinued wah wah. Either way, he came back again to make sure the job was done to the extent possible, and was kind and communicative the whole way. Honestly it just boils down to Gary being a good person. And those are the kind of people you want coming into your house to help you.

To make matters worse during the initial work he had to return because he did not properly seal the heater and I awoke to the small of gas the next morning. I gave him a chance to fix the issue and he was prompt back then but as they saying goes, fool me once shame on me…I would not recommend him.

When the technician Sam arrived he was friendly, helpful, and honest about whether a repair was needed vs. investing in a new washing machine. Sam even gave us tips on how to best use our washing machine to maximize it's life.

Called Visak, he answered his phone promptly and was very polite, listened to the issue with our electrical appliance and asked if we would send him a text with the model number of our range and our address. Visak said he would call us back after he received the text to schedule a time to come out. We went one step further and texted him not only the model number of our range but the part number for what was needed for the repair.

Visak said he would be able to come to our home to see what was needed and said it would be a 75 dollar service fee (his website states 50 dollars um??….). We heard have heard nothing from Visak not a text, not a phone call…nothing. We had to look elsewhere for services. I would not recommend him to anyone.

We are thoroughly disappointed with this treatment considering the excellent reviews he got. Visak's Repair described as – Reliable Residential and Commercial Major Appliance Repair Service, Residential Appliance Repair in Oakland, CA…..I find this NOT to be the case…Reliable was DEFINITELY NOT the service we received.

alex chan rated it 1/5: Do not ever use this company! I had them come out for a repair of an oven hinge and they charged $255 to fix it. Only they didn't do the job correctly. The oven door would close fine but would not stay open so when you are taking a hot pan out of the oven the oven door will close on your arm! My tenant got burned taking something out of the oven and called me to complain. When i called TopHome, they sent the guy out but he couldn't figure out how to repair it. He said put a weight on the door and the spring will loosen up. After many more calls, Top Home says to call another repair company and they will not refund the money. In the meantime I still have a defective repair.
In desperation, I looked up the repair on Youtube and found out that this oven takes one spring on one hinge and one hinge with no springs. The parts kit comes with 3 different springs for different ovens and you need to choose the right ones. The repair guy put 2 springs in instead of one and made the door close way too strong. I called TopHome to explain to them how their guy did not repair the oven correctly and they still would not send the repair man out again even though I would tell him how to fix the problem!
Top Home is the worst service company I have ever dealt with. I have never posted a bad review in my life, but this experience compelled me to tell everyone. DON'T EVER USE TOP HOME APPLIANCE REPAIR. THEY ARE DISHONEST CROOKS WHO DO A BAD JOB AND REFUSE TO STAND BY THEIR WORK.

Their service dept has 0 followthrough on appointments. 0 attention to rescheduling. Forgetting all the notes every time I called. I ended up canceling the "repair" today after weeks of phone tag and missed appointments and am eating their 125 dollar service fee. Another company is coming to repair it and are confident they can do so in one visit. It's a regular christmas miracle!
Do not waste your energy or time with this terrible and unprofessional company.
