Found a part that needed to be repaired but also mention my system was on its last leg. Several days later they sent Jeff to come give me an estimate for a new system. He was super helpful and knowledgeable and not pushy about anything. Decided it was best to replace my entire system. The next day they came and replaced my entire system. We’re nice, respectful, and left the house cleaner than when they got there. Couldn’t recommend this company any more

I then called AlphaTek, they were able to get out in two days. Tim was very professional, he noticed they could get the needed part and install it the next day. When the part was installed, he discovered another component was needed that is no longer available. Tim gave me a few suggestions on a quality, long lasting replacement and only charged for one $85 service call. I also discovered in our conversation that he’s a Veteran and his son currently serves in the Army as an Apache mechanic. I would definitely use AlphaTek for any future appliance repair.

It took them another week to come back out & fix it. It worked for a little over a week & now it's dead again. Not happy with my service & do not recommend them.

The service tech got held up on the job before us so he took the time to inform me & ask if that was OK or if we'd prefer to reschedule. Then he showed up as expected (new time).
He was very pleasant and professional. The work took about 90 minutes. He tested the washer to confirm that the problem had been resolved.
He then cleaned up thoroughly. Zero mess left behind.

If I need an appliance repaired in the future – Mr Appliance will get the call. They really did a great job.
T G rated it 2/5: Had to replace a motor in a dishwasher. Never have had to pay a diagnosis fee from the repair man. It’s like an auto repair shop charging for a diagnosis. “Let me charge you, to tell you how much more money I’m going to take from you.”
The repair men were great, super courteous and speedy.

However, I don’t understand why a company who is taking $500 from me, thinks they can tell me when to be home for them. I was told a part would be ordered and they’d have to come back later in the week to install. I stated a specific day that I would be free, but that date was not booked. Rather, without confirming my availability or seeking any input form me, it was just scheduled for a day sooner. I was told they schedule for as soon as the part is in, which I understand the sentiment. But I, as your customer, should not have to put in more work to get it scheduled when I’m free because no one bothered to ask. I’m pretty baffled at this.

When I complained about this to the scheduler, she decided to tell me about a conversation that I had with the repair man that she wasn’t privy to, because she obviously knows better than me what we talked about. She also blamed the repair man for not doing her job for her.

My appliance was fixed in a timely manner by a friendly repair man, but I think some of the business decisions should be reconsidered.

The man on the phone asked me a few questions about the problem and advised me that it may not be the thermistor but could be another component causing the problem. He told to check three other components before ordering any parts. Sure enough, one of the components he told me to check was the cause of the problem. When I went to Associated to pick up the replacement part the man at the counter advised me to check for restricted air flow, which may have cause the part failure in the first place. You can’t find guys like this on the internet!

They do not give you any input on appointment time, not even if it is in the first or second half of the day, so you have to pretty much clear your schedule and wait on them. They say they will call or text you when they are finishing with the previous appointment, but they don’t. They just call you and say ‘we’re at your house now’. They have very low availability, so you will go several weeks between the appointment where they evaluate what’s wrong and the one where they attempt to fix it after ordering parts. Then the parts they order won’t even fix the problem. And don’t get me started on the appointment that they scheduled for the afternoon. And they waited until 3 pm to call and tell me that 4 of their technicians called in sick that day and no one would be coming and I’d have to reschedule. Yes, 4 people called in sick and 7 hours later they called to tell me. This company is hands down the worst and I will never have them back to my home. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM

Great thing was that we found out that it wasn’t a dishwasher problem, but a power issue. I will highly recommend Guinco in the future!

My repair technician Jason Soto quickly discovered it was not properly installed. The drain hose did not have the clamp attached. It was left attached further down the drain hose. If it was not for Jason's professionalism the leak could have caused tremendous damage to my kitchen wood floor and AC duct under my cabinet. Thank you Jason and Quinco Service for your quick and efficient service.

It was just fixed on November 21 because of waiting on all the needed parts to come in. All of that had nothing to do with Guinco but why I gave Guinco five stars is because our repairman Jason S. was wonderful and professional and knew exactly what to do. April who was like our liaison in the office during the three months of waiting was so empathetic and helpful. She never was tired of our calls or texts to check on progress of the parts. We appreciate Guinco so very much and would definitely recommend their service. Thanks so much!
Melissa Cox rated it 1/5: The service man Jason was great however the wait time for parts and customer service I received while waiting 3 months for parts for my brand new Whirlpool refrigerator was ridiculous!! I lost several hundreds of dollars worth of groceries. Purchased the refrigerator brand new on August 5th and finally got it fixed today November 4th!!

Suzy Lausen rated it 5/5: I highly recommend Tim's Home Maintenance. I was experiencing some worrisome electrical issues, so Tim came out to see if he could get to the bottom of it. He came out promptly and worked tirelessly until he flushed out the melting wires behind the outlet causing all the problems. It was like finding a needle in the haystack. While doing so he even fixed another outlet that wasn't working. He goes above and beyond to get the job done. Highest praise for quality work!!

Laura rated it 1/5: Hiring this man will be a mistake. His first visit to my home he seemed nice and seemed to know what he was doing. The 2nd visit he didn’t show up but ended up calling asking if he could come another day so I agreed. He came and said a different things that was wrong with the toilet and he had replaced a part in the tank. That resulted with a flooded house. My bathroom hallway bedrooms and some of the living room was soaked! So I call him to come back but he didn’t want to come and asked if he could come another day but I said no this time. He came but didn’t remember anything he had said about the toilet the visit before. He ended up fixing the part he put in incorrectly the first time but that was all he wanted to do. He would not spend anytime to look for the real issue. I told him to just leave and not to come back. I would use a better plumber/ company. Trust me save your time and money and call someone else! He’s untrustworthy and very unprofessional and doesn’t really know what he is doing, preforms sloppy work and will never come when he’s supposed to.
