First let me say the 2 woman who came to clean my house seemed to be nice enough people. Unfortunately the one woman could not, speak, understand or read English so the list l created was useless to her and she seemed to need constant direction. So the one woman spent a lot of her time directing the other woman & translating my list and instructions. I had specifically asked to pay them by the hour so they would not be in a rush, in hopes that they would take their time to do a more thorough job. I agreed to pay them EACH $50 an hour for a minimum of 2 hours, at that rate l certainly had expected they would have been formally trained on the do's & don"ts of proper cleaning and would be equally qualified. So of course I was shocked to see them shaking my bathroom area rugs right over my toothbrush, make up & towels. Long story short my house was no cleaner when they left, than when they arrived. Worst of all my sliding glass doors were actually worse and l had to replace our toothbrushes and all my makeup. l tried to contact them to discuss my dissatisfaction they never returned my phone call. But they did charge my card the full amount . They simply don't care about their customers.

Using maid brigade was not my first experience with a housekeeping company, so I know what to expect from a good quality cleaning service. Before moving to Florida last fall I had a housekeeping company that I loved and used for years on a regular basis, it would take 2 people about 2 hours to clean my 1900 sq foot home. I used maid brigade for 4 months and from the beginning I questioned how long it took them to clean my current home. A team of 2 people were always done in 1.5 hours and this home is 2700 sq feet. It was always different people coming to clean and not the same team each week which I was not a big fan of. I would often notice things missed each week like a surface not dusted or something small but I let it go. However this kept happening consistently each week with different teams, which meant its a company issue and not specific to one person. This past week I canceled my service because they came to "clean" my home and it was anything but that. My master bedroom and bathroom didn't even looked like it had been cleaned. There was visible dust on all of the furniture, the garbage was not emptied, the shower had hair, dust and soap scum and the floor was not mopped.The lack of service was evident because a team of two people spent less than 1 hour cleaning a 2700 square foot home. It is not possible for 2 people to thoroughly clean a 2700 sq ft home in less than hour. When I called to cancel they offered to send another team who has not been to my home but I did not want that. They did ask if there was anything that they should come back to fix but I declined because I was appalled at the lack of cleaning that they completely lost my trust and I just ended up doing it myself.

Well, I've heard that before so we invited three more tradesmen to quote the work. One of them took one look and told us he couldn't do the work – it was too difficult. The next one said the pavers had lived their useful life and needed to be replaced.

So we gathered some quotes from folks who install new pavers. They 'confirmed' that the pavers had lived their life and should be replaced. That's when we did some research and discovered that pavers have an expected life of 35 years – ours are less than 20 years old.

We then invited Mark to do a 'test patch' to see if he could back up his claim. It actually looked pretty good so we hired him and his company to strip, deep clean, re-sand and seal all our pavers.

The day he finished – it took four days – we couldn't believe how great the pavers look. In fact, they look better than they did when they were first installed.

He has sent a subcontractor – a pool guy – to help us restore the swimming pool to normal and a cement guy to fix a few pavers that came loose in the cleaning process.

At this moment we couldn't be happier and would be happy to allow you to see the pavers yourself – should you be wondering if Paid to Maid can deliver on their promise.

This is how you define customer service. The cleaners they use also know this so they will really make an effort to do thier best. We have had 2 different crews and they are great.

A glass cake pan was on my oven an cracked as a result. When I made the company aware of the accident, they gave me a hard time before finally agreeing to pay for it. I didnt even want them to pay for it, I just wanted them to be aware of it. But after all of their denial, I will never waste my time with them again.

Showed up at 6:30pm, rushed the cleaning where I had to go back over counter tops and floors. Left rugs and belongings is disarray. Nothing was put back in the right spot. Used strong bleach smelling cleaners when I was told she wouldn’t because of my 6 months old. Was told too to bottom clean and that wasn’t done. She didn’t even clean or vacuum a room or ask to go into it to clean. I will
    Never use this service and would highly not recommend. The owner didn’t make me pay for the cleaning because it was such a bad experience but still wanted to share how it all went down. Not a big fan of the owner as well. She is a bit unprofessional and pushy. Also told me if I would have had the cleaning the day before, it would have been a better experience since it wasn’t as busy on a Thursday. I really don’t think so. I set this cleaning up weeks in advance.

    Update: After leaving a bad review, I was called by the lady that set everything up which I assume is the owner harassing me because I left a bad review. She is SUPER unprofessional and I had to block her number after I hung up on her for yelling at me. Moral of the story, Stay far away from this company.

    Recommended by a close friend I hired this company to do what they considered a deep clean which included dusting, mop, windows, baseboards and ceiling fans, kitchen and inside of microwave. A woman and man arrived at my home took pics and video of everything and sent it to the company before they started. Once the owner and I agreed on the price and service she gave them the ok to start working. I tipped them upfront and left them to go to church…only to come back and find them stealing my personal belongings. They had their car (white suv) packed with bags filled with a jar of change that I was collecting, my brand new drill and tool set, several designer watches and sneakers, picture frames, pots and pans, blankets, rugs etc. Also a very nice wicker basket that was never retrieved. The women apologized and said “it was the gentleman that took it, please don’t call the company I’ll lose my job”. After calling and speaking with the owner Nicovi (Nicki) sending her pictures of the bags I took from their car and a screenshot of her employee admitting they took the stuff, it took her 1.5hr to get back to me to only indirectly call me a liar. She gave a bunch of excuses first “they said they didn’t do it” then “they said the items had mold or bugs” a jar filled with change ISNT TRASH! None of the items they took had mold or bugs or any other issue. She first offered me a discount then after giving her a piece of my mind she offered to return my money, tip included and send someone else to finish cleaning. These two had bags loaded up with my belongings yet they didn’t clean. My kitchen wasn’t touched at all except for the things they stole. My windows were left filthy…I sent all the picture proof to the owner Nicovi who stands by her employees. Telling me “We work with the Mayor… I’ve never had this issue, They said they didn’t do it and I’m not there”. I refuse to have anyone from her company back in my home. As far as I’m concerned they are all crooks. As I looked around more I noticed more things that are missing but not in the bags that I recovered…even down to bottles of Red Wine. I can only assume they filled the wicker basket and took it home because it wasn’t in their car that was filled with the bags.
    I’ve filed a police report and plan to take further action. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I informed the company that I was not satisfied with their services and will not recommend their services to anyone, especially my friends and family. This is due to their lack of professionalism and respect for my time. They also did not offer me "additional services" that their website states is a part of the appointment booking process (booked appt over the phone). I booked their "move out" cleaning service and was told they would clean to my property management's move out inspection cleaning standards. Apparently cleaning the walls is a "special task or extra" and that would need to be added as an additional service during booking. Two things: 1. I booked over the phone and was not offered the additional service (nor was I informed the walls are not included). 2. cleaning the walls is a part of the property management's move out inspection cleaning standards. I let them know I was not satisfied within their 7 day window (per their refund/200% money back guarantee on their website), to which they responded "I didn't tell them until 3 days after they performed their services." I see no disclaimer to that guarantee anywhere on their website.
  • C S rated it 1/5: Do NOT hire this company. The first time they came to our home they did okay, but still missed some things that would have taken 10 seconds that we specifically pointed out beforehand.

    The second time they barely did anything at all besides sweep the stairs in two whole hours AND they left 20m early without saying a word. I had to go back and clean/dust everything myself.

    The third time they didn’t show up and I had to reach out to them for another team and day because they said the team was no longer with them. Low and behold they didn’t show up the next time either when I specifically needed them that week because we were having company over.
    When I reached out to them about it they first acted like they came when they didnt because I was home and have security cameras and Ring. Then they said they didn’t even know who I was and must have mixed me up with somebody else despite having been texting and contacting them from the same number for over a month.

    They finally send a team out and they came inside, asked me what I wanted done, and then told me they don’t speak English. Then they laughed as they held a translator app to my face before leaving, and sat playing on their phones in the car for 20+ minutes I finally told them to leave and sent photos to their manager who then lied and said that it wasn’t their car? Thank god I have security cameras to show it was them and the time stamps.

    Horrible and unreliable service, look elsewhere.
