They showed up on time, were friendly and talked to me about the different conversion options, including electric. I'll be honest, I didn't price shop around because I felt comfortable with them (including the office staff), they showed up right on time, presented me an option that was cheaper than I had originally planned for and the price seemed very fair to me considering all those things!

Several months later we had a bad storm and I got water in the house again. I called the roofers back and was told I needed to get a chimney cap as there were cracks on the top of my chimney. Kurt came and gave me an estimate and showed me some pictures so I understood what was going on up there. His estimate wasn't the highest or lowest but I chose all American specialty services because he was the most thorough and explained in detail what was going on. Another company suggested replacing the flashing again. I asked Kurt about this and he said 'I can certainly do it for $300 but it would be a waste of your money since it looks good.' This sealed the deal. The day of installation, the guys were professional and it took only a few minutes to install my new chimney cap. Within a few minutes of them leaving, I noticed a bird stuck in the new cap. I immediately called Kurt and he sent one of the guys back and also came with him to uninstall the whole cap and let the bird free! Great work, professional and compassionate of a little bird! Would recommend them to anyone!

This could have broken the $500 glass doors I paid for or hit my child. Also, they never even fully cleaned up the excess mix around the chimney and still did a poor job. Avoid this company
I was advised a new unit was required on my newly purchased home and the current unit is inoperable. I was quoted 5k+ for the replacement.

Pros:
Free estimates.
The young service staff is courteous and professional (Anthony is very sweet).
I was given options for repair or replacement.
The business responds to emails in a timely manner.
They address questions/concerns.

Cons:
The unit was picked for me w/out my input.
The unit came with the incorrect sized glass covering. I had to wait several days for the replacement.
Cost. I looked up the cost of the unit I received vs what I was charged.
Disorganized. I received overdue notices prior to the svc being completed and appointments were changed last minute.

I was concerned that I can hear water dripping down the unit, which did not happen previously, but was told it's normal/echo and all seals were checked. They committed to addressing the issue if I continue to experience concerns.

Overall, the company did what they promised and the fireplace/unit looks good. They kept their word and worked hard to ensure I was satisfied.
