They were willing to answer all my questions, and even call back to the office. I truly appreciated the "tent" (except it kept me from watching the progress 😁 ) and the care they took coming in the house.
From the first time we just happened to stop in, the customer service has been the best. Richard answered all our questions and gave us information that we had not thought about. We tried another fireplace store, but the customer service was lacking just to look and ask about inserts. Once we found an insert that we liked with C & C, we went back to talk to Richard. He ended up coming out to give us a quote and his knowledge and information about our existing set up (house built in 1959) was interesting to hear. The whole office has been friendly in person, on the phone and through texting, and always kept us informed on the process.

They performed the job efficiently and seemed to work well together. The inspection was thorough and well-documented with photos, and I was later provided a written report via email. They ran a camera up the chimney and Kevin explained what he saw and what it meant. They went on the roof and inspected the exterior of the chimney. They left the work area clean, answered all my questions, and set out some options for some future work. This is my first time to use C & C and I was impressed by both the technicians, the scheduling office and the customer service follow-up.

This supplier was really dragging their feet to complete the installation and we called several businesses in the metro begging for someone else to perform this installation. Several said no since we did not purchase the fireplace through them and we started to feel hopeless. After calling American Chimney, they were willing to consider the job and even met me at the job site on a Saturday evening. After reviewing the fireplace and the parts I had, they accepted the job. The team (which is a family affair) was out at the job site that same week to complete the installation. I cannot recommend Randy and his family enough. They provided exceptional customer service, thorough communication, and answered any questions we had. They also ensured that the job site was clean (which is rare in the building world) and that the fireplace and exterior aesthetic looked great. They will be back to perform the final completion of the fireplace once we are about to move in. If you are in need of anything related to a fireplace purchase, installation, maintenance, etc., I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you a million to American Chimney!!!!!!!
Mark Danner rated it 5/5: This review is for the outstanding work performed by American Chimney & Masonry who provided the Vermont Castings Wood stove as well as the installation, B&D Enterprise Services LLC who performed the drywall reconstruction and painting and Raymond McCormick who did the brickwork.
We started out with a natural gas guzzling wood stove from 2004 which can be viewed in Photo #1 and with natural gas prices at all time highs decided to convert to an efficient wood burning stove. After calling over a dozen local construction companies I did the tear out myself as you can see in Photo #2. I really wasn't sure I was going to be able to find anyone to do the reconstruction until I found B&D Enterprise Services who did an excellent job. The result was simply outstanding as you can see in Photo #3. The stove is super efficient, the installation excellent and the reconstruction superb. Can't say enough good about these companies. We've already tried out the stove and I suspect will be using very little natural gas this winter.

They worked hard to find the problems and fix them in spite of needing old parts. I could tell that the fix was frustrating for them, but they persevered. They even installed a remote starter for me. rita campbell rated it 1/5: This business has tanked! They came in pulled my carpet back and brought in huge “ air dehumidifiers “. He said he didn’t have fans. I told him I did. The noise from the machine was intolerable and it wasn’t working well anyway. He said it might take 4-5 days to dry the carpet. The carpet was not that wet. So I moved the demudifyier and put down fans. It was dry the next day! They never returned to replace the carpet pad etc. they won’t even answer my calls. I won’t ever use Sooner Carpet again. Lousy company.
