The first home he inspected he found several serious issues we had not seen and wouldn’t have found out until costly repairs became necessary.
Amongst many more issues the roof was decked with less than code thick plywood causing it to bow when walked on, and the main gas line meter was left in front of the garage after an addition leaving it in line to be knocked by a vehicle. We backed out of the first home and recovered our deposit because of the issues Greg had found. The amount of repairs urgently necessary could have easily reached $50k in a short period and would have been economically crippling to first time home owners.
We purchased another home after an inspection from Greg found it to be in far better condition and we couldn’t be happier. Thanks again Greg.

and honest. I was pleased with the good communication throughout the process. The work was completed within a few days of me accepting his proposal. Quality work done at a fair price. Work area cleaned up afterward. I went up on roof and did a test of the repaired area with the hose for 20 minutes and was unable to recreate the leak so very happy with the fix. Will use them for future projects.

Tammy S rated it 5/5: Excellent Experience! Brian arrived a little early and took the time to explain the process and discuss an accurate price up front. He was knowledgeable and efficient, done with my sweep in less than an hour. He was also very clean and there was no sign of him or the work he completed once he was finished. This is the second time I’ve used Alpine Chimney Sweep and it wont be the last!!

I was moving from my house and one of the items on the inspection list for the new buyers was an inspection of the chimney to ensure it was operating safely. One of the companies that came out knowing it was a pending sale overcharged citing some work that did not need to be done and overcharged for the work that did need to be done throwing a huge wrench in the sale of my home. The owner of Alpine Chimney, Janie Rickford, Came in to inspect the chimney and put in a bid that was about 35% less than the other company River city chimney. It really saved the sale of my house. She could’ve charged just a little bit less than the other people but she was honest and does business the right way.

Janie helped us choose the best design, did the perfect install, checked up on us about one month later, and made a free house call to help us remember how to wipe down the inner glass. We love the insert more than we had even hoped and Alpine made it happen.

She has done a variety of jobs all which surpass my expectations. Once you need a fireplace company do NOT look any further, Alpine Chimney is the best! Today, she had Cory assisting and it is evident she hires those who know their job! Thank you for a job well done!
