They came in got the job done, job done, asked if we needed anything explained- cleaned up and were gone. My only concern is with the 2-5pm arrival window SS makes you schedule with!! Seems like with todays technology, they could do better.

One week before, we had a supposedly ‘Green/Eco’ company come out. They said they could not guarantee that they could be cleaned, at all. We let them try in one room. They left the carpet just as filthy, but now it was soaking wet, as well.
These guys from Stanley Steemer got the heavily soiled high traffic areas and every single old stain from pets and spills, COMPLETELY clean. It has now been left to dry for 24 hours and even our oldest carpet, of the two rooms, looks completely clean everywhere and there is no reappearance of the dirt or stains.
We are thrilled with the outcome and would not hesitate to call Stanley Steemer for my carpet cleaning needs in the future. Thank you!!!

Two cleaners showed up on time and cleaned the apartment thoroughly and carefully. They even happily cleaned a small back porch area without pushing for extra payment (it's a very small apartment to begin with).

Would definitely use them again. It would be great if there was an easy way to tip your cleaners via a link or Venmo or something since often times you aren't there when they finish a cleaning.

We had a couple minor issues with the initial cleaning leaving a few spots dirty (and staff blaming it on the fact that we had pets ) and cleaners coming late. They changed our cleaning team after this first round based on our feedback and they have been more thorough and have done a great job. The staff is quick to respond to questions and helped us reschedule our cleaning on short notice when we were sick. Overall would recommend– good price for a great maintenance monthly cleaning.

We were quite satisfied with the cleaning. The worker spoke very little English, but we were able to communicate with Google Translate.
Before the worker arrived we made sure all horizontal surfaces were clear of any toys, papers or miscellaneous items. And we did the same with the kitchen counters and in the bathrooms.
I think this made the worker's job easier and helped with our satisfaction.

lissa healy rated it 4/5: Update: They reached out to me on Monday, just as they said they would, and have helped figure out a way to refund the cleanings I wasn't aware I was paying for, despite the length of time that had passed. I appreciate their creative problem solving, and their responsiveness. I've changed my rating to reflect this. Minus one star because we couldn't figure out why my cleaning got changed originally. But had I checked more diligently and followed up more quickly it would have been easier for everyone.
Original review: 2 stars for ease of booking and the fact that the cleaners always arrived within the time they said they would, with no issues.

My issue is that I was unknowingly paying for deep cleaning for months, when I only wanted basic cleaning, and was in fact forgiving some cleaning oversights (dirty/sticky floors mostly) due to the fact that I had emailed them specifically saying I wanted to switch to a basic cleaning ongoing, and they had confirmed they would do so. When I raised the issue to them they asked to see pictures of the issues, but did nothing to address the rest of it.

I cannot see the difference between the deep clean vs. basic clean on their website, so maybe my standards are different from what they commit to. But the deep clean was very expensive for very inconsistent quality.

Phylicia Grace rated it 4/5: Two people came by and got started right away. They wore shoe covers inside, as requested, and made it work when we asked them to use the rear stairs instead of the front entrance. They did exterior windows only – in the case of the glass walls on the exterior balcony, was interpreted as only the outward-facing side of the glass, which was a bit frustrating. The skylights weren't on the initial order but they were very accommodating and added them for us on-site.
They did a fine job, and where we pointed out residual sap or streaks, they re-did the entire window to ensure it was clean. They even re-did some that ended up being an issue with the window. There was one window that was difficult to reach and he tried from inside and outside the building – I appreciated the time and effort he spent on this, but would have preferred it if he'd come to us and said that it was simply too difficult to clean, instead of leaving it streaked without saying anything about it.
When he was done I noticed two windows that hadn't been cleaned at all because there were screens in the way. One of them had left without reminding us to remove the screens and they would have gone untouched if we hadn't noticed.
We received a call from their office questioning why the cleaner needed more time and why he was re-doing some windows.

Pros: Decent value, hard workers who will put in the additional time/effort if asked
Cons: Communication could be better; check the work before they leave
Allen Beaney rated it 1/5: I was very sick on July 18, 2022 when the cleaning people came and I was to inspect the work I needed and when I started feeling better I realized they had done the worst cleaning I've ever had done and I have used a service once being disabled I could have done a I could have done a better job if light cleaning instead of deep cleaning that was what was needed and when I complained I was shut down because I was told I waited to long because of being sick.
Worst cleaning experience ever do not use them.

Scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling appointments is pretty stress free. The staff is very responsive to client communication and responds to emails very quickly. In my experience, the agency does a great job of screening its cleaners. I've had two different cleaners over five years, Davina and now, Flavia, both of whom were great and did very thorough work.

Equally important as their cleaning abilities, is the fact that I felt comfortable leaving them alone in my home. I have some rare and fragile artwork and a kitty that gets into trouble when she can. It's a big relief knowing that I can come back to a clean apartment with everything safe and sound.

We live in lower income housing and are waiting for help from the city for worker to clean weekly for us. We've been waiting two months so naturally our apartment was very dirty, and they cleaned for us for free as a one time favor, just to be kind and help us! I can't tell you how APPRECIATIVE we are and how nice it is. This company cares about it's community members! Monica did an EXCELLENT JOB cleaning our apartment! She worked quickly and proficiently and my apartment looks amazing and smells wonderful! Thank you Sunshine Cleaning Company! 10/10 recommend!

Kini Weaver rated it 1/5: We used this service twice. The first time, we felt satisfied with the work they did for the price so we decided to book them again. After they left the second time, we noticed our toilet draining a little slowly. We thought nothing of it and went along with our day. Unfortunately, the next time we flushed it, it overflowed! We called an emergency plumber who fished out what appeared to be a sponge (picture attached). We have NEVER flushed a sponge down our own toilet, and no one had visited our house in over a month, so the only explanation was the cleaners had flushed some of their products. We reached out to the owner to see if we could get the emergency plumber covered or even refund the cleaning services. The owner got defensive and asked if we had proof of the cleaners flushing things. He basically said that without photo evidence, he would not believe us or honor our request. After going back and forth for a bit, they continued to deny any wrongdoing and refused to even partially refund us (despite their satisfaction guarantee). Do NOT USE this company!

courtney s rated it 5/5: We had a GREAT experience with Cappstone! They were super responsive – the rep came out to give me a quote the same week I inquired about their services. The quality was great. Let me tell you, our offices are OLD and probably never deep cleaned. Cappstone was able to get us to a normal cleanliness level after just one cleaning, and I didn't see anything really missed. I thought the value was good too. I will definitely keep them in mind for annual cleaning at our annexes.
