U R rated it 1/5: UPDATE – i personally unscrewed the traps and found all toothbrush covers and replaced traps with no leaks. Took me 15 minutes (vs. the 2 hours i was quoted). I also found a replacement drain cover ($22 on Amazon). Solved my own problem. I would have been happy to pay Baker Brothers if they were just genuine and honest. $800+ quote for 2 hours of work to clear two drains is INSANE. Like i said, take your business elsewhere.

I had a technician named James come out today with Baker Brothers and had him look at our master bathroom double sink vanity. We had to remove our pop up covers and need them replaced but unfortunately until we found a replacement we accidentally dropped 3 plastic toothbrush covers down the drain. I was looking to have plumber remove traps grab them and reattach and if possible provide us with new pop up covers (which the dispatch said they could definitely do). James came out and shared that plumbing was done incorrectly and that we should have the whole thing gutted and redone. Well we've lived here 3+ years and prior owners never had any issues, were good, we just need the plastic covers removed and new covers. Well James spent an extra 30 minutes sitting down writing up crazy quotes for stuff I continually told him we weren't interested in. He wanted to charge us a minimum of $800 to remove traps, snake the drains, and reattach. I said "well if we remove traps and find three plastic covers, there is no need to snake the drain" and James replied by saying "No, I do the job the right way, I'm not a handyman". So when does fixing the problem I am looking to fix turn into a job that you want to do that adds no value to me as a customer. I understand there is no warranty on customer owned parts, and that it may leak, I'm not asking you to snake the pipes or install new pipes…! James had some serious attitude and even after repeatedly telling him we are not going to repipe or do any extra work he sat in our bathroom writing up pointless quotes for $2,400+ because he said he had to give us those quotes.

I text the same photo attached to this review to my uncle in CT who is a licensed plumber and he advised it should take 30 minutes to remove the two traps and put them back on. Why is James quoting me 2 hours and $800 minimum. This guy was extremely unprofessional and unethical and I do not plan on giving any business to Baker Brothers down the road.

He is professional and kept me informed as to what he was doing throughout his day. Although there was a minor mistake in cutting the fiber optic line, all worked out well. He contacted Frontier and opened up a ticket for them to replace the line. They also will pay for the repair, which is what is expected. We'll continue to use them for service.

This is my new 50AMP Autel EV Charger hard wired by W3 Electric! It’s like my own personal gas station right here at the house! The charger can add 45mph back to the Bolt battery. The station is connected to the home Wi-Fi network, so it also has an awesome app that can let me track progress and see data.
I can now report that “filling up” the car costs exactly $4.30. Since the bolt can travel 265 miles on a full charge, and gas is $2.95 a gallon, that means my car is getting an equivalent of “180 Miles Per Gallon”. For the cost of a single gallon of gas, my car can travel 180 miles.

I don’t care who you are, that’s serious math you can’t dismiss.

My other favorite feature about this charger is that you can remotely control the amp output from 1-50 with a digital modulator inside the app. In this way you can slow down the charge rate if you wanted to lessen the load on the car. Just depends how fast you need to be back at 100%.

It won’t be long I’d imagine before hotels, Air B&B’s and even restaurants market “we have a level 2 charging station here for your convenience” as a way to entice customers. Crazy stuff.

On Dave's first visit for a minor electrical issue, we asked him about our reassessed lighting, which constantly had burnt-out bulbs. A previous electrician had quoted over 2 thousand dollars to switch them out to LEDs, but Dave showed us how we could easily do it ourselves. We did, and haven't had to change a bulb since. How many electricians try to save you money?
I only wish I had known earlier that Dave also did HVAC. He fixed our mini-split in the garage (both the power and the refrigerant level), and last week when our main indoor unit went out (and our house was at 90+ degrees), he interrupted his big job in Fort Worth and drove all the way to Dallas to help us out and get it running again.

We are so grateful to Dave and his team. Also a special thanks to Ally who does the scheduling. I can tell she is always super busy but she is consistently very professional and helpful.

A design-and-build firm remodeled our primary residence but left several finishing touches undone… So, we called Dave to finish the job and gave him a long list of things that we wanted changed (sockets moved to accessible locations, dimmers, more outdoor outlets, remote controls for lamps, etc). He worked with us to find the most cost-efficient ways to make the changes and in the end charged us about 1/3 less than his original estimate.

Technician attempted to charge an extra amount to install the heat pump because he said it was a difficult install. I stated that the install was included in the hourly charge and he agreed and gladly readjusted he invoice to the proper charge. I believe the charge was in error.
Would I use the company again? I would say yes! Just watch how you are charged. Very good company to work with as they service all types of appliances.

ScagJag_FtypeR rated it 5/5: We had the pleasure of having Jack do some work in our pantry. We had a wall covered in tile that needed to be removed in order for a cabinet system to be installed. For beginners I completely misjudged the how complex this was, however Jack made it work. From grabbing extra paint to having to completely redo the entire drywall Jack handled it all. Jack showed up on time, had no problem getting along with 3 dogs and was excellent at what needed to be done. I wouldn’t hesitate to have him back out to help me with any future projects I have.

But reading the reviews about Steve and his crew set my mind at ease. Then there is Jheri in the front office that handles all the scheduling and communication. She is just fantastic to work with. We could not be happier with the work and the entire experience. We will return to Ace for ALL future work.

I had no idea what I was doing or what I needed and made it all seamless. The project was a heavy lift but his attitude and personality made it go by fast. I need a life saver and he was it. New door is in and looks good. The process would have gone faster but I did not have the materials needed but he went and got everything.

Steve and Michelle were great. They were punctual, courteous and patient.

I needed a lot of interior caulking done due to home shifting, and I thought it might take a few hours, but Steve showed up on time and got it all done much faster than I expected. Quality of the work was good as well. I will ask to have him again for more caulking in the future.
