Most either pressured for a 'quick decision' before the "special pricing" expired, or they sent someone who couldn't answer some simple but important A/C questions. Acree was different. The sales rep–Marcus–knew his stuff, quoted two options, no pressure. They were willing to negotiate a few line items at our request. They installed two days later on a Saturday. The installers were on time, polite, professional, protected our home, cleaned up everything, and made sure a couple items missed on work order got followed up on and completed within 2 days. Love our new system– fast, efficient cooling, compact size (variable speed side discharge) and extremely quiet! We know we're ready for summer and that our new system will be well-cared for by Acree in the years to come!

  • Nicholas Acosta rated it 1/5: Since our duct work install our air handler has had condensation dripping all over my 2022 jeep gladiator with the glue from the air duct box dripping over my jeep tire/rim and splashing up the side. The install guy said that it wasn’t a big deal. I mean we pay $19 a month to be a customer member and my valid concerns are never treated seriously or urgently. They say how great they are in their ads but it’s not true. They always seem in a hurry to get out of here.
  • YFHC rated it 1/5: We had Acree come to our practice in Nov to help with toilets that were backed up. All though the representatives that came out were very nice they damaged our toilets and floors when trying to work on the backed up toilets.
    They also pulled up the wrong toilet to begin with and in that bathroom it created such a mess and over flow into our IV area where patients are getting treatments. The smell and the water was unbearable!
    Then they pulled up the correct lead toilet and proceeded to do the same thing with that one. This created the same problem on the other side of our clinic with overflow and smell.
    I am now paying to replace the two toilets, you can see from the pics that the snake scratched both toilets. I am also paying to replace the flooring the was scratched up in the one bathroom by the snake being dragged on the floor improperly.
    I have also paid for the carpets and floors to be cleaned and sanitized.
    Acree gave me a refund on the initial cost of the service and nothing else. Even though a supervisor came out and admitted they did all the damage and said he wants to make it right. This was ONLY if we let them come out and do more work they planned to give us more credit. I'm beside myself would not recommend using Acree for ANY plumbing needs. As I do not think this is their specialty.

    I chose Acree because of their size and number of positive reviews. My experience was not positive. Their plumber installed the valves wrong and now it will take $2,000 plus to fix.

    We were updating our master bathroom shower when I needed a plumber to replace the Moen faucet cartridges. At most a $300 dollar job.

    Their plumber lied to me telling me he was installing $450 shower valves that were only $118 at Lowes.

    He took advantage of me by telling me he couldn't just change the Moen valve cartridges because they were too old. Charged me $850 per valve even though the wall was open providing him easy access.

    My mistake in accepting because the tile contractor couldn't go further without the valves being changed. I was upcharge by the tile contractor because the plumber installed the valves wrong and had one sticking out more than the other. The contractor had to wait a day to finish the tile work while the plumber came back to fix the valves.

    I remarked to the plumber that now the valves seem to be too close to the surface. He told me that the adjustment on the handle would make up for the distance.

    After the tile was installed note the picture on how far the handles stick out and one is slanted or not level.

    Acree sent out another plumber who was sympathetic but said nothing could be done short of tearing out the tiel and redoing the valves. He did act surprise when I told him how much I was charged for the two valves.

    He told me someone from Acree would call.

    Another plumber told me it should have been no more than $450 per valve including the hardware?

    Several weeks later no call. I called and they sent out yet another plumber. This one agreed that that it was done wrong and tried different Moen trim to see if it would look better. It looked a little better but it was the old style trim that we were trying to upgrade.

    He told me a supervisor would have to come out because it was above his pay grade.

    Supervisor comes out and agrees that it needed fixed but it would have to be approved by "management". They would call me.

    Still no call.

    My estimated repairs from the tile contractor is $1,700 for tearing out the wall and redoing the tile if he could find the tile.
    The price is high because he could just cut out a section of the penny tile. He would have to do the whole wall all the way around the pillar!..cost of tile est. $550.

    Plus the cost of another plumber to reposition the valves correctly.

Once they arrived they said it would be $564 to replace this! Outrageous prices and they said they'd send a detailed statement (bill was paid in full) then statement never showed up. Supervisor still has yet to call me back and the tech said no problem on the breakdown then goes back on his word and said they can't do that!! $564 to replace 2 elbows and you can't break down service call, parts and labor?? Run from this company

He not only provided excellent advice but he also took the time to answer all of our questions in terms we could understand. He promoted And Services in a way where we could not say NO to purchasing a new air conditioner system, keeping in mind our current complete system is only 17 months old and had a large leak!!     11/29/21 – I am simply disgusted with the way And Services has treated my parents. They are senior citizens and honorably served this country as members of the Armed Forces. They were quoted $7K to repipe the plumbing in the house. The Salesperson, John, who came out to quote the job never left instructions on how to prepare for the service crew. Instead, we made sure every cabinet with plumbing was emptied. Apparently, the service crew was unaware that no instructions were left. This set the tone for the entire job. The rude conversation and behavior from the contractors in my parent’s home was appalling, and the contractors caused unnecessary damage to the property for the rest of the 3 days they were here. The crew ripped, pulled, and literally dumped; medicine cabinets, shower tile, bedroom closets, and other places where there were no pipes and no services completed. Huge holes were left in the walls all around the house (see pics- unbelievable).
    The salesperson also said that once the work was inspected by the county the drywall repairs/patches would be completed within 2 or 3 days from the inspection. It's been substantially longer than that…
    There was management intervention for a proposed (unacceptable) external plastic tubing from the main water supply to the attic (it appeared as fragile as a garden hose and homemade). The crew seemed to respond to management (who had JFK embroidered on his shirt- otherwise no name, no card). For this reason, my parents felt comfortable paying the remainder of the balance prior to the crew returning for the cleanup job. The problem is, they have not returned and have not been willing to make an appointment. This morning, they advised my parents 'maybe next Tuesday' when asked when cleanup services and drywall repair would be completed.
    This experience makes it difficult to trust even the reputable businesses with payment prior to the work and clean-up.

    There are random holes in the ceiling, damage from them stepping through the ceiling from the attic, uncapped pipes coming in from the ceiling, pipes that are capped but not flush against the wall. We still have holes in the walls and NO appointment confirmation for a drywall patch/repair. See for yourself. Review the pictures of the 'finished work' to get a sense of why this experience has my parents and their entire family frustrated and disappointed. I am astonished that any company would treat any customer’s property this way, much less Senior military veterans. I’m also disappointed in the lack of professionalism we’ve experienced on an organizational level when we tried to resolve the issues we had with the contractors. Every part of this experience lacked professionalism and kooth Most of all, we want to make sure others do not share this experience. Especially our community seniors. We will take to social media and share by word of mouth, the problems experienced as well as the resolution.

The re pipe went well with a few issues, like the guys that did the work, threw away some parts that I had just purchased and installed, without asking me, which cost me $80 and we had to be put up in a hotel, because they cut an a/c wire and we had no a/c. To this day, I still haven't been reimbursed for the parts. Once the re pipe was done, it took numerous calls and weeks went by before Paul Casano, got in touch with me to schedule a city inspection. The inspection failed and they had to come back out to fix the issues, which finally passed. Now after this, AND had agreed to have their drywall guy, Alex with MR. 24/7 to come out and repair all the cutouts that were made to do the re pipe, at their expense. This was wrote in the contract by John Ritchie. As of today, July 31, 2022, the drywall cutouts are still there. No repairs have been made by Alex. I have called more than a dozen times. Christina, the one in charge to schedule this finally called me to let me know that Alex would be in touch. After several days, Alex finally called me on a Friday and told me he would call me that following Sunday to schedule a date and time to come out. That was a week ago. I have called Alex at least 6 times, texted 3 times and emailed once. No response back as of today. It has been over a week since he has contacted me from the first call. Every time I call AND and speak to someone , they say they will send an email to the one in charge to give me a call and that's where the ball gets dropped. AND has been paid in full for their services, but all of my services have yet to be completed. I guess the only thing left to do is maybe hire an attorney or get a hold of "Better call Behnken" Think twice before giving AND a call for your repair needs. I wish I did.

  • Anthony Grim rated it 1/5: This 1 year 3 month old system has had to be serviced 4 times. Today we are paying 300-400 to have refrigerant put in. Last year we had to pay for a compressor (it wasn’t covered). We have 4 children and it has been down a total of 11 days.

    They install the system, plaster their name all
    over it with stickers to calm them for service. We have their extended warranty but NOTHING we had fixed is covered.

    On top of the 7k install we are 1100 more on for service calls and repairs.

    Sure the techs are polite but the company is a massive issue. I deeply regret working with them. There are better options.

    Don’t be stuck like we are.

    PS we have spoke to their “customer service” and it’s just lead intake reps. They don’t derive anything they just schedule calls.

    It’s my deepest hope that no one else has to deal with these “professionals”.

Hoffman sent me an advance text with Ray’s picture and a mapping app so that I could see that he was on his way to my house- great use of technology. He did his company proud by trying to get me to buy replacement UV bulbs for the system that helps rid the air of mold and viruses. The bulbs are only a year old and I decided to wait a bit longer before replacing them mostly because I find Hoffman’s prices on the high side for parts and felt like I could get them replaced cheaper if I shopped around.

Fast response and quick long hrs to meet a short death line with a supportive pleasant kind attitude even were willing to wear mask to accommodate my illnesses and patiently explained all work to my wife with estimates and discounts, Then checked as they showed finished work and explained warranties and gave numbers to call in case of problem. We recommend them. And will call for future work.

    Problem now resolved. I grabbed my own ladder last night and climbed up to remove the ceiling fan cover to inspect. After a few easy adjustments I was able to reinstall the ceiling fan cover and the half inch gap no longer exists. Not sure what happened. We usually have great service from Brandon Electric. Maybe just caught a down service day.

I down graded to 3 stars because it took them 3 follow up trips to get my solar power system tied back in correctly and working. They had to hire an approved factory trained solar company to reconfigure the wiring for the solar panels to report my production and consumption correctly. I made it clear before they started work that I had rooftop solar.

  • Wendy Knafla rated it 1/5: It's been a while since these folks came out to our property but every time I pass by my outlets that they worked on, I'm tell myself to write a review. We called them for a couple of things: installation of outdoor outlets on 2 sides of the house and replacing a backyard landscaping outlet. The Electrician's name was Ryan and he brought a younger assistant. They did great on the on the outlets on 2 sides of the house. Although they did have it so that when one of these outlets tripped the circuit breaker, both outlets go out. This has proven to be highly inconvenient. Anyway, when they went to replace the landscaping outlet, the electrician told the younger guy to dig up the wire going out to it. He dug and dug (maybe too much). The end result was whoops, the wire going out to this is damaged and it will be $2000 or so to redo it. When was it damaged? Before or during the digging – I'll never know. We agreed to part ways with just the 2 side-of-house outlets done. Ryan and his helper asked if they could use the pool. Yes, you read that right. The next day, a whole room in our house lost power. We called and Ryan came right out. He went outside, removed something from the area leading to the underground wire, put it in his pocket and then charged us $800 or so to get the room turned back on. Anyway, I let this go at the time but I wish I hadn't. Since then we've installed security cameras that record so we have evidence of any "work" done outside of the house. I caution you with this company. Observe closely. On a side note we called Mr. Sparky for our next electrical needs and they were great. Up front pricing, no after-the-fact power loss and fair pricing.

I decided to call Aguila Electrical Services, that was the best decision I made. Manuel the owner, came over and did a temporary fix so we could have at least some lights and AC until the next day. Had a new unit purchased and installed and they missed over 5 obvious city checkpoints for a generic install. 5 OBVIOUS things…let’s just say my unit sits at like a 25 degree angle up on a flat roof. Hahaha ya how does that happen? Well it’s not flooding my entire house and they could care less. Asked me to hire a $1,000 legal inspector to assess who was wrong and the inspector said clearly them look at this pathetic install job. Now Joe Cool says nope I’m a liar and they will hire their own inspector. Riddle me this it’s been since June 1st install date and they can’t even do a good enough job to clear the permit. City is laughing at them but then they want to blame me for spending money for a new AC and I’m at fault. Joke of a company and management will cuss you out, call you bad names, smoke cigarettes in your driveway, tell you good luck to find someone else to fix my house, laugh at you with their team getting into the car and then speed off making rude remarks. Sad display of a business and I’ll get what I’m owed!! You’re lucky I can only add photos to this review because the videos would shock you. That’s if you actually send out a licensed AC guy to check on my unit instead of a guy who only works in plumbing hahahahahahahaha
  • Rich Schmid rated it 1/5: Very unhappy with my experience, and I'd caution everyone to find a company that is more experienced, and that returns your calls.

    We had them come out to repair a leak in a pipe that was under the edge of our driveway. Their quote went from ~400, to ~1300, to ~5000. They said that the entire pipe would have to be re-ran from the main city line up to our house, including all the baggage that comes with digging up your yard and landscaping. They had tried a whole 15 minutes to repair the leak but quickly resorted to the $5,000 quote and a new pipe altogether.

    Being the quote was ridiculously high, we got a 2nd opinion. The more-experienced plumber fixed it in less than an hour, and charged us $400.

    Since then, we've been leaving messages each day asking for a refund for what we've already paid them. All they've done for us is cut a hole in our driveway, and leave a thick layer of dust all over our entire garage. (Yes, they left the garage open while jackhammering the driveway, as we were away from the house.)

    Joe Cool, please return our calls and give us our $1,300 back.

    UPDATE1: A week later since I've written this review, and nothing has changed. I continue to leave a message every day, but hear nothing back.

    UPDATE2: Finally, a month and a week of calling and emailing and waiting, we finally received a check for about a third of what we've paid them, for doing absolutely nothing except jackhammer a hole in our drive way, leave us a huge mess, and give record-levels of poor customer service. We had to pay a separate plumber to do their job right. They are a huge disappointment.
