They arranged for someone to come out that same day and took care of the plumbing issue in under an hour or two. Their technicians were simply fantastic. The two handywomen that arrived were knowledgeable, super friendly, and professional. They addresses the problem, communicated with us at every step, and replaced the leaky pipes in a timely manner.

It’s worth noting that Fixer’s prices were very reasonable. No question, we will use them again for future home repairs based on how easy and simple it was to book. This is a great service when you have a handful of small items you need knocked off your list. We would certainly use Ace again.

Rick Bonoan rated it 5/5: We hired Handico to help us with our kitchen renovation (just completed in May 2021) for the demolition part. (The company we bought cabinets and countertops from only does installs). This our third time working with Handico for different household repairs/projects. The previous two times turned out great, so we had no hesitation calling them for this job.
Working with Joe to set up the dates and the work to be done was easy… all over the phone, with some images shared via email. Since Handico works on a time-and-material basis (ie hourly rate), it really makes arranging the work so much easier (in my opinion, anyway).
We needed the following done: (1) Take down and remove all existing cabinets and counter tops, (2) remove the soffit that the upper cabinets were anchored to, (3) patch-up where the soffit used to be, and other areas as needed, (4) relocate electrical outlets for the range and Microwave hood, (5) hook up new plumbing to the new sink. Joe was very keen to our needs; he even sent one of his guys over to check the soffit as an “advance scout” to eliminate any surprises and secrets the soffit may be hiding (it turned out to be empty). Joe also requested the drawings and spec sheet of our new kitchen provided by the cabinet company to ensure that the area is properly prepped. He definitely knew what needed to be done.
The work: Joe sent Luis to tackle the job. While a 2nd guy came aboard to help with the demo, Luis was clearly the guy in charge. Luis was very professional and he knows his trade very very well. I’ll try to attach some pictures to show what was done. Whenever possible, Luis would ask what needed to be asked. When necessary, Luis would pull me aside and explain what he needed to do. And when I wasn’t catching on, Luis was also very patient with me. I did my best to stay out of his way.
In the end, Luis and Handico left the site how it needed to be. The day after, our Cabinets were installed uneventfully. Not a single complaint from the installers. The upper cabinets were mounted where the soffit used to be. Base cabinets were put in. All cabinets were cut out for new plumbing and outlets; perfectly placed by Luis the day before. Aside from the fact that we discovered my walls aren’t square (typical for a home built in 1949), the whole project went without a hitch. Luis did come back to finish the plumbing after the sink and countertops were put in. Handico delievered!
This was definitely a big job. While I can’t say it was stress-free (hey, it’s still a kitchen reno), I couldn’t be any happier on the end result. And without Handico, it wouldn’t have turned out the way it did. We will hire them again in the future.
Oh yeah, the Cabinet people were great, too… but that’s for a different review.

Meticulous repair, friendly and prompt pickup and deliver. Reasonably priced. Marcus is experienced and knowledgeable on repairing furniture. Highly recommended and would definitely go to again! Including before and after repair photos.

Marcus reassured it would look good as new. Let me tell you…. It looked better than new! They were able to refinish the top of the table with the exact color match but make it more durable for us. Quick and easy turnaround, and affordable compared to other quotes we received. We will be using Easy Does Furniture repair it in the future. See before and after photos! Amazed with the finished product!

I got a text in few minutes after submitting the inquiry and then received a call to discuss the details. Emailed them the photos and the work required and they shared the quote – I found the quote pretty reasonable. They visited us the very next day and completed the work. So overall I had an amazing experience working with Hammer & Tool. Highly recommended.
Shakeel Syed rated it 2/5: I hired this company to perform several jobs in my home but end up cancelling several requests due to unreliable pricing and unskilled handy men they employ. Handy man service provided was at best subpar. Price quoted was changed several times even though the request was clear. One price was quoted for installing ceiling fan outlet that later on changed to be doubled after the installation was completed from $150 to $300. This show the lack of communication between handy man who came and the management staff. Also, I specifically requested a quote for installing 2 bidets but management told me later that he thought he was giving me price for one again doubling their price from $400 to $800. Luckily, I noticed the pattern and cancelled that request. Only reason I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because of Josh, who replaced our storm door and seemed to know what he was doing.
This company gives bad name to several good and hard working handyman servicers.

Delivery day was smooth. Matt and his team member did a great job being careful with my floors and furniture, as well as with the bed pieces and the installation. Overall very happy with BIG Helpers. Will be looking for other opportunities to use their services.
