The repair is such that if you asked someone to pick out the previously broken leg, they wouldn’t be able to pick it out. Same goes for damage to an upholstered chair, an end table, and a leather recliner. And they went above and beyond to get the upholstered chair through an awkwardly placed and sized door to our bedroom. Their turn around was very good and their price extremely reasonable. I highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of furniture repairs.

This work required the set up of a 18 feet scaffolding, and removal of the heavy drapes, sheer and drapery box. Jesse and Nick were both very professional and skillful in doing their job. They were courteous and approachable. They were also very careful in protecting the wood floor, the walls and window during the whole process. The work was completed timely and without delay. The removed drapes and accessories were hauled away for dumpster per owner’s request. The office coordinator Holley was very efficient, effective and courteous. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work performed. This was my second service provided by ACE Handyman Services.

I had bought an old table that had a lovely alternating wood color pattern, with a lot of scratches and nicks from years of wear and tear. The first vendor I tried returned the table in worse shape – the surface finish was thick, streaky, too shiny, and was always sticky. The wood pattern was totally hidden with dark streaks.I found Furniture Refinishing and William called me the next day after sending in an email with my pictures. The estimate was reasonable for a professional company. I got the table plus two leaves re-done. The process took a few more weeks than estimated to complete due to rain. When I got the table and leaves back though, WOW! I was so impressed. No lie, the table looks like a brand new piece from Gallery Furniture. William was able to remove all traces of the botched job and restore the beautiful wood pattern. The surface is perfectly smooth and durable. I requested the table to be lowered 1 inch and that was done perfectly as well.
Long story short, I am a very happy customer and am glad I found this company. Just be flexible and don’t rush them so they can do their good work properly. Whatever estimate they give you, account for at least an extra month because of bad weather or other unexpected things getting in the way – that’s just the nature with this kind of work and living in Houston.

My kids and dogs had managed to put a large scratch on the top of our 8 person dining table that I purchased from Restoration Hardware less than a year earlier. William from Furniture Refinishing was really knowledgeable and was able to refinish the table top to with a very similar shade and look, eliminating the scratch and also making the table much more scratch resistant for the future. He made the service very easy transporting the table to and from his shop. We are very happy with the result!

I hired them to disassemble and break down an old bed frame (and take it away), assemble a new bed frame (and place my mattress back on top of the frame) for a new frame I had purchased, remove a large old chest of drawers to make room for a new one I had purchased and hang a large mirror on the outside of my closet door. They completed the work in about 1 hour and cleaned up the areas they worked in and took away the old items. I could not be more pleased.

He explained that they had a handyman for almost anything and many of them were tradesmen who were semi retired or working independently. He was right. A very skilled technician showed up and fixed the leak I had and charged me a very reasonable fee. They also guarantee their work. I will call them again for anything that needs fixing. When we need handyman services for our Houston office building we rely on T&Z All Services exclusively for all repairs. We have worked with HIS for well over 5 years and while it has not been perfect at every installation, they always work diligently with us to make it right for us and our customer. Over the years, we have built a wonderful relationship with the team over there! The warehouse/receiving team is great as they are thorough with their notations of items they receive and store in their facility for our jobs, notifying us of any missing or damaged items as soon as possible. Debbie Harbison, who I work directly with on all of our jobs, is beyond AMAZING! She is diligent in looking things over and making sure she and her team have everything covered the best they can before the job is sent out for installation. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in our industry!
