We had him come in to add a few boxes for various light fixtures around the house, and one light he moved over for us within the room. He took his time, and he kept me involved in the decision making process which I really appreciated! Even after staying longer than I’m sure he planned, he ended up installing one of the light fixtures for us because we didn’t have the right tools. He did a fantastic job, and we will surely have him back in the future!

Daegan came out to diagnose the issue and came back the next week to complete the work. He was extremely quick with the repairs and even noticed we had a loose doorknob and unprompted just fixed it real quick. Their tech called and let me know he could come earlier and wanted to know if we could accommodate. I said that we could and a few minutes later received another text with a picture of the employee, Pete, that was coming, along with some of their hobbies. Very cool. When Pete arrived, he was very courteous, respectful, knowledgeable and willing to help and answer all our questions. Pete recommended a few options, we chose the best one for our needs and Pete got to to work removing our old water heater and installing a new one. From the time I called to the time Pete finished was approximately 4 hours. Their price was comparable with other plumbing companies and Pete’s expertise and attitude put them on top, even though they were $100-$200 more than the other company. Very satisfied with our decision to use Michael and Sons.

Anonymous rated it 5/5: I hired Finish pros to Paint a King 80 year old French Headboard which I bought on eBay and had shipped down from New Jersey. The Headboard was gorgeous but it had cracks the size of the width of the Mississippi. It had also been shabby chic chalked painted with some nasty yucky white chalk paint. Nuf said.They came to my house and picked up the Headboard for a fee (because it was too large to fit in my car). They worked on it for 5 weeks. They STRIPPED the paint off the headboard, sanded the headboard and filled in the cracks and repainted the headboard the most amazing color yellow. See attached original photo, stripping photo and final product. They did an amazing job. I am super super pleased and will have this headboard for many years to come.

I chose him because of the good reviews he had and because of the descriptions of items he can restore. Even though he services his current clients and repeat customers first, he was able to get me an appointment within a short time period. I sent him pictures of my cracked sconce light, so he could get an idea of what the damage was. I dropped it off, and Jeff explained a couple of options for the best way to fix the crack. I picked it up a couple weeks later, and it should be ready for hanging. Before Jeff worked on it, the crack was half way across the fixture, and it looked like it would break if we hung it. He was able to reinforce the crack from both sides, so now I feel comfortable hanging it on the wall. When I went back to pick up the light, I took in another glass globe that had a chip in it. Jeff saw that it was only some paint that was missing, and he gladly put a dab of paint on the spot. When we hung the light back up, the ‘chip’ was gone, and it looked like new. I highly recommend Jeff for his expertise with his craft, his communication with me during the process, and his friendliness. I am very happy with the work he did for me, and I will certainly go back to him if I need more repairs.

Recently we had a burst pipe and needed our master bathroom to be completely re-done and some additional work done in the master bedroom and powder room. Allen and Tabitha quickly fit us into their schedule and managed to ensure we had all of the repairs done in time for our hosting some wedding events for our daughter. Allen was meticulous in his work; re-building the floor, replacing the tile, installing the cabinets and new dry wall for the soaking tub. They work as a team with Tabitha connecting with the plumbers, the granite removal team and finding on short notice a quartz vendor to sell and install our new counter. We are so pleased with the results. Allen always works to make sure your living space is kept clean as the work progresses and he is patient with any challenges along the way. Paula rated it 5/5: I needed my backdoor replaced and my previous one had a wooden shutter attached that my dog had damaged years prior so I wasn’t sure how that could be reattached to a new door. Allen suggested the kind of door with the blinds between the glass, which I hadn’t even considered but went with on his recommendation. When the door came in, he picked it up from the store and installed it. The project was a little more involved than originally thought because of water damage to the frame but Allen went to the store that day to get the replacement wood. I really appreciated Allen’s attention to detail, knowledge and professionalism. I absolutely love my new door. There was an issue with the final cost due to the third-party transaction company but Tabitha, the office manager, was very easy to work with on a resolution. I highly recommend Six A’s. Very knowledgeable, professional and pricing very reasonable.

However, he forgot to come to the estimate visit until we called and was ultimately 6 hours late to that appointment. We agreed on a slight discount for that inconvenience. Then he completely missed the actual repair appointment the following week, and would not respond to phone calls. He ended up rescheduling for the next day, but not before the customer had waited around all day, frustrated and impatient. When asked for a further discount because of these latest inconveniences, Miguel refused.

Miguel’s lack of professionalism and good communication unnecessarily angered my customer and reflected poorly on our company. We will not be contacting him again for service and we recommend that you find someone else as well.

Told me how to fix it and didn’t want to charge me for their travel or 30 minutes they spent at our home – crawling behind washer, dryer and in the plumbing to look for leaks! You DON’T get more honest and experienced.
