Em Holmes rated it 3/5: UPDATE: Adam the owner got in contact with me the next day. He was very easy to talk to. He made arrangements to have a new crew come over and rouch up the areas of the home that the previous crew had done. Adam also thought it was unusual that the original crew had only done the downstairs over the course of 3 hours.
Shortly after the new crew arrived, they called their manager to ask to clean the entire house because it was obviously not cleaned right the first time. I really appreciated that they took that initiative and offered to do that! They made our house sparkling clean from top to bottom in under 3 hours. My only complaint is that they were rough on the hardwood with all their equipment. But other than that, sweet ladies who did a thorough job.

Even though it took two tries, I'm glad the situation was made right 👍🏼

Our typical cleaner was booked, so we gave Molly Maid a try.

After a 3 hour service, the team only got to half the house, and there's hardly a difference in the areas they did cover. I'm genuinely curious as to what they were doing during that time because our usual cleaners get to the whole house in less than 3 hours and for $100 cheaper.

I was very surprised that they only accomplished the downstairs, and it was a very poor job at that. There was lots of dirt that was still visible all over the floors, and items still full of dust. On top of that, the maids arrived smelling strongly of smoke and they left a foul dirty mop/rag smell that we spent the rest of the day trying to get out of the house.

I emailed photos and curious to see how management handles this quality of service.
Amanda rated it 2/5: Update (7/5): Adam (owner) contacted me over the weekend – by voicemail & email – to apologize for our experience and let us know he was aware of the situation. We arranged to speak today after we returned from a holiday weekend out of town. Adam was empathetic to our frustration and disappointment with our cleaning and especially the way I was treated by Maria, who made a not great situation worse.
It was clear after speaking with Adam that what we experienced is not the level of service his teams typically provide. Since the deep cleaning was not completed, he waived our cleaning fee. We appreciate Adam's understanding and his commitment to addressing our concerns. We are happy with our resolution and wish him and Molly Maid the best.

We had a TERRIBLE "deep cleaning" by Team 3 today (6/29). This was our first experience with Molly Maid, and we are no better off than before they came.

The team arrived 45 minutes past the quoted 4-hour arrival window (with notice) and left almost 30 minutes before spending the quoted deep cleaning time in our home.

We spent more time preparing for their arrival and cleaning up after them than they did "deep cleaning" our house. Now after nearly 2 hours of resetting my house, while 8.5 months pregnant, after it was "cleaned" I'm exhausted and frustrated. The point of hiring someone was so that my husband and I could get some much needed rest and enjoy a clean home before our baby arrives.

Since it was after the regular hours when I discovered they had "finished" cleaning and left (without telling us or gathering all of their supplies), I had to leave a voicemail and send an email to ask for a different team to make this right.

Update (6/30): Molly Maid returned my call and email first thing this morning and have scheduled a new team to come "re-clean" tomorrow morning. They apologized but did not seem to appreciate the frustration or importance of working around my work from home schedule.

Update (7/1): I was given an arrival window for the "re-clean" between 8 and 9:30 this morning. The team did not arrive by 9:30. I called and spoke with the "manager" Maria. She made it clear that Molly Maid doesn't care about following through on their commitments to their clients or making things right. Maria spoke over me, did not listen to my concerns, and hung up on me.

I could never recommend a company that cares so little about the quality of their services and treats their customers with such disrespect.

Recently purchased a house and paid for a deep cleaning to be done due to having exterminators come in to spray and survey the house, no furniture no nothing, just appliances in the house, paid for the “deep cleaning” package so that the next day we could move in after the clean. I was told they took 3hrs to do the cleaning and when I came in, it was exactly how the old owners left it. There was still a roach upside down in one of the bedrooms which was there 3 days before they came. There was footprints everywhere on the hardwood floors, a wet trash bag stain like someone dragged it it from the kitchen through the living room, one of my fixtures was broken and the lamp cover came down. I contacted them the same day and they said they would resend someone the next day available. Had to rescehdule my moving date in order for them to come back, and when they did I was here watching everything. They did a better job but not a “deep clean” as advertised, there is some things in the fridge that weren’t wiped down, the sink was still dirty, but that wasn’t too big of a deal, they were in and out within an hour. 2 days later I was charged for the full 3 hrs which I was told was the time it took for it to be done the first time. Called non stop, manager would not contact back, said she would check the car timer and get back to me, 2 weeks of waiting and still no call back, and the manager is always in a meeting. Heavily annoyed with the entire situation. Added pictures to show what 3 hrs of “deep clean’ consists of.

I thought hiring a cleaner for the New Year would relieve the stress of having to do it myself and give me more time to enjoy the holiday with family and friends. However, I was so wrong. I had my home cleaned on December 28th to start the cleaner arrived late to my home and took about 6 hours to clean and left the lingering smell of cigarettes throughout my home. The overall clean was not terrible but also was no better than the cleaning I can do on my own which was disappointing. The worst part of it all that made this experience HORRIFIC is that our stainless-steel oven was ruined. The cleaner used Easy Off which is intended for inside the stove on the exterior, and my entire stove has been discolored. I understand accidents happen, but this seems like basic common since. I would not be writing this review if the management of Cottage Care Cleaning was being prompt and doing the right thing of replacing the stove. However, I have spoken with Max the owner and he has been dragging his feet with an update or replacement. Max has suggested that we have the stove painted or if we had been in the market to purchase a new stove, we could split the price. Both options are absolutely absurd as our stove was in perfect condition prior to their employee ruining our stoves exterior. This just shows the integrity of this cleaning company. If you are in the market for a cleaning company, please research another company instead of this one. If you do not want to give yourself headache and have your property damaged, please use another company!!
I will update this review and let you know if this is worked out but as of right now nothing has been done.

April and Kierra did an awesome job cleaning our 6 bedroom house. They dusted, cleaned, swept, vacuumed, mopped, deep cleaned the kitchen appliances and bathrooms. I was impressed with the quality of their work and the little amount of time they took to do all of this. I would definitely highly recommend two maid and a mop and ask for April and Kierra to come to your house. They are very personable, easy to speak with and have great personalities. They even played with my daughter and allowed her to “help them” clean.

However, when I got home there was dust all over our bedroom furniture and the floors were not cleaned properly with dirt still in the corners. They offered to re clean but I did not respond timely enough (my son and his wife had their baby) so they offered a partial refund. I found this totally unacceptable I would have gladly taken the re-clean and possibly given them my business but to handle it this way and only offer a partial refund for a very poor job done just did not seem fair. I will take my business elsewhere.

As a household manager, I use them for multiple households including my own. Any questions or issue that have come up have been addressed quickly and thoroughly, often by Palash (the owner) himself. The staff are friendly, respectful and do a great job. I recommend the Organic Maids to everyone I know!
