I think the prices are fair, but I am not an expert in that respect. I recently purchased a new house that was very dirty from the previous owner. Deep Clean Kings sold me a "move-in" and "floors" package. The wood floors were way better after the machine cleaning, and the pet smell is mostly gone now. I did have a complaint about the quality of the cleaning in the bathrooms, but the manager came back the following Monday and made it right. I will be setting up monthly cleanings with them.

I just bought a new house and asked for a deep clean. The house is completely empty and in relatively clean condition to start. As you can see in the pictures, the manager first said $300 for 4 hours deep clean. We gave $50 down and then he asked for another $300, because it took about 4.5 hrs.
I did not keep track of time, I assumed the worker would finish the job in 4 hrs considering it was a COMPLETELY EMPTY house. He then charged ~$280 + $50 deposit which I agreed to since I didn't want to argue and would have respected an honest job.

After reviewing the work (images + many more things I didn't have the time to take pics of) it is clear the work was either lazy, not thorough, or rushed. This is surprising considering the house was COMPLETELY EMPTY and took a little over 4 hours to do. I don't understand how this is professional or honest.
I had to use MY OWN EQUIPMENT and clean up on my own to fix everything. I requested $100 back for the dishonest job and having to do my own cleaning despite hiring "professional cleaners" who are called "deep clean kings".

The owner PERSISTED ON NOT giving me any money back, and instead offered my a voucher. This is despite telling him multiple times I did not trust his services anymore and had to clean everything they missed myself. He did not listen to me explaining to him that it would take time out of my day and busy schedule with kids and work, to keep my doors open and allow them to do the job again that they should have done correctly the first time.
I even told him I didn't want any more money or less, just $100 for money they did not earn, but took dishonestly with an incomplete job, my waste of time, and resources.
HE DID NOT ANSWER.

With two cats, there was a lot of hair to clean in every nook and cranny. The fabric furniture was vacuumed very effectively and the glass shower doors were made sparkling clean. He wiped down most surfaces In the apartment and did a thorough mopping. They had to cancel the appointment twice, first because another job interfered and second because there was a family emergency emergency, but came through the following day.

We were relocating to the area and needed the house we were moving into, that had been sitting vacant for 2 years, deep cleaned before our arrival. My fiancee asked them to mop all the floors, clean the baseboards, inside cabinets/drawers, bathtub, sinks etc. A deep clean was what we thought we were receiving. Upon arrival at the home a few days later, we learned that this is not what we paid for. It seems as though only spot areas were cleaned. The baseboards hadn't been touched and the drawers were full of trash. I just finished mopping the kitchen floor and the amount of dirt in that mop bucket was insane! There is absolutely NO way that this company even went over the floor once. I found old pieces of food, rubber bands and miscellaneous debris that would have been picked up had they performed the service we paid for. I could go on about other frustrations but I feel like I've said enough. I, unfortunately, would not recommend them to anyone.

I called to schedule a cleaning for a new home I bought that I have not moved into, meaning I would need to make a trip out there to let them in to clean. I arrive at our scheduled time and no one shows up. After calling and texting multiple times, I get a text back saying they got behind and would have to come tomorrow. I explained again that I do not currently live here and therefore, I have to make a trip out here to let them in and just putting me off to the next day with zero notice is a total inconvenience. I agreed to do the cleaning the next day. I then get a text the next day that they may not come that day either and would have to come the next day. Due to other obligations I told them they can either come today or never and to please let me know by 4pm. They read my message and never respond. Absolutely useless and wasted my time.

The cleaner arrived with one dirty rag and a bottle of mystery fluid to clean my whole first floor. I asked her about a vacuum and she said Detroit Maid had given her one, but that it didn't work and she couldn't use it. (This was after I had been assured by Danielle on the phone that the cleaner would bring all supplies.) I offered her my own paper towel and other supplies, but she refused to use them.

She missed key areas like corners, baseboards, windowsills, and she did a sub-standard job in others. When I asked her to re-visit what she'd missed, her response was "No, I already did that." I felt insulted and frustrated in my own home, and completely taken advantage of by Detroit Maid.

After the cleaner left, I spoke to the owner, Danielle, and she assured me that I'd get a full refund for the service, plus a refund for a future service I'd pre-booked but cancelled given the circumstances. It's been nearly two weeks of phone calls, emails, texts, and still no refund or response.

It's embarrassing to admit this in a public forum like Google Reviews, but I feel like I've been conned for hundreds of dollars by Danielle and Detroit Maid. Please do not make the same mistake I did. Any cleaning service would be better.

She did issue a $50 credit but i would be a fool to give them another chance to stand me up. If your employee can’t make it, 4 days before Christmas, you find time to get your client in, after hours, before hours, as a business owner, I would’ve come and cleaned the home myself. This wasn’t even last holiday season, I just get so angry every time I think about it that I wanted to document it to spare anyone else from experiencing the same thing.

I purchased a gift certificate for a friend, but I would like a refund because I am embarrassed to recommend this service to anyone.

They quoted me $300 which I thought was astronomical but I had specific requests such as a wood top counter and corner dusting for pet hair removal. Additionally I wanted to support a female owned co-op.
They did a clean but nothing close to what I had requested and expected for $300. They did clean the stove and the fridge but again, it’s a 600 square foot efficiency. They didn’t remove pots and pans to clean drawers or dust behind the couch and left dog hair on the carpet, did not oil the two side tables and turned and left the heat on for the full week I was gone doubling our normal energy bill to name a few.

Maria was very prompt and professional in responding to my request to speak with her. When I relayed my disappointment and belief that this was not a deep clean nor worth $300 she responds that they performed their normal deep clean. She was straightforward and told me that two people had spent 3 hours, 6 man hours, on my apartment which calculates to $50/person/hour.

They come recommended and are a great organization to support. I would recommend getting at least one other quote and being very specific about your expectations for the fee and negotiating for what you feel is reasonable.
