They rescheduled with me four or five times, which resulted in them giving me a free clean, which was appreciated.
Yet, during my free clean, they didn’t clean my basement because I didn’t select it as an extra. In addition the most egregious thing is that they RUINED MY BRAND NEW HARDWOOD FLOORS.

I’m not sure what rose and her team did, but there are scratches upon scratches on my NEW hardwood floors. WHEN I RAISED THIS TO THEM THEY OFFERED ME COMPENSATION OF A FREE CLEAN. Are you kidding?! You ruined thousands of dollars of hardwood floors, won’t take responsibility and are offering me a free clean?!??

Try spekless or another company that has an easy interface to use, but is better quality, reliable and actually honest.

The first cleaner texted me to reschedule and it was inconvenient but I said okay. Then she canceled, allegedly sick but obviously had a conflict since she tried to push back my appointment.
They arranged another cleaner to come who barely did anything. No dusting, mopping, sink was still dirty. He liked stacked a few things in the storage room which I didn’t even expect to get cleaned which is why I blocked it off. There wasn’t even a clean smell like I’ve had from every other cleaner and from cleaning myself.

Then I ask for a partial refund and they say they want to send him out again. Like I’d let him in my apartment again.

Gretta Martinez rated it 1/5: I have used Think Maids for their cleaning services about 5 times now. While each cleaning has not been absolutely perfect, their personnel has done a good job of making me feel like I'm coming to a clean house.
HOWEVER, recently I had quite possibly the worst cleaning experience ever. The cleaner came without a vacuum (each previous time the cleaners have had a vacuum), a swiffer, broom, and some other miscellaneous items. When I asked why he didn't have a vacuum he said "we don't need one if there is no carpet"………..I took out my own vacuum but he didn't use it.

I came back when the cleaning was done to find my apartment feeling like, well, it wasn't cleaned at all. There was lint and dirt under the bed, and it wasn't just a small area, it was a good half of the space. The same under the couch. There were SHOE MARKS all over the floor. (Who doesn't take their shoes off or bring shoe covers?!) There was also some kind of yellowish gel on the floor (see photo) that honestly looked like snot. I passed a quick swiffer in the living room area and it came out dirty (see photo). The bathtub had also not been cleaned. I basically ended up having to clean up after the cleaning service.

When I texted the person that coordinated with me, she was unhelpful and unwilling to give me a full refund and offered to send the same cleaner back out (????). They ended up giving me a 30% discount – as if that makes things better after having to CLEAN UP after the cleaners.

After my experience today with a poor service and poor customer service, I will not be using this service again.

It was very expensive and they did not make the beds, did not wipe down the cabinets in the kitchen, did not wipe down our coffee tables, did not move anything out of the way for vacuuming (only vacuumed the easy to reach places), did not dust thoroughly, and did not wipe down several surfaces. The house smelled overwhelmingly like lemon pine sol but I don’t understand why as it doesn’t seem like much cleaning was done. They did do a good job on the master bathroom and cleaning the kitchen range, but we are otherwise disappointed for having paid over $400. Will not be using this service again.

The rates increased and our cleanings were not thorough. We also experienced two mishaps. The first issue was taken care of and the second issue was not. While online booking is convenient, the cleaning consistency is an issue since you never deal with the same house cleaners. The quality of service is just not the same as prior years. Ultimately, we have parted ways. I suspect the owner will reply to try and invalidate this honest and factual review.

The first incident was that they broke a picture frame above my bed. They did not call or leave me a note to notify me that the frame had been broken, but rather just left it for me to find. They did offer to replace the frame only after I reached out to them, but I got the frame a while ago and they were no longer being sold.
The second incident was that they locked my cat in the closet for the entire day without water or his litter box. I understand that mistakes happen, but when someone not only marks that they have a pet, but also pays extra for that pet, I feel like a little more care could be helpful. I reached out to them and they did not offer to waive the pet fee for this cleaning.
Their actual cleaning services are alright – not great, not terrible. There were definitely some spots that I had to touch up after they came. Their prices seem to be lower than many other cleaning companies which is why I didn’t really mind.

The service has been adequate (but never great and they’ve broken things) but then post-COVID, they started the practice of offering one price (an increased price) and then calling once the cleaners were at my home and saying it was going to take more time and therefore, cost more. The reviews about the price gouging are 100% true. You book for one price and then they call and say it will be more. If you decline, they ask your priorities and refuse to clean the whole house (which you thought you were getting when you booked the service). The final straw was they called and said that I had to pay $160 more for service when I had already agreed to pay $230. They told me I only agreed to pay for 2 hours but when I looked at my receipt, it said 4 hours and 45 minutes. The booking receipt they sent me told me the length of time and the amount. When they called, they told me the length of service was wrong and only for one person but they had sent two so I owed them for that. I refused. It’s a totally unethical, underhanded practice. There are multiple reviews about it and I wish I would’ve read them before today. The manager who I won’t name is awful. We ended up in a screaming match bc she told me “team” could mean “single person” and I should’ve known the receipt didn’t mean what it said.
Do not trust the quoted price. I also paid for a “deep cleaning” and no such cleaning was done. There are a ton of cleaning services. I would not use this one ever again.

Let me just say, if you’ve never lived through having portions of your concrete foundation jack-hammered up to reach pipes underneath, you have definitely missed a once in a lifetime adventure – and NOT of the good kind! There was dust and dirt everywhere. Cleaning it all up was not a task I cared to take on by myself. After doing some online research, I reached out to eMaids of DC. I explained exactly what I needed and why to Jasmine. She assured me eMaids could handle job, and they did! The team arrived right on time and went straight to work. It took a while because every surface had to be dealt with. But, when they were done, my house once again looked tidy and clean. With the exception of the holes in the floor – but that’s another story entirely. If you are looking to have a deep clean, I highly recommend eMaids.

The company sent different people each time, so i had to orient people to the space every time – once I wasn't able to show them around and they missed a bathroom. Their teams would come separately and each team member would call me (sometimes multiple times) to tell me they were on their way or late. The cost was very high ($325) and usually they rushed through and were in and out in a little more than an hour. So 160+/hour per person seems really high to me. Quality was just ok.

Removal of return vent resulted in newly painted wall being scratched as well. Wouldn't recommend.

The rep informed me that the average 1bed/1ba would be ~$125 (understanding that this was an estimate); however we were billed almost double for poor quality work. The 2 ladies spent 3.5 hours in an EMPTY condo, yet the results were HORRIBLE! Absolute lack of detail! The manager offered to send another crew to redo the work; however when I tried to schedule them to come back I have yet to receive a response.

The cleaning window was 8am – 11am and the cleaners arrived at 3pm. There was no communication that there was a delay or emergency. I followed up with the company and never heard anything back. This ended up effecting a move out inspection scheduled for late that afternoon and becoming a minor issue with our property management company.

Based on the issues with communication and reliability, I wouldnt recommend using this service.

Now I also use their bi weekly plan, because it can be hard trying to keep a clean house consistently.

Ana and Magdalena did such an amazing job cleaning our home! They thoroughly cleaned areas that needed it the most and also got hard to reach areas. They even organized and tidied things that I didn’t even expect them to but was great to see. Such a pleasant experience, and I’m so happy with how clean our house is now. We’ll definitely continue using their service 🙂

I work in movies & commercials and we've been trusting Jackpot Janitorial to take care of our janitorial and cleaning needs on many projects, big and small. Our needs in the movie world require an enormous amount of flexibility, responsiveness to communication and real-time instant reactions. Our hours & schedules are unconventional; plus they change all the time. We can only trust a company that commits to 1000% responsive communication with us. They have cleaned & cleared trash from different locations for us. We've counted on Jackpot Janitorial to service our restroom trailers that move around to different parts of town everyday. They take care of our trash pickups from locations, movie sets & catering spaces (sometimes we have trash produced by 1,000 people or more.) And they've gone above & beyond in making sure our "trash routes" were taken care of (which again requires extensive communication since every minute is different & things change all the time–and they can be trusted to never drop the ball!) Their professionalism is extremely important to us and because they do their job well, we don't get complaints from the neighborhoods, the government, etc. Their attitude, service & customer support is 10 stars! I think of Jackpot Janitorial first whenever we have a sudden cleaning need that pops up, and since they have an "emergency dispatch" service, that has come in handy many times. They have done an excellent job If you're in the production or events industry, you'll understand how important the service that they provide is! I would definitely recommend them!

Marci Reed rated it 4/5: Being a historic building, it took a while to find a consistent plan to address our needs, but the leadership at Jackpot is committed to customer service. We finally found a way to accommodate being sure we had the same custodian week to week since certain protocols, especially related to COVID, won't work on historic finishes. The owner personally steps in when needed on projects that require special attention. A great group that we're pleased to be working with.

For several years, the house was not well-kept by previous tenants so gunk, dust, and grease accumulated in every room. It was a beast of a project, and they went beyond our expectations. Magic Hands scrubbed every surface and crevice clean. They went above and beyond by cleaning behind appliances, inside windows, etc. The staff was friendly, professional, open to feedback and worked quickly and efficiently.
