Mitch Damian rated it 4/5: The first guy that came last Sunday (Pat) was good he thought the pipe was a city issue and didn't want to charge my aunt almost 500.00 to check, so the city was called out and they said it was a secondary line that wasn't connected to anything and they informed Pat on what needed to be done and he was able to have someone scheduled to come back on Monday morning to do the repair. That person did come out and removed some of the pipe but not far enough back to stop the leak. So when I was back at my Aunt's house I saw that it was still leaking, so I called and spoke with Heather and she was understanding with my frustration of it still leaking and set up for someone to come back out free of charge after the almost 1000.00 repair charge between 11am & 2pm, and Sean was arrived at 10am and hour early which was awesome and he was able to repair the leak with in less then a hours time by removing the cap valve and cutting the pipe where it needed to be cut in the first place and recapped and valved it off and now my aunt and I was grateful and happy with the work that was done!!!!!!! The first two photos are of the leak , third photo is what was done on Monday and last one is the completed repair.

Within 2 days of my tune up, they were back onsite to replace my old furnace (1983) and the motor in my other unit. The servicemen who installed the new furnace were respectful of my property. They made sure to remove the old unit and everything else, so my place pretty much looked like before the installation. They answered all of my questions and even provided me with information I didn't even know to ask about. On top of all that, they linked me with seamless financing that worked perfectly within my budget. Now I have a brand-new unit, a satisfied tenet, and heat that works much better than before. The guys were polite and professional. They explained what they were going to do. We did have a small dripping from one new part that was replaced a few days later. Good competitive price as we got three estimates. Best warranty of the three.

What I didn’t expect was damage done to my house and the gaps they left open for me to cover. I paid nearly 13,000$ for a new hvac and ac system to be professionally installed. Damages to my siding and holes left open where they drilled. For the amount of money I am paying I expected much better than what I received.

I’m just a man trying to do the right thing until Four Seasons Heating and Cooling threw away my Hot Water Tank. I’ve got to be crazy. My igniter on my 1 year old hot water tank stopped lighting. So I called Four Seasons Heating and Cooling for maintenance. I had been a client for 6 years and trusted they would get the job done. What I didn’t expect was to be lied to and disrespected in my home trying to get me to say something that wasn’t true. And they did all of this knowing my mother was at risk for stroke. They sold me a new hot water tank for 3,800.00 dollars. But when they installed it. It didn’t work. Why? Because my hot water tank wasn’t broke. When I asked for my money back. Seeing the hot water tank didn’t work. I was told they had to speak to their supervisor. When I had to wait they said they would talk about it with their team. Then they told me they had to inspect the hot water tank to make sure it was okay. They sent a supervisor into my home and tried to get me to say something that wasn’t true. The same supervisor started pointing out problems he saw with my home to try and get me to react. All the while my mother is in the other room listening and upset he’s lying. I don’t know what I did to deserve this? I have gone 11 days waiting for there answer and Today they tell me it’s been past the 3 day limit to return hot water tank. To be continued…

The installation went very smoothly, the team, like Brandon, were professional, efficient and friendly. They also followed up several days later to make sure everything was running smoothly. Honestly, some of the best communication throughout the process of any home services I've experienced as a homeowner.

Michael C and his Irish eyes could have sold me an empty Adidas box and I would have Run like DMC miles to Niles. My Installation Crew arrived early and on time! What every Chicago lady dreams of arrived at my door, Polish pride, big muscles, South Side Irish accents, trucks and cranes, and big beards all in one day. I was lucky enough to meet Wesley, an extremely polite and kind soul with a passion for integrity and all-inclusive trips to Cancun. Bearded, blue-eyed Chris (sorry ladies, he is very much engaged ) was equally engaged on the job as he paid attention to detail and welded HVAC parts together sometimes with a fire torch. Windy haired Richard stayed up on the roof most of the day. He packed his own food and drinks and all I can say is that the A/C is on right now and I'm chilling in it & feeling great with the thermostat set at 68. Today was a sunny and hot 78 degree day in November in Chicago! Deljo made spending Benjamins so much fun and made a lifelong customer out of me. After trying to troubleshoot why our thermostat wasn't working in our new place I found out from a friend that we need a connector added onto our Spacepak unit. According to him (he is an HVAC company owner and tech out in CA) this should take all of 15 minutes MAX and he encouraged me to do it myself. I told him i'd first call around and ask folks what they charge since I don't want to take a chance (even though I am fairly handy).

All Temp quoted me $475 haha. What?! I asked for clarification because as you can see this small object literally only needs to connect to a few wires and thats it. I thought maybe she misunderstood me, but no she said the owner confirmed the quote.

Hard pass. I don't appreciate being price jammed because it's summer and you think my a/c isn't working. It's working just fine with an old school thermostat we just wanted to use our Nest one.

John did an excellent job in designing the lines for the initial installation of this mini split AC system for the 60 years old house with no central AC duct in place. They took care of issues might come up in the initial tuning up of the system. They sometime had busy scheduling, but they always tried hard to help as soon as they became available and performed great service. Special thanks to their dedicated Team! The nice thing I learned about All temp. is they make great effort to retain their employees, which can certainly contribute to the great service All Temp. provides. They charge reasonable price all the way along also.

He wrote up a quote on a new furnace and AC and explained my options. Marvin is very nice to work with and confident and I will definitely consider All Temp for my furnace replacement.

He labeled everything in the area for easy future maintenance and did a thorough job of making sure everything was in perfect working condition before he left.

  • Matthew Ardi rated it 1/5: I called for emergency service because my hvac heating system did not work and the temperature dropped below 50 degree. I called emergency service, asked for the fees and agreed to it. I was told a tech would be dispatched.

    The tech gave me a heads up call that he's coming, because I was not around, I provided instruction to ring my neighbor doorbell so they can help the tech get into the unit. The tech agreed that is fine.

    Then I heard no update, luckily my neighbor kept me updated. They saw the van by the front of the building but didn’t see anyone coming out of the van. So I called the tech and he was telling me he waited for 20 minutes and no one rang the bell.

    When in fact, he didn’t even step out of the van and he left after 5 minutes just idling in his van. How did I know that? It’s captured by this video below and see the timestamp.

    If they just be honest about it, and told me they could not fulfill the emergency request, I could have gone with someone else and avoided damages.
    Very unprofessional and dishonest.

The first person we met from Guardian was Jasper, who came out to give us an estimate. Another vendor rep who came out took a quick look around before giving an estimate, but Jasper took his time to get a feel for the layout of our old house and to calculate how a system might work best, while also listening to our needs and concerns. This got us off to a good start.

Once we signed the agreement, the installation process got started within a couple of weeks. While labor shortages are impacting every other business, Guardian sent a full crew out every day that included seasoned senior professionals who not only managed the crew but also did a lot of the work. We want to call out specifically Steve and Enrique.

Steve was the main supervisor throughout the installation and did a phenomenal job – from working his Paul Bunyan frame into the super tight spaces in our attic to managing team changes to talking issues through with us and coming up with brilliant solutions.

Enrique brought incredible care and attention to detail to all the work he did. Unfortunately he fell ill early on in the process but he did return at the end and continued to show the same care spending extra hours to make sure the system was ready to be turned on and functioning properly.

In terms of the results, the system is working perfectly on our first floor. Initially the upstairs attic/loft was still a little warmer than the main floor. John from Guardian came out and was prepared to add more vents and go however many extra miles it took. We are so impressed with Guardian’s commitment to quality and service. We really appreciate that this is a company that doesn’t walk away after they make the sale.

    Jasper came over the next day and did a thorough inspection and outlined what we would need done. He was very kind and professional. They had a cancellation and were able to come the next day. We needed 2 AC Units and a new furnace, as well as duct work and new thermostats.

    Rory, Eric, and Jonathan (I may be misremembering that last name) came to complete our project. We have 3 pets and were both working from home. They were AWESOME. The GM and owner even came by at the end of the second day (it was a 2 day project) to make sure everything was completed properly.

We found out that our newly installed thermostat did not work and called Guardian to help troubleshoot. They were out the next day and immediately noticed that our entire system was obsolete. He called his team and someone was out that afternoon to assess the system for a new installation. While we waited for the installation team, Guardian even delivered a portable unit to keep us cool. It was above and beyond service.The team was out within a week to fully replace our furnace and AC. They were also dealing with a difficult closet install and were able to find a great solution while creating minimal additional damage. One of the team members was even able to recommend an outstanding contractor to help repair the walls after installation. After the install, they came out a couple of days later to redo the filter to provide optimal performance. Lastly, they helped us navigate financing in a very professional way. They paid attention to every detail and were absolutely great to work with. Our AC system has been on since and made life so much more comfortable.

Fortunately, a staff member, Meghan, contacted me to renew my plan subscription and schedule an appointment. Service technician Nelson, along with trainee Ray, were assigned to my home. They both were professional and courteous. The PM check was thorough and efficient. They answered my questions and confirmed my system was working properly. I appreciate their professionalism and work ethic. I would request either of them for future service calls to my home. Overall, I'm pleased with Guardian Heating and would recommend their service.

However, I can tell you I am quite displeased with the mess they left on my patio after replacing my upstairs neighbors AC and Furnace. Please clean up after yourself and don’t leave your garbage for someone else to deal with. I run a business and you must button things up and clean after yourself. Leaving garbage, tools, extra supplies is not acceptable regardless of the quality of your craftsmanship. There is also damage on our metal staircase landing which I will have to repair because one of the workers dropped the old furnace while removing it.

    The install went off without a hitch, crane and all, and the whole process from start to finish took a little under 2 hours.

A few years ago when we first moved into the house, another HVAC company provided maintenance to the system while disconnecting the overflow drain switch on the AC coil pan. Therefore the unit ran for days and flooded our downstairs DEN. Oasis saved the day, reinstalling the switch and fixing the system. Now our old system is 19 years old and makes no sense to pay $1,000 to fix it so yesterday we decided to replace it.

Mike came out to look at the old central air and heating furnace unit which is in the upstairs of our bungalow. Seated horizontally, it was going to take a lot of work to get the old unit out and the new unit in. We selected the American Standard (highest rated in the industry a.k.a. Trane) 80K BTU 2 stage furnace/central air and an American Standard 3.5 ton 13 seer A/C unit outside. The team of 5 guys came out to install it just 4 days after signing the contract promptly at 7:00am and completed the entire job at 2:30pm. They had originally thought it would take a day and a half. I also elected the annual maintenance which they come out 2 times per year and will also cover labor, along with manufacturer's hardware warranty for 10 years.

The units are EXTREMELY quiet, you cannot even hear them run. Especially being outside and entertaining the patio. My electric bills are also expected to decrease significantly. The 19 year old previous system originally purchased from Sears was costing an additional $400/month just to run in the summer to to mention the old freon was $220.00 per pound.

I am VERY satisfied with Oasis HVAC, quality product, quality service, attention to detail, professional and courteous. They also don't change extra for after hours emergency maintenance and have been easy to reach in the time of need and arrive at the house in 1-2 hours after creating an appointment.

    Called oasis and got an appointment within a couple of hours. The technician showed up EXACTLY on time which was an incredible bonus.

    Quick diagnosis and repair (issue was on exhaust outside the wall, no parts replacement needed) stayed on site to make sure there were no other issues, friendly and willing to talk through all of our questions. A best case scenario on what could have been a very stressful day, will call oasis first for any future service needs!

  • Mark Daugherty rated it 5/5: TDH installed a Trane/Mitsubishi mini split system in our home in November 2022. I received multiple quotes for the project, and TDH was the most competitive. I appreciated that Bernie provided us with a quote the same day – other contractors took weeks, or never responded at all. After working with a third party to provide a load calculation to determine exact system sizing (pretty close to what TDH initially proposed), we specified a 5 ton system with 2 outdoor condensers and 6 indoor heads.

    Installing this type of system in a vintage brick structure is very labor intensive. Thankfully, George and the other installers were exceptional; they were very detail-oriented throughout the process. His experience and expertise with the system and various components was apparent. He took the time to discuss all of the equipment and line set locations with me as the project progressed, and he was very polite and considerate of keeping our interior spaces minimally disturbed. Post-installation, TDH quickly addressed the few questions I had. Overall, a great experience, and I would recommend TDH for anyone's HVAC needs, especially mini split systems.

They took the time to clearly explain how patching the leak and then putting new refrigerant in the system would create pressure and probably crack the 27 year old system again. Knowing that his furnace was also 20+ years old, I asked for a quote and timeline. The quote was outstanding and thanks to their pro partnership with Rheem, they are one of the few guys that can still get their hands on equipment quickly. From the initial call for service to final installation was only a few days and now my father-in-law's house has a completely new HVAC solution that will last for the rest of his life.

    When everything was finished, they walked me through it, made sure everyone was satisfied and there were no games with the final invoice. If you're in their service area definitely give them a call. I wish there were 6 stars available for companies like this.
