Once they arrived they said it would be $564 to replace this! Outrageous prices and they said they'd send a detailed statement (bill was paid in full) then statement never showed up. Supervisor still has yet to call me back and the tech said no problem on the breakdown then goes back on his word and said they can't do that!! $564 to replace 2 elbows and you can't break down service call, parts and labor?? Run from this company

He not only provided excellent advice but he also took the time to answer all of our questions in terms we could understand. He promoted And Services in a way where we could not say NO to purchasing a new air conditioner system, keeping in mind our current complete system is only 17 months old and had a large leak!!     11/29/21 – I am simply disgusted with the way And Services has treated my parents. They are senior citizens and honorably served this country as members of the Armed Forces. They were quoted $7K to repipe the plumbing in the house. The Salesperson, John, who came out to quote the job never left instructions on how to prepare for the service crew. Instead, we made sure every cabinet with plumbing was emptied. Apparently, the service crew was unaware that no instructions were left. This set the tone for the entire job. The rude conversation and behavior from the contractors in my parent’s home was appalling, and the contractors caused unnecessary damage to the property for the rest of the 3 days they were here. The crew ripped, pulled, and literally dumped; medicine cabinets, shower tile, bedroom closets, and other places where there were no pipes and no services completed. Huge holes were left in the walls all around the house (see pics- unbelievable).
    The salesperson also said that once the work was inspected by the county the drywall repairs/patches would be completed within 2 or 3 days from the inspection. It's been substantially longer than that…
    There was management intervention for a proposed (unacceptable) external plastic tubing from the main water supply to the attic (it appeared as fragile as a garden hose and homemade). The crew seemed to respond to management (who had JFK embroidered on his shirt- otherwise no name, no card). For this reason, my parents felt comfortable paying the remainder of the balance prior to the crew returning for the cleanup job. The problem is, they have not returned and have not been willing to make an appointment. This morning, they advised my parents 'maybe next Tuesday' when asked when cleanup services and drywall repair would be completed.
    This experience makes it difficult to trust even the reputable businesses with payment prior to the work and clean-up.

    There are random holes in the ceiling, damage from them stepping through the ceiling from the attic, uncapped pipes coming in from the ceiling, pipes that are capped but not flush against the wall. We still have holes in the walls and NO appointment confirmation for a drywall patch/repair. See for yourself. Review the pictures of the 'finished work' to get a sense of why this experience has my parents and their entire family frustrated and disappointed. I am astonished that any company would treat any customer’s property this way, much less Senior military veterans. I’m also disappointed in the lack of professionalism we’ve experienced on an organizational level when we tried to resolve the issues we had with the contractors. Every part of this experience lacked professionalism and kooth Most of all, we want to make sure others do not share this experience. Especially our community seniors. We will take to social media and share by word of mouth, the problems experienced as well as the resolution.

  • Cliff Hale rated it 2/5: I had a whole house re pipe done by AND back in April of 2022. Cost me $8,000. The re pipe went well with a few issues, like the guys that did the work, threw away some parts that I had just purchased and installed, without asking me, which cost me $80 and we had to be put up in a hotel, because they cut an a/c wire and we had no a/c. To this day, I still haven't been reimbursed for the parts. Once the re pipe was done, it took numerous calls and weeks went by before Paul Casano, got in touch with me to schedule a city inspection. The inspection failed and they had to come back out to fix the issues, which finally passed. Now after this, AND had agreed to have their drywall guy, Alex with MR. 24/7 to come out and repair all the cutouts that were made to do the re pipe, at their expense. This was wrote in the contract by John Ritchie. As of today, July 31, 2022, the drywall cutouts are still there. No repairs have been made by Alex. I have called more than a dozen times. Christina, the one in charge to schedule this finally called me to let me know that Alex would be in touch. After several days, Alex finally called me on a Friday and told me he would call me that following Sunday to schedule a date and time to come out. That was a week ago. I have called Alex at least 6 times, texted 3 times and emailed once. No response back as of today. It has been over a week since he has contacted me from the first call. Every time I call AND and speak to someone , they say they will send an email to the one in charge to give me a call and that's where the ball gets dropped. AND has been paid in full for their services, but all of my services have yet to be completed. I guess the only thing left to do is maybe hire an attorney or get a hold of "Better call Behnken" Think twice before giving AND a call for your repair needs. I wish I did.

  • Anthony Grim rated it 1/5: This 1 year 3 month old system has had to be serviced 4 times. Today we are paying 300-400 to have refrigerant put in. Last year we had to pay for a compressor (it wasn’t covered). We have 4 children and it has been down a total of 11 days.

    They install the system, plaster their name all
    over it with stickers to calm them for service. We have their extended warranty but NOTHING we had fixed is covered.

    On top of the 7k install we are 1100 more on for service calls and repairs.

    Sure the techs are polite but the company is a massive issue. I deeply regret working with them. There are better options.

    Don’t be stuck like we are.

    PS we have spoke to their “customer service” and it’s just lead intake reps. They don’t derive anything they just schedule calls.

    It’s my deepest hope that no one else has to deal with these “professionals”.

As a long time listener of the Mike Calta show, I remembered hearing the ads promoting Super Heat and Air. I'm so glad he called. They were by far the best quote and service we have received. Our installation day was great. Calvin and Tom did a fantastic job. They worked great as a team and completed the job quickly and very clean! I was impressed with how they left our home.

This company was called out to do a inspection that was given for free because of a promo from a radio show.. they came put and diagnosed a $370 part replacement and a ENTIRELY NEW air handler $9,300.00. (Remember the air is working brilliantly!) The air handler coils were filthy, although none of the dirt was removed to see under it. So not sure how they came up with it needing a new unit. I called out another company who after 30 mins told me it needed 0 replacement parts and charged $69.95 total for cleaning. I believe they are using to endorsement from a radio celebrity to rip off customers. THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF BUYER BEWARE!!

They identified I had issues with the existing duct housing transfer cases, which at the time the house was built in 2004, the flex tubes started to separate and mold started to built around them. They quickly gave me a solution and cost behind it, and next day they had a crew here replacing all of the transfer housings and reconnecting the flex tubes. They completed the job in a single day and now I will not have to worry about having that built up mold coming into my home. The teams were professional and very detailed in their work bringing my system up to code. I recommend them highly.

This made my wife and I very impressed as in todays world you can never be to careful. The technician was there for a few hours working on both units and kept us informed on his anticipated end time.
    Once he finished, he walked us through what he did and provided some extremely useful preventative tips as one of our units is 16 years old. This was above and beyond of his job description but I could tell he simply took pride in his work and was offering useful suggestions.

Claude arrived to do some AC repair and he was very nice and professional and he went above and beyond to make sure nothing is wrong with my AC system before he leave to make sure There will be no issues with the AC after the job is done. Also their prices are very reasonable and they don’t charge way too much. He suggested to change the thermostat which is something I wanted to do but was unable to because of the High quote I got from other companies and so I finally was able to install a new one that I can control from my phone with a very reasonable and fair price. For sure I will do business with them again and I recommend to use their service .

  • Asystole rated it 1/5: Well, they canceled on me twice and when they finally showed up they decided to want to charge over $500 for a capacitor. I’m all for supporting local business, but paying $500 to replace a $50-80 dollar part? Absolutely ridiculous.

    I went with another competing company and only paid $120. I’ve canceled my membership and will switch to another company for me and my businesses.

    ALSO, my technician came the next day and the guy from cool today left a wire unplugged and forgot to install a screw. These people work with malicious intent.

Overall service has been good, but their pricing has been ranging from sky high to ridiculous.

This was my third time using this company and i would have expected somewhat of a break when it came to charging me for something so simple as the flip of a switch. My AC had stopped blowing cold and I called Action Air over the weekend to schedule someone to come out. I even told them that I would deal with the heat until the coming Monday. It would reach 87 in my house and at night it was unbearable. I was told someone would be at my house in the morning and they did not show up until the afternoon. I work from home so this was always unacceptable. The tech who came out was the same tech that previously came to do a major repair to my AC not even two months ago. It turned out the my breaker tripped possible due to the thunder storms we’ve been having or who knows what but all it took was the flip of the switch. This tech checked other things which really did not need checking like a capacitor that I previously changed out any 3 months ago. My guess, in order to justify charging me full price for the diagnostic and trip charge of $160. I called their office to see if they could at least cut me a break and was told that the manager would return my call but that never happened. $160 to flip a switch is just plain ridiculous. Don’t expect any more from this company as they don’t care for returning customers. I’ll find a new company for any AC repairs I need in the future.

He addressed all my questions, and did the quotes for three systems right in front of me. Soon after reviewing the quotes I scheduled the job and put in the payment and Don was extremely helpful getting it all setup. The installers came on-time and were efficient, friendly and very professional. Highly recommend Don, the installers and Action Air as a whole!

We got three bids but none compared to Action Air Conditioning!! The Salesman Don was exceptionally knowledgeable, caring and courteous to our needs. He arrived on time to our home, inspected everything and provided several options in writing. Because the thoroughness and fair price he gave us, we decided on the spot to go ahead and have it replaced. We submitted the order the same day and the Installers arrived the next day on time. They were clean, professional and very efficient. Best installation experience we’ve ever had at our home. Overall, we had an excellent experience from first contact until the project completion. Would highly recommend Action Air Conditioning to all of my family and friends!

Even after the installation when I had questions he would reply back to me right away with the answers I needed! The installation process was very smooth and they gave me a great name brand unit even without the prettiest credit. Definitely worth the money, it’s hard trying to find an honest company nowadays but Action Air is thankfully one of those unicorns. I highly recommend them for all AC work and if you can get Don to help you out, you know you’re going to be in great hands!
  • Amie Devero rated it 5/5: I don’t usually write reviews, but in this instance I got to see the contrast between an excellent company and its opposition. First, the bad experience:

    My AC died completely in late July in Florida. The first company I talked to couldn’t get a repairman out for 3 days, but I tolerated it because I was using my home warranty. They sent a very slick repair/sales guy who tried to sell me a system (which is what it turned out I needed). At that point, the warranty company was no longer relevant because they wouldn’t replace it.

    It was the right product, but the proposal didn’t include any of the fine print like the actual model #s, finance paperwork, etc. Most of the conversation had an argumentative tone since I ask questions and he apparently thought I should “just trust him”. The more information I asked for the more condescending and obfuscating he became. Ultimately, I never got that information. So on a Saturday I reached out to Action Air and 5 other companies. I only heard back from 2. One was unable to do the work for 10 days. The other, Don Connell with Action, called me back within minutes.

    I asked for a proposal without a visit because I wasn’t willing to spend more hours with more salesmen when I already knew what I needed. Don was great. He asked for lots of information including photos of all of the areas, outlets, outside unit, fuse box, and pretty much everything he would have seen had he come out. He gave me a detailed proposal with two options —a more and a less expensive (based on brand quality). He provided all of the financing options. I was able to complete the entire transaction within an hour of first speaking to him. Moreover, he managed to schedule the installation for the Tuesday (given this was Saturday, that was great).

    On Tuesday, Ricky arrived right on time. He was polite, friendly and efficient. As members of his team joined him in the course of the day, I overheard the training of newer employees and was impressed. Once everything was installed, Ricky gave me complete instructions as well as maintenance suggestions—and emphasized that if I had any additional questions he or anyone else on the team would be just a phone call away.

    I rarely write reviews. But this was an exceptional experience and the Action Air team rescued me from a nightmare and has earned my highest recommendation.

I originally had another AC company quote my on a new unit. They were drastically more expensive for an inferior unit than Momentum.     I bought a new 3.5 ton AC unit and found the price to be fair and reasonable with a few “extras” negotiated. Bernardo, one of Abel’s coworkers, was also positive, knowledgeable, dedicated, and honest.
    Abel spent a lot of time with me setting up and explaining how the new digital thermostat works and how to coordinate the operational steps on my phone.
    I am happy with the decision to purchase my AC unit with Momentum and to know that Abel will always be a reliable person to count on for any AC concerns I may have.
    Side note: His company, specifically Bernardo, also installed a ductless AC unit in my sunroom which operates quite effectively.

These current times can be difficult but that doesn’t mean you should be taken advantage of. We met with Chris from REM to get a quote. He was very thorough, professional and gave us an excellent quote. He advised us to what we needed and didn’t try to sell us unnecessary accessories. On installation day REM’s crew was scheduled for 8:30 and showed up at 8:15. They were very professional, efficient and organized. They answered any questions I had and explained the process as they were working. I would highly recommend REM. If you’re looking for a new AC give them a call.

    Bobby came out (by request) for our routine system maintenance and was amazing as usual. We asked to have someone come out for a quote for a new system. Michelle called and got us an appointment with Chris. Chris came out gave us a quote and a great experience. So we decided to move forward with replacing our system.

    The installation team came out and were on time, respectable and patient (while we moved our cars out of the driveway). They finished ahead of time. Chris came out to make sure their work was done properly— it was!!

    We highly recommend this company. Their customer service is impeccable!

REM Air installed and have serviced my system since day one. While others wanted more money, they showed us way to save money with a quality system and stood behind the system they installed.
