We've been really impressed with their service, which has been much more consistent and thorough then our past cleaner. On the rare occasion something was missed (maybe twice in a year, both at the beginning as they were getting to know our place), they have always offered to send a cleaner back to fix it or offered a partial refund. Cleaners have been great with our dog, and communication is easy. Though they are pricier than other companies, it seems like they do pay their cleaners better and offer a more consistent service than others, so for us that makes it worth it. We love coming home to SUCH a clean home!

From the start, they communicate professionally and completely (thanks for the early email reminder each month and the follow up text reminders, including eta!). People who have come to clean our house have always been very respectful and leave our house sparkling clean. Eli has been coming consistently the last several times and is a pleasure to work with. I’m disappointed in our “deep clean,” but far more upset with the owner’s response to my concerns. We booked a deep clean for our mostly clean and well-organized house, just to get some additional help with the spots that don’t get as much attention (grout, corners, etc).
I came home to a floor that didn’t look to be mopped, with corners of dirt in several rooms and massive dust bunnies behind furniture. Furniture was not vacuumed, and overall, no real sense of “deep” clean.

I called the owner to discuss my concerns, and he told me that my house was “far too dirty” and “covered in smoke and soot.” Even after sending photos of the unclean corners and piled-up dust, he claimed my standards were much too high (what?). While we had some candle soot on a few windowsills, our house was not “entirely covered” – and the window edgings weren’t even cleaned. Several employees were at the house, but never told my husband – who was at home – there were issues or that they weren’t able to complete the work. I had to call in order to learn this.

When I became upset with his treatment (because someone from a cleaning company saying your house is filthy is tough to hear), he proceeded to tell me he didn’t feel “safe” sending his employees back. The owner turned my own mental health around on me, saying if he knew I had OCD, they wouldn’t have come to clean the house. And – that he had never, ever had a customer complain before me in 7 years. I don’t think I’ve ever had someone gaslight me this much.

They were here just over 3 hours and everything from the floors to the walls and baseboards was clean. I’m not sure my house has been this clean. Jose and his team were so polite and courteous. The price shocked me a bit but with the last minute and how many people came it’s quite alright. I couldn’t be more please with Jose and his team at Sea Clean. I do hope to be able to arrange consistent cleaning with them as they were superb.

When i hired him today 2nd time, he instead send 2 of his workers, who confirmed with me that it will take 2 hours. Jose then tells me that this time he will not charge me $140 and instead it has to be $220 (This is for a 500 sq ft condo with hardwood except for a small rug) . I understand prices change but he should have told me the new price before the cleaning started and not after I left the building. I agreed to pay his new price but no cleaning was performed.

When I called sharing the pictures with him, he wanted me to pay $100 extra and wanted to charge me to come back just to clean the couch and a small rug. He also wanted more for individual appliance cleaning, all this while being rude and threating to take me to collections with a recurring $50 month fee that his collections agency would come after me for.

K. Koleto rated it 1/5: I needed cleaning for two small bathrooms and a modest kitchen, and they quoted me that it would take 8.5 hours. This is without doing oven or fridge, even though they called it a “deep clean.” We had only been living here a couple months, and been keeping up on cleaning ourselves, in addition to hiring other professionals. (We’d been trying out a couple other services.)
They ended up charging us the full 8.5 hour cost for these three and a half normal-to-small sized rooms. (I say half because they also did floors in the open plan LR/DR.) There is absolutely no reason they should have taken that long. I complained about it, but the company basically just said, “You agreed to it!” I had not realized that I was agreeing to a 8.5 hour minimum; I was under the impression they’d adjust the price once they saw my home was not “condition 4” as they assumed and once they saw the actual needs. Instead the cleaners announced when they arrived that they were promised an 8.5 hour job and that they were going to stretch it out and make it take that long. I have no idea how she spent four hours cleaning that kitchen, or two hours in the bathroom. I can scrub that bathroom top to bottom myself in 45 minutes. This is one of the worst cleaning experiences I’ve had in Seattle. Never again.

I have been very ill and had neglected my home greatly. The hospitial gave me his number and I called and after some current problems with my home he came! He is one of the nicest and efficient people that you can ask for. Him and his partner cleaned my living room and both made laugh and I was so comfortable in their presence it was a pure joy. Now in the aftermath of their visit i am so relaxed and taking in the cleanliness and ease of heart which allows me to rest and get well and nap without a conscience of regret. So thank you Dave you made my day and my upcoming cleaning appointments a sure thing. I can highly recommend them for any pending job that you have on your list . SO do it and make your day!

Judy was the cleaner and Dave Wilson was the principal that coordinated everything. Judy was detailed, thorough, and went beyond my definition of cleanliness. Dave answered all of my questions and asked just as many, which is rare in the Seattle modern business culture. He was transparent, honest, kind, patient, and directly communicative about what can be accomplished in a hard-stop of a four hour deep cleaning; which were my parameters. There is an old-school vibe about Maids in the Northwest where the most important thing is to do a job well done. The system is simple: you call, Dave asks what you want, he tells you the price, they schedule a time, they email you a checklist, cleaner arrives with you there or not, and done. It's refreshing not to have to make an account and to be overwhelmed with too many options. Support this local business.

David was great at working with us to help determine what tasks were most important for our business as well as being aware of how long the tasks would take and make sure his team could work with our budget. He worked especially hard to find a cleaning product that wouldn't leave streaks on our new floor and wouldn't leave a vinegar scent afterwards. If there was ever an issue, David either called me first or was immediately responsive to my message. I would highly recommend Maid in the Northwest for their excellent work and how pleasant they are to work with.

The service had asked us questions about what we wanted and made an appointment; the 2 cleaners showed up right at the start of the appointment window and obviously had read the notes from us. They were friendly and efficient, talked to us for a minute about the job and asked about extra tasks to do if they finished up early. We opted to leave while they cleaned for everyone's covid safety so they let us know it should take 3 hours; while we were on our way back they called to let us know they were finishing up. They did the extra task, which was lovely to come back to.
