Luis Brayan rated it 1/5: Long time customer. Their old, un-maintained machines used to be passable for the cleanliness of this place. That is no longer the case. Place is filthy. Machines do not function well for the price they have them for. Oh but they added a few newer machines (half of them seem to be broken down) Do not WASTE your money here. I know I won't be any longer.

  • Valeria De Lira Richards rated it 5/5: I come here all the time and I’ve never had a bad experience. 3-4 sizes of washers, 2 sizes of dryers, plenty of rolling baskets to go around. The staff is always friendly and there’s 2 vending machines for snacks and drinks. ATM available, laundry products for sale, as well as laundry bags.
  • Thomas Griffin rated it 5/5: Very well kept facilities. Washers are all great and work well. Prices are about ¢50-¢75 more than the 24hr Laundromat I normally frequent on Zuni & San Mateo but the way I see it you're paying the extra amount for location which by proxy means less crackheads, alcoholics and other unwanted vagrants. Definitely coming here again in the future if I'm in the heights
  • debbi michal rated it 5/5: I haven't been to a laundromat for many years. This one was clean with lots of washers and oversized washers that worked great. The attendant on site was a busy lady and kept the place tidy. The area was large enough that I could walk "laps" while I waited for my comforters to be washed and dried.
  • Robert Avalos rated it 1/5: Had a very bad experience with Roberta the attendant. I used washer 9 and washer did not have correct water amount for a complete wash. I asked her to look at it and she got super rude and said well I'm not giving you a refund. So my cloths will not be washed properly. That's why I came to the laundry facility to wash clothes. Another gentlemen came up to us and said he had the same issue with that washer. So she stated I am not giving you a refund. I said I will contact the owners then. She says "go ahead and tell them my name is Roberta". I don't understand why she is so defensive, I showed her in the beginning vs saying after my load has completed. I call the number for the Laundry and she answers and says nice try. I go up to counter to find out how to get a hold of management. Managers says I can wash or cops can come out. Is this a joke, I have video of no water in my machine and a witness that she got mad for no reason. He even said what was that all about. He gave me his phone number in case someone wants to ask him about interaction. I come here once a week to do laundry and never been treated like this. Manager on the phone said she was the end of the line. Is this true? How can I make a complaint with owners and get refund for $6.75. I let my cloths wash and went somewhere else to wash my load correctly. The other 3 loads were good except that last. I did not feel comfortable with Roberta anymore and will possibly go somewhere else. Hopefully the owner can reach out and resolve the issue. If she does this to me how many other people is she being rude too??? As a GM a full service hotel, repeat business is crucial to a serving business. Roberta may make you lose one. I have video of her interaction being very defensive I can post if you need me too so, you can see her behavior with your own eyes.

Wesley D Smith rated it 1/5: While doing a driving tour of NM, we stopped for a laundry run at the Central location. After being shorted while changing a 20 Bill, by the change machine, I was accused of pocketing 7 bucks (ie putting hands in my pocket during the visit), thereby attempting to steal the change. Lesson: Making change while black is still a risk, especially at The Laundry Tub.

  • Amber McClary rated it 5/5: Very clean location! There is a cleaning staff that continuously cleans the floor and machines. There is an ATM and change maker on site, as well as seats while you wait. I went during the day and it wasn’t too packed and found machines immediately. The washers lock while in use and there is plenty of parking. There’s a sign for laundry drop off services but I did not use this service so I can’t say how it is. There is also a sign say ‘free dry with wash only’ but no instructions on how to get the free dry, so I just went ahead and paid for my dry. There’s also TVs on site for while you wait.
  • Les Gadi rated it 1/5: I would recommend taking time to go elsewhere, it may be clean but spend your hardworking money somewhere where the attendants are friendly and maybe lesser priced dryers. 1.00 for 24 minutes. Restroom has been out of order, more than one machine out of order. If it's for convenience I understand but there are other laundromats worth a working restroom and more baskets.

  • Mayra Reyes rated it 1/5: Unfortunately, I am moving this place to a 1⭐️ instead of a 5 ⭐️. The problem is not with Vero or the Saturday morning lady. It’s the lady in the afternoon. This lady is knave and ungodliness.

Fist altercation: There were BLOOD stained on counter where my daughter was folding. Told lady, lady was cleaning windows out side and said “ don’t you see I’m to busy”. I decided to clean it. Bathroom was closed to get any paper towels and soap. Went outside and told her if she could open bathroom so I can clean the table with blood. She refused to and I said can I borrow this towel that was on the floor. She said yes and I didn’t realize towel was dried … Went back outside and told her we really needed her to help us. She was mad and started to tell me off and scream at me by following me.

Second altercation: I was helping a ladies kid that fell and boy busted his lip open on tile. Asked same lady to open the bathroom for the lady and little boy. She said “ I’m not going to do what you want me to do”. Everyone was looking at her as she walked very slow to open the bathroom door. She’s cold blooded and a mean person. I helped the lady load her car so she could take her baby to the doctored. After all of that she approaches me and calls me a “metiche” meaning like putting my nose were it does not belong and yells at me…

Today: I needed to wash my Tied and needs to go into the bathroom and she said she was on brake and could not open it.

  • Ralynn Skeets rated it 1/5: This place is accessible but the newest staff hired is not friendly. She took my cart as I told her I was using it. She looked me eye and told me, “I need it” and as do I because I was drying my clothes. She has been like this on several occasions. The last few times I brushed it off and she seems to be getting worse.

Andrea Shepherd rated it 3/5: Not the worst place to do laundry while waiting on my new washer and dryer. Clean, there's security, climate controlled and the food truck outside has the best breakfast burritos.

Most relevant reviews:

  • Brian Swager rated it 5/5: Love the large washer toward the back and drying prices are cheap. Bring your own detergent and fabric softner of choice and be ready to get the old, dirty laundry chore finished with ease and peace of mind. No need to rush. They have rolling baskets for transport of linens and tables for folding and organizing. Two working change machines for quarters and a working payphone which has a direct line to the year 1992. Cool place to do laundry whether it's 8am, 5pm, or 2am. 5 stars for sure.
  • Bond Dye rated it 5/5: I hate doing laundry. I am not a laundry person. Not in any way. So when I go to do laundry I just want it done and over with. They have a machine there that I watched one woman put into three baskets of clothes. The thing looked like Fort Knox… They had loads (haha!) Of front loading and top loading machines. Plenty of dryers two. Even clothes pressers. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, that's fine, materials have changed, they're obsolete). There were plenty of people but there were enough machines for everyone.
  • Brittany Thomas rated it 3/5: This laundromat is shady!

Me and my kids just moved to Albuquerque and are staying at a hotel and needed to wash our clothes. So I put the clothing in the mid size front loader washer and all the buttons on most of the front loader washers were distorted. I had to guess what some of the setting where. I guessed what settings I wanted and got our clothes washed😓

The front loader washer I used is $2.25 for regular load, medium load is $2.50 and for a large load is $2.75

After we went back out to our car to wait for the wash to finish and we had 3 different people ask us for various things like to use my phone, money, and if I have any food.

Sorry I didn't pay attention to the cost of the dryer. But believe it's ¢25 for 10 minutes. I put a medium load in the dryer and paid for 30 minutes I believe and our clothes where dry. 😀

This place lacks seating. So you might want to bring a chair if it's too hot to sit in your car.

    Location 1/5
    Cleanliness 3/5
    Washers upkeep 1/5
    Dryers upkeep 5/5
Cost 4/5 buttons are distorted on some washers

  • lorain armijo rated it 3/5: I went to this laundry last night, I go there at least twice a month. Put $20 in coin machine for quarters and my quarters did come out. I put another $20, it sucked it in but no quarters. Talked to persons in charge and they said the boss would be coming in to check. Never happened. I got a number from him and left mine. I called this morning to talk to the manager or owner but phone number I was given or listed is out of service. Guess I'll have to go in and get this straightened out.. I should've gotten a. all from them by now. It is 10:37 in the morning of jan 7, 2023.

  • R. G rated it 5/5: Recommend highly, but no more FREE DRY as of Jan 2023. (
  • martica davis rated it 3/5: I've washed at this location pretty much weekly for 1 year now. This easily was a 5 STAR Facility until recently.
Pros: The location is extremely clean and the regular attendant is amazing. The family that owns the facility must treat her well, because she has worked here consistently.
Cons: The only cons are that the Free Dry Days (Wednesdays and Thursdays) were canceled suddenly and came along with a price increase, WITH NO NOTICE to the regular customers. Over the time I've been a customer, I've seen their Free Dry benefit the community of customers, (which is mostly seniors and retirees during the hours I go), so it's sad to see that this place may no longer be affordable for them.
Another CON: During my last visit (last week), the performance of the dryers seemed to be quite a bit lower, extending my time there nearly 30 minutes..It took me almost $2.00 to dry 4 bath sheets. I didn't add everything up, but it felt like I was constantly feeding quarters to the dryers.
As much as I've loved washing here for the last year, I can't say that I'll continue coming from across town to wash here every week like I have been…and many people probably feel the same, as the place didn't appear to be nearly as busy as weeks past.
  • Jerome “Jaye” Urioste rated it 2/5: Incredibly clean very nice machines work okay.
My problem with this place is it's expensive Washington laundromat down the street it's a dollar cheaper on all of the washers The dryers are so much cheaper as well getting 30 full minutes with 3 quarters. This place is insanely expensive I'm not coming here again Washington laundromat is my laundromat from here on out
  • MINGYANG ZHANG rated it 2/5: Some of the washers always take more quarters than it should be, say the standard $5 one always take $5.50, this problem is here for years and it seems that they never try to fix it or refund the extra money the machines take. The good thing for this place is free drying (not anymore) and relatively clean.

Most relevant reviews:

  • Monique Crews rated it 5/5: My wife and I live in our RV since COVID-19 Shelter-In-Place orders were issued for Albuquerque. Fear and misunderstanding from our RV Park management forces us (RV Owners) to leave our community to do laundry. Laundry services at the park are closed to residents.

Rainbow Laundry is clean, open, and they are not price gouging their customers. I traveled 10 miles East today to just have clean clothes for the week.
Thank you for becoming my essential place to stay clean and healthy.

  • Melissa Metzger rated it 5/5: I needed to wash my king size comforter and the laundromat I normally use was closed for some reason. I googled and it lead me to Rainbow Laundromat and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean it was inside. A nice lady helped me get acquainted with the layout and got me some quarters while I stuffed my comforter inside a washer. They had chairs everywhere and even a clean restroom. What a great discovery and now I’ll use this business in the future for my larger items that need to be washed.
  • Irene Teal rated it 5/5: Staff is friendly and prices are fair and cheaper than most places. I love top load washers and they have em. The dryers dry your clothes super fast. I only paid 50 cents per dry. I recommend this place. I will most definitely go again.
  • Alex Wood rated it 5/5: I love this place! Attendants are always nice and helpful, place is clean, machines are well maintained, AND the music is great.
  • Raquel I rated it 2/5: The prices are decent and the place is clean. Staff is RUDE. Older lady with black glasses scolded me because the machine wouldn't take my quarters and seemed jammed. Repeatedly told me about 3 times that it was my fault that I was feeding it too fast. Yet it jammed for her too. Funny how that happened. I'm over 50 years old and have done laundromats for a long time. Won't be back. If I want to get scolded while I do my laundry I'll go to my Grandma's house. Thanks.

  • Andrew Borstein rated it 5/5: The best wash and fold service I've ever had. Very meticulous and considerate — they let me provide my own detergent, which was really nice. Patricia was super helpful. And the price was extremely reasonable. I'd go back again in a heartbeat!

  • Adrian Valdez rated it 5/5: Clean quiet atmosphere to do your laundry. No issues at all and they offer payment from your phone which is a nice feature.
  • Joseph Herrera rated it 5/5: At the moment, our washer works but our dryer. I took our washed but wet load of clothes to spin cycle and used their one of many dryers and for not a lot of money, dried my load of laundry. The place was neat and clean. Thank you spin cycle!
  • Wayne Clayton (Social Buzz Me) rated it 1/5: This is a clean place, but BEWARE. Their machines are prepaid cards operated. They DO NOT offer special directions needed to avoid overpaying.
SHAME ON THE OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT!!
They are clear on not offering a refund if you leave your card in the machine too long. It will just keep taking money out of your card balance. You must quickly pull out the card AFTER you hear the click
NOWHERE DOES IT MENTION THAT. I told the attendee and he snickered and said "too bad."
This is a terrible way to run a business. I paid 15 dollars too much for laundry.

EDIT: I appreciate the management responding quickly. I have to go by there now since I still have a card with a balance on it and need to dry the clothes. There is also something I want to add…
Its posted that the last load needs to be in the wash by 8:30. I did have all my loads in by then. However with 5 large trash bags full of laundry, I had planned on using multiple dryers to get loads dry. I finished all my wash by 9:10.

I wanted to dry the clothes, but the attendent kept complaining how he had to sweep up after me… there were some clothes that had lots of dust on them and some straw. I picked up what I saw, but the dust was on the floor. I offered the attendent to take a broom and clean it upo, but he said no, yet insisted on complaining and reminding me he was "helping me out."

In no uncertain terms he made it clear he did not want me to take tyhe time to dry the clothes. He had the idea that I wouldn't finish on time, even tho' I had an hour before close. BOTH sets of door were locked by 9 and be just kept circling around me and staring at me. It was obvious he was more interested in getting out of there on time than letting me finish.

He seems to be a decent man and a good worker, but sadly lacks on customer service. I am from another state and was only there to wash all the clothes of my 82 yr old Mother. I really do not have the time to go back to dry them but I need to… and hopefully they do not smell soiled from sitting wet in a garbage bad in my car all night. I really hope for the attendant's sake he did not cause me to waste $52 washing clothes only to wash them again since he was impatient.

I am on my way over there now. We will see.

The 24 Hour Laundromat is a great place to wash your clothes. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the machines are always clean and in good working order. The prices are very reasonable, and the laundromat is always open, so you can wash your clothes anytime you need to.

Mandy M rated it 4/5: This is a really clean laundromat. A lot of laundromats have an odor of mildew which always grosses me out. There's always an employee cleaning at this one and the doors are kept locked which makes it more comfortable when you're there washing your clothes at 2 or 3 in the morning. My only complaint is that you have to pay for the dryers in 30 minute increments. You can't pay for less than that if your clothes only need a few extra minutes. That being said, the dryers are free three days out of the week so I guess that is fair. If you must go to a laundromat, I recommend this one.

  • Chris R. rated it 5/5: This is the best laundromat east of I-25. The machines are quiet, and the facility is always clean. All of the laundromat attendants are incredibly friendly, and they provide Starbucks coffee.

They have a bill-to-bill exchanger, and a dispenser for laundry soap, fabric softener, dryer sheets, and laundry bags. There is also an ATM, vending machines, and restrooms. They do provide a wash and fold service as well.

The prices are comparable to other facilities, but what sets this one apart is the atmosphere. You can actually hear something you're watching on your phone and relax. I drive out of my way to come to this facility because it's worth it.

  • Tsuki G.P. rated it 5/5: The cleanest, most modern laundromat I have ever been to. Attendant was very pleasant and multilingual. I'm so happy I found a good 24hr facility I can use. I work overnight and sometimes, after I get off is the only time I have to do laundry.
  • Hot Cheeto rated it 5/5: Always clean.. one gentleman that works late nights is super helpful.. ladies that work there complain about there job..
I love this laundry place cause its clean and safe. But the ladies that work here are awful… i got yelled at to wipe my feet, even tho i made sure too, cause it was rainy… and the other lady complained about cleaning (that's what she is paid to do.. were adults, we know what we signed up for) make sure our clothes are clean at a clean laundry place. Otherwise if the prices go up a $1.00, better be worth it.
  • Michelle Swanson rated it 5/5: Love this laundromat! We started coming here a few months ago and have not regretted once. I feel safe when I am there, which is a big deal for me. The attendants keep everything clean and are also kind and helpful. Today I had just enough quarters after laundry to get a soda, but it got stuck when it fell. The attendant bought another in hopes that it would cause the first to fall as well. It worked and I was very grateful because she didn't have to do that.
