When we went to pick up our items – they just handed us two shirts and the trouser. We looked down at the receipt (Thank goodness we kept the first one) and asked what happened to the rest of the item. Their reply was there were only 3 items logged under our name and that’s it. We even had the ladies count our items, which also clearly listed as the correct total on the receipt we were given the very first day when we dropped off the clothing. Some store manager then shows up and kept on asking us whether we were sure and we showed them the original receipt. Apparently, the ladies did not log our items and not sure what their plan was to do with the rest of the items. We escalated it to the manager of the store – who BTW was not at the store and they had to call her, and follow-up couple of times to finally the rest of the items showed up. We still do not know what they did and apparently it is a very common occurrence here. Never again! If they are trully affiliated with the Tide brand then the company needs to be notified. Terrible experience. Taking our business else where.
  • Alyson Bosse rated it 1/5: Don’t go here, especially if you see the frizzy/curly red headed employee (they were working the night of 1/3/23 when I dropped my clothes off around 6/6:30) I asked a simple question about having two of my items placed into a specific garment bag as I’ve done at other cleaners previously. She snapped back at me saying they don’t do that and had a nasty attitude about it. This was my first time to this location after they moved from across the street so it was already a little different and confusing, but the attitude given to me by the employee was unnecessary. The employees were much nicer at the previous location. I understand that each cleaners has a different policy about putting customers clothes into their own bags, but no need to be rude about it. I don’t care that this cleaners is only 5 minutes from where I live, I’ll be taking my business to the cleaners that’s 15 minutes away at this point. Don’t waste your money here!!

My recommendation is if you go tell them. They were the only laundromat that had same day full service around that I was able to find though.

When it's time to wash bulky bedding I always have to hit up a laundromat because queen size comforers are a pain in my home washer and dryer. I decided to give this a shot because it's not that far from home but HUGE MISTAKE! As you can see from the photos, I had them set to hot and the water that was being mixed with the the detergent is ICE COLD! The glass on the doors should be warm to the touch if there was actual hot water being used in them!! So $9 for comforters to not be washed in the way I paid for is akin to defrauding me. I will NEVER again visit this laundry.
  • Not Sure rated it 1/5: Maybe I came on a bad day, but first I had to search for a washing machine because the woman working here was using them all. Finally I found one and loaded it. Of the three change machines, only the center one would take my bill. The one change machine without a cup to catch the change, but with in interior tray behind a steel cage and difficult to reach into. After my wash was finished I looked for a dryer only to find every single upper dryer with cloths in them, but only two of them turning. The rest were just sitting there with dry clothes in them. I'm at least a foot taller than the woman working here but she felt the need to use all the upper dryers forcing me to use a lower one. Bad back and all. At one point her and came to a spot wide enough for only one to pass at a time. She stood there and looked at me like she expected me to step aside and let her pass, which I did. I don't know how they do things in Mexico, but this ain't Mexico and I consider that and everything else that I witnessed as how she runs this place as an example of poor customer service. So, to sum things up, this place is now crossed off of my list of places to frequent. I used to come here regularly when Elmer ran the place. This is my first time back since the new owner took over and Elmer left. I can confidently say I will never come here again. I had an exceptionally poor experience and am highly disappointed in what this place has devolved into.

    My response to the owner:

    I can see that you have many 5 star ratings. Great. You weren't today. There were three other customers in the place while I was there, all but four dryers had clothes in them, dry, not turning. Almost every washing machine except for the top loaders was in use. I understand she has a lot of laundry to do as I saw how you're pushing the drop off service. At what expense to your customers who use the machines though. Maybe if she was limited to half the machines during open hours, your walk in customers aren't having to wait for her to make one available for their use. And maybe the majority of the drop off laundry could be done during non public hours. I don't know, it's your business. Run it how you choose. I know that I'm not going to a place where I have to wait for a machine because the person working there is using them all. I have nothing against her personally, my impression of her was that of rude and inconsiderate. But then I was there for a couple of hours, not just dropping off or picking up. Rude because I was expected to get out of her way and inconsiderate because she was using all the machines. Here's an idea, why not send someone you trust and is unknown to her, in to wash a couple of loads of laundry. To be fair, make it on a Friday afternoon between 4:30 – 6:30pm. The same day of the week and time of day as I was there. Or, just look at your cc camera recording of that day and time frame. You'll find I'm not exaggerating or embellishing my experience today. You'll see at one point she locked herself out of the office and asked someone to climb through the cage window. I noticed I didn't see her for a while shortly before she had someone open the office door for her. I didn't see her come in from outside, but rather just appeared after being disappeared for some time. That's probably why there were so many dryers with dry clothes in them. Thank you.

Moved to a second machine and after I put in a dollar it said I still needed to put in $27…moved to 2 smaller machines and it started off good. The 25 minutes went by and 1 of the washers didn’t even wash my clothes. They’re still dry. Won’t be coming back.

Can’t beat it! Say hi to Karina if you see her! Super sweet lady, who very was helpful in breaking change, advising me on which machine would be best to use and kindly took the the time to show me how to use the machine. I spoke with her in the duration of time and she was very professional yet personable , great conversationalist who made the time fly by. Honestly, wonderful experience overall.     Their system is broken and consider this a warning.

Whoever owns this laundromat please be more available it's ridiculous to think that no one is here to attend to the place. While you're at it clean the machines once in a while there's still hair here on the machines and I feel like no one has taken the time to clean it within the last three months I have been here. It's COVID-19 people let's do better. Hopefully this place will get a tighten up because it's not a bad place overall but since I lost my money I'm going to write my review as a means to vent. – My original post was around 9/5/2021. Minimal chairs available for sitting, perfect for people there to do laundry and nothing else. They have folding tables parallel to all the dryers.   • H D rated it 5/5: I used this laundromat while visiting Phoenix from out of town. I give it 5 stars for the following reasons.
    1. the washers are affordable (December 2022) with normal top load washers at $1.75, and the smaller front load at $2.25. The normal size dryers are 25 cents for 7 minutes. The dryer heat is well managed: it didn't scorch or damage my synthetic fabric like other laundromats have, while still drying my clothes in a reasonable time.
    2. The space is well ventilated for a laundromat. I have chemical sensitivity with asthma and use unscented detergent. Most laundromats cause my clothes to smell strongly of detergent, just from the residual smell in the air and in the dryers. At this laundromat, that was not the case. Also, my second visit was at 6 am and the laundry detergent smell was very very light at that time in the morning, in case that would help anyone else.
    3. The space is clean, including the bathrooms.
    4. The plaza it is located in feels clean and safe.

So I come back after having a horrible experience with the 2.25 machines and again! The third one to the left leaves your clothes SOAKING WET and hot as hell when I washed them on delicate. They could’ve fixed it but instead just took the sign off of it. Very bad business and will not be coming back.

Wash Works Laundry Center is a full-service laundromat that offers a wide range of services to meet your laundry needs. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. The machines are high-quality and the wash and fold service is very speedy. The laundromat is always clean and well-maintained.

Place is kept decently clean, attendants working there are respectful kind. The only half negative thing I would consider to be any issue is that 25% of the dryers aren't working to their full capabilities. By that I mean, of those 25%, about 3 of them are out of order, 1 or 2 of them are for attendant use only , and the remaining 25% only operate at low temperatures. which is not entirely a bad thing since many things do need to be dried at a lower temperatures, anyway.

Overall, my experience was positive, and would recommend this laundry facility to anyone seeking a decent public laundering facility.

Plus they sell the cards for $2, and they already have $2 loaded on the card. So they are basically free. And if you put $20 on the card, it actually puts $22 dollars on the card. Free money. So, that's nice. Totally impressed with how well the machines washed and especially dried. Their dryers really do a good job and dry quickly, saving money and time! Looks like they just updated all the walls, too, looks super clean and neat. The attendants are very helpful and friendly. Hope they keep up the good work!

  • Elliott Wellman rated it 4/5: The card reader ended up eating my 10$ bill when loading, but the lady working was kind enough to show me how to use it properly and helped out. There are a few washers and dryers out of order but that was no problem. The ones I used we're good. The regular washers are pretty small imo, around the size of a 5 gallon bucket. But they have medium and large size washers too.

Google said this was the closest but I can tell without hesitation to not use this facility. No employees to answer questions. The machines operate on a card you must purchase. You buy the card then add what you need on the card. Seems simple enough until you attempt to purchase a card. The card dispensing machine didn't work. 20% of the driers were out of order. I'm amazed this place is still in business. Never again.

It was time to get my drapes cleaned only to learn that my local dry cleaners no longer cleaned panels. After calling several cleaners, I found Oxford Cleaners.
