Sometimes the machines eat your money but the stay cats in the ally and jumex in the vending machines make up for it. One time I met a cool homeless man here. Not sure if he was real or if it was the dmt but overall was pretty cool. I hope he's real cause I definitely payed for his laundry. 3 stars 5 stars if there where more stray cats.

Definitely recommend if you live on or near Hulen around the mall or Walmart! The dryers are only $.50 a cycle! Super cheap but effective!

They have raised their prices three times since I've been going there ( within a year) Use this place at your own risk. You will pay out the nose.That's why I stopped going there because of the prices kept going up. Don't tell me it's because of inflation. It's not it's pure greed. They raised the prices and lowered drying time from 16 minutes to 12 so that they can collect more money $ 1.25 for . 30 minutes greed

There is always someone available who is either cleaning or just watching over, and IF you can't seem to locate a staff the store owner next door owns the mate too, and best believe they know who's a regular and who's a nuisance. The hours of operation make it nice and relaxing and quiting time is accurate to the time "the freaks come out at night" start, lol, which in my books makes brownie points cause it let's me know that these people gets how the world works. 😁 (The dryers could use work but as long as you use multiple at a time, they do the job. So remember to spread out your clothes at dry time.)

When I asked for a refund the attendant wouldn't give it to me or at least compensate with free drying since it would take double the time. I asked to speak to the manager and he said I couldn't contact them and they did not like to be contacted. What kind of business doesn't allow customers to speak to a manager or for the manager/owner to leave contact information to communicate concerns or complaints. Additionally the attendant was not cleaning. There was trash all over the place and he was not cleaning the machines or the floor as previous attendants had before. He was too busy on his phone. Before the attendants were so busy cleaning they didn't have time to be on their phone. This is not how you run a business!

Paula Cantley rated it 5/5: My husband and I Googled a few laundry mats and this one came up. Back in the day laundry mats were so different compared to what they are today. Granted it is different in every state I am sure but still there are nice ones and this is superb, clean, and efficient. The washers are quick and so are the dryers. I love how spacious it is, they offer different services, you can get change if needed or use card as well, they have bathrooms, it is a nice cool environment to do laundry in, and have fans that can increase drying time.
Don't focus so much on the number as soon as you walk in that says 7.50.
Number one there are other washers that can supply your needs. Some extra large, large, medium sized, small, and offer pet washers as well. They offer pick up laundry services too which is wonderful to have the option. What it comes down to is what you need washed but ultimately depends on how you're willing to spend your money.

Water isn't cheap and can add up quick between dishwasher, showers, etc you get the picture. Is a Laundromat the most efficient compared to having your own washer and dryer? Maybe not, but then again it goes back to time and money.

We happen to live right down the road from this one. We had a huge trash bag full of clothes, towels, etc that needed washed. The extra large washer took it all. Altogether took about an hour for the extra large washer(7.50) a (1.00) for drying(I believe I saw only one size for dryer, could be mistaken).
8.50 vs the expense of a washer and dryer/washer/water/electricity you aren't paying for is a pretty good deal when you are on a budget.😄👍

Toni Canady rated it 5/5: I was in need of a laundry wash and fold. This place had the best reviews and even though it’s a 18 min drive from my home, I gave it a try. They did not disappoint. The clerk was very professional and my 92 pounds of laundry was washed and folded better than I could’ve imagined. They took the time to separate everything, they even put my toddlers clothes in a separate bag away from my clothes. Very convenient so you can easily put your clothes away. Now let’s see how long it takes me to put them away lol…. I will be using them again, hopefully with less than 92 pounds of clothes.

On average I spend close to 10 bucks every 2 weeks here which is not bad at all. There are plenty of machines to use and even on their busiest days, I e still been able to get in and get out. They have change machines and detergent dispensaries too of course.

J M rated it 1/5: First time coming here and my new sheets got stuck on the dryer ruined, and burned them if you want to risk your laundry getting damaged then this is your place to go I’ve been to many laundromats and this was the first time this has happened and it was also my first and last time coming to this laundromat from hell equipment is really outdated and facility was dirty save your self the headache and just go to another location like turbo wash I had to buy the same bedding set and what do you know when I went to go wash them at turbo wash they didn’t get damaged or stuck on the dryer and burned (who would’ve known) and when I told turbo wash about my horrible experience and the ridiculous so called “compensation” laundry works offered me of $5 for my damaged sheets they said I wasn’t the first person they have heard this from happening to them at laundry works and even gave me a free wash and dry because that’s how confident they are in their equipment TURBO WASH has gained the loyalty of my business anyway I’ll let you decide what to do with this information. By the way the dryer has a dent in the inside rim of the dryer that caused my sheets to get caught inside and drag them around damaging them see the picture for proof Laundry Works you can keep your $5 and use it to buy a flat head screwdriver 🪛 and pry that dent out like y’all should’ve✌🏽.

Later I saw someone else had tried to use one of the dryers and lost his money too. He found an attendant, she started another dryer for him but didn't bother marking any of the broken equipment "Out of Order."

Some of the washing machines struggle accepting quarters but washing machine #35 wasn't accepting any despite not being marked out of order. No one was around to help and I had already added soap. Another customer allegedly lost $10 in the arcade and was also struggling for a resolution. This was around 7:30 on a Saturday evening. I've had other bad visits in the past including staff opening the doors first thing in the morning and then disappearing in the back and not being able to reach them after the soap vending machine ate my dollar and didn't supply any product. I also have felt through observation that Hispanic customers have been treated by staff more politely than customers of other ethnicities. I will also add that while they have a restroom, they haven't bothered providing soap or keeping it clean and stocked. The attached photos show no hand tissue, no toilet tissue, and where a soap dispenser used to be. It's been like that for awhile. I won't be returning.
I would like to add that the man in the leased space (a separate business it seems) was very approachable, friendly, and apologetic(despite the situation not being his responsibility).

The owners are always there going above & beyond to make sure the customers are okay as well as assistance if needed. One thing I like is once were done using the machines, they're always right behind us sanitizing & polishing the machines for the next customer. Since then, they no longer offer "free dryers" due to some customers not abiding by the rules to make it fair use for all. So the fact that we are now paying doesn't affect me at all because of all the other things were receiving: Space, Ample Parking, Cleanliness, and nice machines/amenities; you cant beat that. 💜

The facility is the cleanest we've ever encountered by far. It's huge, and not crowded. Plenty of washer sizes… plus FREE driers!! It stays open later than the rest, and I apologize for the darker photos. We were there late haha. You've got to see this place to believe it is as spectacular as it is!

My husband and I came here because the one we usually go to was closed but the experience at amigo wash and dry will definitely make me a returning customer. Michael was awesome!!! He kept the whole place spotless honestly one of the cleanest laundry I have ever been to. He constantly checked on all the customers and made sure everyone was good. Very personable, took the time to talk to us he made us feel welcomed. They stay open late too which is a plus. Really amazing laundromat.

they also have a quarter machine that gives you actual bills & quarters so you don’t have to get 20 dollars in quarters .

He went above and beyond to ensure we were well and even gave our little ones lollipops. The facility was very clean (thanks to him constantly cleaning) and everything was in nice working order. He is a true asset to this place!

I love that the space is big, and the machines are new compared to the surrounding laundromats in the area. Kassie Vassar rated it 1/5: Came into town cuz my uncle is passing away so I was helping my aunt with her laundry she don't have a washer and dryer so I volunteered to find the closest laundromat the machine took my money the lady said well we'll have to check the cameras write your name and your phone number here like why in the hell would I still quarters are people really that trashy around here she was nice but they need to take everything into consideration not everybody's out to steal a dollar but in my case it was more than a dollar
