NioBands Music rated it 2/5: Usually I have a good experience here but today because of an employee named Benito it was not. I went straight from the washing machine to the change machine to get quarters for the wash. I went to a machine was was broken and the other was being used. Nobody said anything to the person before me at the change machine. This guy Benito (pictured below) saw me at the machine, came up to me and told me the change machine was for customers only. I was confused because I don’t know what made him think I wasn’t a customer after bringing my bag of clothes in the door, standing and sorting out the clothes for about 15 minutes then walking straight to the change machine. I would understand better if I just came from outside to the change machine— the accusation of coming just to get change and leave (which I had NO idea people even do). To me it was blatant disrespect not because of any behavior and zero remorse for falsely accusing a customer of not being one. I asked him if he was the manager and he relied “looks like it”. 10 mins later I talked to the actual manager about it and even he could not tel me what I could have done differently to not receive the disrespect of an accusation of wrongdoing. After talking with the manager and him saying something about an apology. Benito walks by as I’m saying no he didn’t apologize. The manager asks him to apologize and at first he doesn’t think he should. He then acquiesced into a less than half apology more like sorry you’re offended. Clearly not sincere about accusing me of something he had no reason to. It’s difficult to prove racist motives behind people’s actions but if I didn’t do anything to indicate not being a customer (ie. come in from outside) then he shouldn’t be disrespecting people who are spending their money here because the only thing left is you looked at me and didn’t trust who he saw. I get the feeling he’s liked by this mostly Hispanic area of LA and he doesn’t feel the need to correct himself. Good thing we have a place like this where someone like me can be heard about a bad experience with this guy who cared none to correct himself. I would have left and not spent my money here but my clothes and detergent were already in the laundry and I obviously had my change ready. This review would not have been written if he gave a sincere apology.

  • bella flores rated it 4/5: The place is great and most of the time super clean. If you want great costumer service, come after 11 am. There is usually a young lady with black hair early morning and she has an unpleasant attitude. Super biased and unapproachable. Only gives A+ service to people she's friendly with. The older man that works in the afternoons is super nice, always willing to help, goes above and beyond to help fix any problems you may have. The prices are a little high but overall a great place.
  • Christian Amaro rated it 3/5: Very spacious..
    A lot of light..
    Very roomy.
Extra aisle space so you can do your laundry with ease.
Limited parking but at least they have it..
Just a little dangerous when you are going out because the blind spots..
I know they try to keep the place clean but focus In the entrance too..
Since you guys have 2 doors sometimes people come here to eat…
Unfortunately your changes machines are most of the time broken or with problems..
Hope you guys can improve your location soon

  • Amanda Bates rated it 2/5: This place is clean with lots of light. I feel like some machines work better than others but overall it's the best place around that still takes quarters only other negative, they only have a single bathroom and it's coed. I had the unfortunate privilege of being next in line after this guy who was in there for almost 15 minutes 🤢🤮

    ***UPDATE***
On my most recent visit, there was a posted sign on the restroom [OUT OF ORDER]. The last week of October/1st week of November 2022. So for now, 2 stars, down from 4. When I see the restroom is working, I will bump my rating back up to 4.

  • aliiz delonge rated it 1/5: I liked this place up until today. I usually come in the morning to drop off my kiddo then come wash, but after today’s experience I’m not coming back. It seems like staff think it’s okay to harass you and follow you as you walk and scream “you can’t park there!” Even though I’m going to wash my laundry. Later on she explained that I have to report to her what I am doing (dropping off the kid then washing). I’ve never had an embarrassing situation like that. Never coming back.

  • W rated it 5/5: This laundromat has everything you need. You can buy laundry detergent or you can pop into the 7-Eleven on the left to purchase some. There is an ATM and change machine. All the machines work and if it doesn't, they let you know with a sign that says "Out of Order". They do not have single load watching machines. The smallest is a double load. They had triple, quadruple and the maximum I believe was up to 5 loads machines available.
  • E rated it 5/5: Clean facility with new, well maintained washers and dryers. Nice staff and fair prices. Open 24/7. They have 60 & 90 pound washers for comforters and pillows. They also sell tide pods for .75 each or 4/$2 and multi load powder detergent for $1.75.
  • Monika rated it 5/5: Needed to wash a comforter. Came here at 7 pm on a Sunday. It was fairly busy.
This wash n fold is very clean, helpful staff, and has a security guard at the door. Parking available right in front too. (Cost for the “mega load” tha my inbred to fit a queen size synthetic comforter cost to wash $7.25, and to dry cost $0.25/14 mins, so roughly less than $10). Not bad. Also i felt pretty safe, and there weren’t any sketchy people. In fact, I feel the others doing laundry there too were very polite.
  • Hunter Pixel rated it 1/5: Don't bother coming here if you want machines to eat your coins with the staff gaslighting you into saying you overloaded a machine that wasn't even full. Didn't give us our money back either

Don Harvey rated it 3/5: Clean facility. Did my laundry at 2:15 a.m. I will say that there is a staff member that is very rude and had the potential to make the company look bad. But other than that individual it was a nice place to do laundry

My favorite is the massage chairs $1=3min and it feels good. FORGOT SOAP! No Problema! Visit their Laundry Supply Store, created just for you. Variety of products and fair prices on everything. (except $5=sm. Clorox bl.). The machines range from 80lb. Lg loads=$9 75 to 30lb. Sm loads=$4.50+ 45lb. Load dryers=FREE! Parking spaces have easy access to tge door and good lighting. Grounds are clean, no strangers loitering, and it feels safe. This 24hr Spot has cameras in the sky so look up and say✌😘. Free dryers have rules and customers can view them clearly on the wall. Pico24hrCoinLaundry is perfect for pulling all-nighters. The best time is after 11pm when you can enjoy having space. 5 STARS guaranteed if it had WIFI and reg. washers for small loads. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pico24hrCoinLaundry FOR EVERYONE TO COME ENJOY DOING LAUNDRY ANYTIME 24/7! Remember to say hello to Roberto!
  • Patricia V rated it 4/5: I try to go at night or after midnight, but I’m finding that’s it almost always busy. It’s because it’s the only good laundromat in this neighborhood. There are so many laundromats but all have broken or busted machines with no room. There are plenty of large machines that actually function. Other places tend to turn down the water which will leave clothes with nasty soap residue. And most places are very dirty and old compared to here. This place also has tables to lounge on. It’s the only place I can go to around my apartment that I trust.

  • Janni rated it 2/5: Been going for quite some time now and they seem to be lacking on hygiene, counters are dusty, floors are sticky and the machines have a bad odor now, really considering going to another laundrymat. Only plus is the Free Dry.
  • Clem Cleo rated it 1/5: I’ve been coming for a while but today around 1am I was accused of just using the dryers. I live far away but come here cause it’s the only 24hr I know. The woman that worked here asked me and I answered that I did wash and she told me that she could check the cameras to see if I’m lying so I better just tell the truth. I don’t see why I would waste gas to not spend the 4 dollars on washing that’s kinda stupid. I usually wait in my moms car and I don’t fold my laundry there cause of covid. She said it was “just a question” but she kept expecting me to confess to lying which I didn’t. It wasn’t just a question she kept pressing and I was annoyed it was 1 am I was tired I didn’t want to deal with her.
I understand the rules but maybe check your cameras before calling me a liar?

Mary Katherine Timme rated it 5/5: Love these guys for items that are too big for regular laundry. Their service is a good value, the place is clean and bright, the machines are clean when I do the laundry myself, and when I do not have time, they do a very good job for me. Highly recommend!

  • Simon rated it 4/5: Nice spacious Laundromat with nice clean washers. They are labeled from 6 loads to 1 load. I wasn't quite sure what 6 loads equaled so I asked.
Not all machines have credit card swipe. The one I tried didn't work. The attendant ran my card for me and started the machines when I was ready to go.
The attendant was a huge help. There's also some food options close by if you get hungry.
  • Mike Mackintosh rated it 3/5: Update: Noticed when you use your credit card, regardless of the machine all charges are $10.00. It’s not an authorization but a settled charge. Disputed the charge with the credit card company since there’s no signs saying machines are different prices coins vs cards!

    ———————

Like this place. It’s clean and I haven’t noticed gross-ness left behind in the washers or dryers like other places. I’ve had a lot of clothes ruined from machines at other places, not here. The free dry is nice. Their machines are pretty efficient as well.

Special mentions: The music is always on point.

There’s staff here at all times and they are really attentive as well. They helped me wash my clothes more efficiently as well! Most places don’t even have staff on site. They also have all sorts of products for purchase including seventh generation and some other organic products.

  • Trace E rated it 3/5: It's very nice that you can dry for free here. It's very much appreciated. Staff can be a bit rude though. Someone there politely inquired about his daughters underwear being ripped apart by a washer and a staff member very rudely blamed him for putting too many clothes in. It didn't look like he put in too much, but who knows. Either way, she could have been a lot nicer about explaining it to him.
  • Trish Garcon rated it 1/5: The night of the 24th of September:
Me and my friends went to that place to do laundry
We check before we came the voice-mail said midnight and the website say the same thing MIDNIGHT.
She choose to go early that night and said she called the manager he say YES and close the door at 9:30pm a Van with 15 traveling Nursing professionals FIRST RESPONDERS and she refuse us service and we work 12 hours SHIFT we done at 7pm went to the Hotel pickup the clothes and came here to do laundry for the week and we been refuse services some of us was inside she said we need to get out she can refuse service to us and call the police .
We just left cause that was ridiculous to have police report. SO PLEASE DONT GO TO LOVE LANDRY THEY BAD ON SERVING THE PROFESSIONAL AND THE COMMUNITY

  • Tamaghsty rated it 1/5: Employees are great, super nice people. Lots of washers for multiple loads. However with their fluff and fold service, there is not always someone attending the clothes. Being that there are homeless communities all in the area you would think someone would always be there but apparently not. My clothes were stolen from the store and the owner did compensate me for the items but refused to refund me the fee for the fluff and fold services. I would love to depart this place without leaving a review. But I just payed 80$ for my clothes to be stolen. Thank you rude owner
  • Baybee Pretty rated it 1/5: I've been living in Hollywood all my life. I've been coming to this laundry for years. Recently they've changed employees. I won't be getting any more wash and fold here over a ten cent bag they refused to provide. I moved to Santa monica lol and drove an hour away for this specific laundry. Now that I see the reviews. Good thing I won't be loyal anymore.

  • Altitude Adjustment rated it 5/5: I was impressed with the place! The rates have gone up from those posted previously, but such is life. Clean machines and many of them. Clean restroom for customers only, requires token from attendant to enter! I said two quarters into the dryer for a total of 24 minutes then set my alarm. When it went off, I still had 9 minutes on the dryer, so a good deal there!

  • harice quinanola rated it 4/5: This place is perfectly clean. As I entered the place, I saw the staff cleaning and I couldn’t see any single dirt on the floor. There are ceiling fans and a lot of chairs. It’s very relaxing while you chill and wait for your laundry. There are washing machines for 3 loads, 4 and 6. I used the 3 loads for $2.00 and went on for 22 minutes. The dryer is cheap; 0.25 for 12 minutes. I have seen there are different prices for each washing machines, it depends on what you’re using. If not mistaken, there were $2, $2.75, $3.75, and $6. Parking space is big so it’s not a problem unless if you go during peak hours, parking space is not guaranteed. You can buy detergent, and other stuff you need for your laundry since they have this mini store upon entering the place. Like any other laundry places, there are machines for the drinks and chips.
  • p calderon rated it 3/5: Edit 2/22- the prices have gone up 25 to 50 cents for the washers. You used to get 10 minutes of dry time for 25 cents but now you only get 5 minutes.

These prices are reasonable and the time it takes to wash is shorter than Caffe Laundry (Vermont near 5th).

This place has single load washers which is a plus.

There's AC, plenty of room to fold, chairs, and helps attendants.

  • Shris A rated it 1/5: Very Bad!
    Lost all my white clothes.
The employees were not helpful at all. They acted like they didn’t understand anything I was asking. Gave me a phone number for the owner, some Mr Lee who never answered the phone.
    Terrible service.

  • Lance Laube rated it 5/5: Clean, reasonably priced and great service. I washed some nice shirts with dirty socks and a blanket and everything came out smelling great. Walter who works the desk is very kind and attentive. Let me know I left a couple of socks in the washer so I was able to retrieve them. This was my second time here.
  • Dianne Pinkston rated it 5/5: My clothes were neatly folded and with a fresh sent.
I am senior and have had a stroke. I normally wash my own clothes. However, this service was priced fair.
The pickup and delivery was a nice exchange. Next day service.
I also sent my queen Comforter also.
I will definitely use this service again.

  • Nithika Arunkumar (티카) rated it 2/5: I just moved to the area recently and was planning to run my errands after finishing class. So I grabbed the only 2 twenties I have to exchange for quarters to keep at home (they’re heavy, and I don’t normally carry cash for safety reasons) and stopped by Sparkling Coin while walking back from tutoring before going home, dropping off my textbooks, and coming back with my unwieldy laundry basket. I had barely inserted my money into the coin exchange machine before being berated by the owner? Manager? I’m not sure, but I understood his concern at first. I explained politely that I was coming back from tutoring and would be back promptly with my items to launder. I would have explained my personal cash/coins situation but he kept insisting that quarters were for customers only and would not listen to my explanation and told me to leave. I had been so relieved to find that even without an in unit washer and dryer there was what seemed to be a clean nice laundromat nearby, but I’m feeling quite hurt about my treatment this first visit. I understand the rules, but I didn’t break them! I am a customer, or at least I was going to be within the hour. I was going to come back as soon as possible to relieve suspicions, but after arriving home and feeling sick to my stomach, I think I’ll be going somewhere else to do laundry.

Steven Y.N. Chen rated it 4/5: I like coming here. It’s always clean and the machines are relatively well maintained but they can be very inconsistent. I started two loads at the same time. They ended up being almost 8-9 minutes apart when they finished.

  • Lahela rated it 5/5: First time in this place today. Came in on a rainy Saturday morning (8am). Place was already busy but there were enough machines to do all our 5 loads of laundry at the same time. No need for quarters here. They have a neat system where you have to purchase a laundry card ($1) and load money in it as much as you need – better than carrying quarters! We finished all 5 loads – wash and dry, shy of 10 am. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Place was clean, well-lit, well ventilated, spacious, and the ladies working there were kind and helpful. 🙂
  • Madison Jones rated it 5/5: Very high quality customer service. The lady today was very nice and helpful to everybody. Machines are new, everything is clean. Highly recommend .
  • Elena Torres rated it 5/5: My first time here, and I really liked it. The machines, folding tables, and everything else was clean. The attendant was really nice. I would definitely come back.

  • Sylus T rated it 4/5: I've been using this business since 2017. Since then, most of washers were replaced with new ones. The place is clean and Veronica, one of the attendants, is the best – very friendly and helpful and kind. The other attendant, I don't know her name, is not friendly at all, so every time I make a trip there I hope that Veronica would be working. Credit cards are accepted – please see the pictures. Parking is limited because it is a very busy neighborhood. There are two TVs, so I got to watch some soccer while doing my laundry

joe black rated it 5/5: Great place to wash a load…the staff person Carlos was very helpful & the place is super clean. I really like that they have a refrigerator on site, that offers "Free Food" to anyone that needs it. I witnessed a lady fill it up with 2 grocery bags full of food. Kudos for this concept!

The employees are really helpful and always busy cleaning or helping patrons. There's a community fridge that's hosted here. The fridge is a great mutual aid effort. It's kept clean and provides much needed nourishment for the community. The owner is a really great guy, as well.
  • Peter Szijarto rated it 5/5: Love this place! Just make sure you get in before 830, as they are closed to new customers, only those inside. Great place, clean, friendly staff, and they use a great card system that you load with cash. The owner even refunded me 20 when I left my card in the dryer and it kept deducting from the balance. 100% recommend. Also right next to Vons so you could get your grocery shopping done too.

Total scam I lived in this neighborhood for 3 years and used to frequent this fluff and fold I would not recommend coming here! I paid $1.50 per pound my laundry was done and they did not want to give it to me until tomorrow because I didn't pay for the express!!! Horrible business practice what a terrible new owner ship
