Oh, by the way, they took two weeks to go the work. Totally disappointed.

  • Tim rated it 4/5: Very easy to get to. Machines were clean, but the floor could use a sweep (however the was a post about staffing shortages and who to call if an urgent need). Large 9 load, 6 load and 4 load machines that make doing bulk washing a breeze. Has a subway in the same complex if you get hungry and has drinks available in the laundromat. A little bit of a drive but one I will return to in the future.

    Last time I went, the app wasn't working and no ATM. Walked across the street to the gas station to use the ATM. I was gone for 7 minutes and when I returned someone was taking my unwashed, soapy clothes out of a washer even tho there were plenty of unused ones available of the same size. Also don't appreciate the random men who like to use this location to try to pick up women 🤮

    It was filthy, trash barrels overflowing, there was trash all over the floors. Then after I put all my laundry in a machine, I walked over to get quarters and all of the machines had the red light on saying they were out of service; the one for cash and for debit cards. Horrible, horrible laundromat. I even went to every business around it begging for quarters and no one had any. I took my laundry out and left. Meanwhile my poor dogs were waiting in our hot car. This place is terrible!!!

That was a pleasant unexpected surprise! He was very kind and generous. He was changing the vending machines and even gave one of the kids waiting patiently for him to be done what she was wanting for free! By far one of the best experiences I've ever had at a laundromat! Everything was clean. Had a couple of the machines out of order but the owner was on it as soon as he was told they were not working. Dryers actually are hot, with maximum time of 32 minutes. But of course you can add dryer time with additional monies. Both washers and dryers use quarters and delbit/credit cards. Parking area is free, but kind of small for the volume of customers. Best time to go is early morning, but go when needed.

I've taken several high end pieces to get cleaned and every time I pick up a batch at least one item has been damaged. Some things I can accept – a lost button can easily be replaced. But other times I've had items come back where the creases have been removed or threads holding something together have come apart. I had them attempt to repair the crease in a dress and they literally sewed in the crease, without my permission, and it was clearly obvious and incorrect. $700 dress ruined.

The nearest location for me is the UW Hospital location on University Ave. This review is not for the quality of the dry cleaning that I had done, but for the Manager of this location. I was standing behind an elderly woman and came across horrible and disrespectful customer service by Dulce, the manager of this store. The elderly woman was hard of hearing and had asked Dulce to repeat a question. Dulce had taken it upon herself to humiliate and mock this elderly woman to the point of being extremely disrespectful and hurtful. When I paid for my order, I let Dulce know that great customer service begins with a smile and a positive attitude. Dulce said nothing to me and walked away while shaking her head. Two weeks ago, I had an order to pick up at this location. Again, Dulce, the manager was working the front counter. I asked her if my coupon for the clothes was applied to the bill. She immediately went into a rage that I had “laundry, not dry cleaning, and your coupon not applied.” I explained to Dulce that I wanted it applied to my dress shirts and not the pants. I questioned her why she is constantly rude and impolite to customers that have been loyal to Klinke Cleaners at this location. She told me, “I don’t want your clothes here anymore. Take your clothes and leave and don’t come back.” I told her I would be contacting the corporate office to complain about her lack of quality customer service. She told me to go and ahead and said, “They won’t fire me!” I also reminded her of how she had treated the elderly woman back in July. I contacted Steve that afternoon and he called me back immediately. He said we don’t treat our customers that way and had deeply apologized for Dulce’s attitude and poor handling of this customer service. Steve said he would address these issues with the supervisor and Dulce directly. Again, never had any problems with the quality of the cleaning since 1998. It’s a shame that the quality of customer service by a manager is not shown through as it is in the quality of the returned product.

The manager offered to redo them at no cost when I emailed them. When I picked them up, they were better, but still had lines on them. I touched them up myself at home instead of trying to go back another time.

    I tried them again the other day and the same issue happened. Attached are photos from their attempt to clean and press my shirts. I'm confused how a dry cleaner allows shirts to go out to the customer like this. I've used other dry cleaners for 10 years and never had these sort of issues.

    To be fair, they did fine with my pants and jacket, but they can't press shirts.

Klinke is saying it is not their fault and they cannot do anything because it has been 8 months and "they tell people if a button fell off." The shirt has not left the Klinke dry cleaning bag and hanger since I had it dry cleaned to protect it from dust while I was living overseas for the last 8 months. I had to pay full price for a service where they ruined the integrity of my vintage shirt, and now I have to buy new vintage buttons for my shirt to fix their error that they refuse to take responsibility for because of the timeline and "they would have told me." DO NOT RECOMMEND this company.

    **EDIT to their reply** The button you replaced it with doesn't match at all. The original button was a beautiful copper color with a oval on the square button with a turquoise color in the middle. The button you used was a tiny black button that isn't even the correct size.

    This laundromat has the largest machines of any laundromat I've ever been to. One is $13.50 and holds ALOT of laundry. There are two more that cost $10 each and they hold just a little less than the $13.50 machine but still more than the largest machines at any other laundromat. These are perfect for blankets, comforters, sleeping bags, and really any and all large linens. In the $13.50 washer, I washed 5 blankets, one king size comforter, several towels, sheets, and all my clothes from the last two weeks plus a few baby clothes and there was still adequate space for the washer to actually do it's job properly. For perspective, everything was in two 33 gallon trash bags which were both super full.

    In addition to the largest, this facility also has the most variety. That is, they have more sizes of washers to choose from, I believe 5 or 6 different sizes. Most places I've been to have 3, maybe 4 at most. There are also plenty of dryers and numerous tables for folding your finished laundry. There's a soda machine just outside the left entry (there are two entries at this laundromat) in case you get thirsty and a BP gas station and convenience store across the street.

They can't keep the doors of the machines open after being used (while not in use) due to safety of children present so they're not properly drying out to prevent the smell. The wifi password does not work. Badgers1Js only saved. Seems small. But they do have staff there sometimes. The dryer I used dried in like 10 minutes, but the time you get is 32 minutes, so can plan on drying multiple loads back to back.

The quarters are for customers only.” Like I knew I looked rough but I was wearing the only clothes that I could find of mine that were clean. Like, seriously it’s not all that damn serious. I did my laundry but really felt discomfort the whole time because of how rude people want to be towards paying customers. I’ll be sure to go somewhere where no one is down my back as soon as I walk in the door!     Staff is super nice and friendly, willing to help if there's any questions or issues. Never been here and not had a staff member present. I love as a female, that there are cameras on site!

    Atmosphere is laid back, like a community feel to the place. Never had any experience with other customers being rude or shady to me. Everyone chit chats and gets along like neighborhoods. They even keep one TV dedicated to kid friendly shows and the other for the grown ups. I have all grown children, but I appreciate their mindfulness that sometimes kiddos need to come with and they create a family friendly environment in this one simple act. * way to go guys 😉 *

    I met one of the owners today (frank) and I got to say, I'm really impressed with the care and customer service. The mindfulness and responsibly for and to the community, especially women! I feel completely safe, even at night. Again as a single female, that's super important to me.

    The site is also kept very clean, machines are kept clean and sanitized. I am personally OCD, so the maintenance and upkeep is very important to me. I am 100% comfortable and don't feel "laundry mat dirty" at all, lol.

    They also have restrooms, wifi, atm, change machine and laundry needs "vending machine". Plus really good weekday discounts! Well priced overall. My first time I did a months worth of laundry in an hour and a half for just over $20.00. Only taking up 2 washers and 2 dryers to complete it.

    Apparently they have two locations, I would imagine that both are maintained the same way. Definitely would recommend Dana Lou's over any other laundry mat, hands down!

  • Edward Brunton rated it 4/5: Overall a very nice laundry mat. There is an atm do you can get cash. And there is a coin machine so you can get your quarters. Neither have been or if order since I've been going. In general, washers and dryers here are well maintained with only a handgun being down at any given time. Prices aren't amazing but they are reasonable (6 weeks worth of laundry costs about $20 to wash and dry). My one gripe is that they are still advertising free wifi when they have made the network private.
  • Maximillian Ottoman rated it 3/5: It's…alright. Somewhat like the majority of laundromats you'll find in town, shady types come in that don't even do laundry and mooch off of wifi/abuse bathroom. Unfortunately does not mandate mask wear as much as even the owner's son I believe that comes in and does all maintenance takes it off time to time.

    Kinda also clear that some get treated better/higher customer quality and service more than others, whether its a machine that acts up or some allowed to stay and do laundry longer than others.

    But to get the job done, they got decent machines for any amount of laundry. Only gripe is dry cycles get interrupted and sometimes put on wrong heat after taking out lint traps mid-cycle.

She is RUDE, and messed with me the entire time i was washing for absolutely no reason about the positioning of the carts?!? weird experience, never had this happen at a laundromat 0 stars do NOT go here.

I worked on all my towels socks and boxers myself and brought the rest of all of my dirty laundry in and they did such a stellar job of cleaning folding and sorting, I was in awe when I picked up my clothes.
