I had no idea what she was talking about, but after hanging up I went to the bathroom and asked the cleaners what the issue with the tub was, which looked fine. They showed me a photo of the tub covered in this red-brown dripping liquid, and said it appeared after they poured bleach in the tub. My tub is cast-iron, so that's why that happened. You're not supposed to use bleach on cast-iron tubs because it immediately causes it to rust and can stain. Anyway, I think the tub will probably be fine, it was just a little frustrating to get the call and deal with a lot of miscommunication, because the woman who called me seemed to think the photo the cleaners sent showed the tub when they got there, not after they poured bleach on it. And in general I think cleaners should probably learn what not to use bleach on before they use it. The cleaners were perfectly nice and did a good job otherwise, but I won't be using Maids in Brown after this incident.

This week Glenda and Wendy came and when I arrived home after a 15hr workday, seeing how thoughtfully they cleaned my home made all my stress melt away. They went above and beyond what I expected. Not just wiping, vacuuming, etc. but more. My bathroom faucet leaks a little at the base and there was hard water stains and calcium buildup and they were able to get rid of all of that. I didn’t see a single hair on the floor, my coffee machine looks new, and everything just sparkles clean. I’ll continue to use Maids in Brown and hope to get Glenda and Wendy again.

Dona (the owner) treats her employees just as good as she does her customers and that makes me even happier to use them. The cleaning is always very thorough and detailed. Dona‘s team scrubbed, vacuumed, sanitized and organized my home in one session what would have taken me an entire week to do. I haven’t had a professional cleaning in over a year-and figured it would take three sessions to get this clean. Laundry piles put neatly into baskets, everything put in its place (how did they even know?) Even the sunroom is clear of cobwebs and the appliances sparkle. Very happy customer!

My only nit were that i left notes to clean inside the fridge (only two drawers) and inside the bathroom drawers, and that was not done. But overall it cost less than I expected and my house was sparkling when they left!
