I called them about 9:30 that morning and I received a follow up call stating they were on their way about 10:20. Needless to say, they never arrived. I received another call from a woman about 2:00 that afternoon stating they were in route. The woman on the phone was VERY RUDE. I asked her what were they gonna do upon arrival because I wasn’t at the salon, but someone was there waiting. She stated that they were going to remove the excess water on the floor, clean the carpet and put down an anti microbial and allow the carpet and flooring to remain because it was commercial carpet that was attached to concrete. I then asked were they going to remove the laminate flooring that was in the shampoo area because it had lifted it. She got very smart and rude and stated that it was not a level 5 contamination (meaning toilet water) so no we aren’t gonna remove it, mine’s was a level 2. You are not the owner of the building, you are the owner of the salon. You have to get permission form the owner. I said to her, I have permission in writing (lease) and I’m responsible for the floors and my shampoo bowl is what caused the damage. She then said, ma’am we aren’t taking up the floor. I said, I don’t understand, this floor is a hazard to my clients because of the lifting of the carpet and the laminate (click and lock) flooring. She said to me very rudely again, ma’am we aren’t gonna remove the floor it can be saved (she nor her crew has been in my salon to assess the floor). I am not gonna allow you to DEFRAUD THE INSURANCE COMPANY! I said, excuse me? I’m not sure if this is how the company handles these situations, however, I will ask you to reroute your crew to another location because you will not get paid by my insurance company

I told her before I asked her to reroute her crew that I used Servpro in my house twice and the carpet was removed. She told me it was because of the padding underneath the carpet had absorbed the water. I understood that. However, I explained to her that it was carpet underneath the laminate (click and lock) floor. She insisted she wasn’t going to remove the flooring as you read previously. I WILL NEVER CALL OR RECOMMEND SERVPRO TO ANYONE!!! She Should be fired and not making anymore phone calls!! People like her give companies bad reputations.

My pictures shows how my salon looked with the water on the floor and afterwards, but she said it could be saved. Hmmm only if you all want your business or home flooring to look like this if they come out. Last I checked the INSURANCE ADJUSTER MAKES THOSE DECISIONS NOT MITIGATION!!

JC Martell rated it 1/5: I got the expensive 3-hour service for two specific heavy duty tasks – vacuum cat hair out of the carpet and CLEAN (NOT light mop) floors. I made both tasks ABSOLUTELY CLEAR and DETAILED to both phone representative and cleaners and was assured they could/would be done. The result was totally unacceptable, not even close to what I was told they would do. Cat hair basically as before and floors (bath, half bath, kitchen) slightly clean in middle, dirty water at baseboards and corners and some places not even touched.
NOTE: They scheduled an appointment, the next day they called to reschedule, which I couldn't do because I had scheduled carpet cleaners. They hustled and got someone, and maybe they had to get less qualified people than usual??
