I was hesitant, as I didn't want my floors below to be damaged. I was ready to throw my area rug out because it had years of stain build up on it. The technician was not only willing to fit the area rug in as well, he actually made it look like new! I was completely in shock that he got so much out of it. I had forgotten how bright it was when I bought it until he was done! Side note, it's awfully satisfying watching the grime come up with each sweep!

I live in Norfolk and whoever makes the schedule sent the girls to Suffolk and Portsmouth before my house and still expected them to be done with my house by 2 pm. They didn't even arrive until 2 pm because they were set up for failure. And after my house they were sent to VA Beach!! The girls did an incredible job but I felt terrible for them. Whoever scheduled them was not concerned about the people they employ. I have the luxury of getting to know these pleasant people because I work from home. I just want them to be treated well. Their pay is determined by our ratings which is why I always give them a 10.

Holly C rated it 2/5: I’m not really happy with it. For an empty apartment, and about an hours worth of work split between two girls, $300 was pretty steep. They didn’t clean the stove, or oven at all, and when I asked why, they told me the cleaner they had wouldn’t do much. So I feel like I paid $300 for two girls to come in and mop, which is fine given the name, but according to the website this cleaning was supposed to be much more in depth. I feel ripped off. And now I’m mad because I have to go buy whatever I need to clean everything I was supposed to be cleaned in the first place. The windows weren’t cleaned either. I hate confrontation so I didn’t really push anything in the two minutes they looked at me and waited for me to say you can leave, but since then, I’ve found my stovetop wasn’t even touched, there’s grease on it from the previous tenants, the oven is still dirty, there is dirt on my floors and the counter, the cabinets are dirty, the sink is dirty in the kitchen, etc. This is a huge disappointment as I wanted it cleaned as a convenience and now I’m out all of this money and still have to clean everything. Probably will not recommend.

All three times they have been here they never touched the laundry room even though it’s included. The most recent clean they were here for only 50 minutes there just did a spot sweep and mop and missed way too many spots. They didn’t clean the window sills, appliances were left streaky. I definitely do not feel like I getting what I paid for.

My nerves manifested from the booking process being so easy and efficient that it didn't seem real. Could it really be this easy? Then they came on time first thing on a Monday morning and I was skeptical they were here on the day and time as promised. (Seriously, what has happened to my expectations as a customer when I need help at my house?) I was not as welcoming as I should have been, waiting for the other shoe to drop and suspected something, somewhere in the process would go wrong and became worried it would be in the carpet cleaning but no, I should have been better and generally more optimistic. They did an excellent and thorough job! I'll be having them back when I need other services. Also, very knowledgeable about referrals.

You have to call them to make any appointment, and they do not send you any confirmation email of invoice or payment. I also had a gift certificate of $200. They quoted me $96/hr . The team was thorough and efficient and finished in about an hour and a half. I tipped them $20 each in cash. When I asked a molly maid rep how much was left credited to my account from the gift certificate (I was debating telling them to give the remaining to the team or to schedule another cleaning with it) they said there was nothing left. That's about $50 that is unaccounted for. Even if the team had stayed for the full 2 hours, there still should have technically been a small about left of $8. I was not informed about any extra fees, extra charges, or anything. If their process is a minimum fee for services regardless of how long a team takes, they need to tell the consumer that. I will not be using Molly Maid again until they are more up front and transparent about this kind of thing. I don't mind calling for appointment scheduling, but they need to follow up with full details and payment invoice/confirmation in an email. Their calls are supposedly recorded, but there's no way the consumer can access that or verify what they were told. Highest praise for the cleaning team, and I'm sure the scheduling team does their best – but I'm disappointed and suspicious of the scheduling/payment process.

When I do alert them to something, they react appropriately and fix the issue. Typically, it's nothing major. Because I'm a perfectionist, I expect it, and So Clean Virginia Beach LLC largely delivers on that promise. They are things I intend to cherish forever. I fulfilled their request to clean my house today.

Then we ran across this business. These guys are seasoned, diligent, and amiable. They are even accommodating with scheduling, and the cost of their services is fair. She and her colleagues have gained my trust and will continue to have my business, thus I heartily recommend them.

The first cleaning service we hired quit after an hour because everything was covered in dust. Above and Beyond swiftly scheduled us and thoroughly cleaned our entire house. They were exceedingly diligent, professional, and polite. Sincerely, I can't speak highly enough about them.

I have been unable to clean prior to surgery and contacted Custom Maid because they received very good reviews from others in my neighborhood. I was not disappointed! My first cleaning was very thorough, better than I would do myself. I will be using them regularly from now on. In addition to doing a great job they are accommodating in scheduling etc. Highly Recommend.
Glenn James rated it 5/5: I have used this service for 20+ years, and as the saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." They are reliable – always on time and the work is always done right. They are nice folks. Occasionally, I have to cancel an appointment for business reasons – it's never a problem. I appreciate the ability to pay online with PayPal. There are a lot of other services available (I get their flyers on my porch all the time), but there is absolutely no reason for me to change. I am 100% happy, and I am sure that I will remain that way.

C C rated it 2/5: Scheduled a move-out cleaning a week in advance, had them confirm the day before only to be canceled that morning as they were too short staffed for the day, cool. Voicemail says to schedule it for next week we're open. Call after I get done with work, sorry we're booked up. =/

Make sure to ask after every task if it is done to satisfaction and if there is anything else. I wish I could give them more stars. They made the move in process so much better for my husband and I.
