Paul and his team took such good care of me and my Toyota 4Runner. I was paying out of pocket, and they worked with me to keep the repair costs down. The quality of the repairs they did were immaculate, a 10/10!! I also really appreciated the hospitality I received. Paul was professional, very responsive, and incredibly kind. This was by far the best customer service experience I’ve ever had!

Paul made it clear from the beginning that since I was paying out-of-pocket he'd try to save me as much as possible. Dealing with the team was a pleasure which was great as it was my first time getting my car repaired. The quote was very fair and much less than the other quotes I had gotten beforehand.
When the repair was done in a little over 2 weeks, the car looked perfect. They even fixed a previous cheap repair (glued on front bumper) at no extra cost to me. I highly recommend Allston Collision Center, they will take good care of you and your car!

As you can see from the pictures, my car was in desperate need of repair after a commercial truck smashed my trunk. The final pictures don't do the quality of the work justice.
They promise your car will look like new, and mine did! Plus, the team did a thorough detail, which led three different friends to say, "man, this car smells brand new!"

Even more important than taking care of my car was the way Paul and his team took care of ME! Whenever I called, Elaine would connect me with Paul or Abel. If they weren't available, they were sure to call me back. As my repair got closer to completion I could count on clear updates and felt assured that they were working to return my car as quickly as possible.

The service was SO stellar that I inquired about taking care of a small cosmetic nick in the paint that I had for a while. Paul graciously made sure that this was painted and ensued I got a rental car… they even dropped me off!!

All in all, this was THE BEST repair experience I've had- hands down! If you are in the greater Boston area I can't recommend the Allston Team enough…they made a process that can be so frustrating as smooth as possible and for that I'm grateful! I wish them much continued success…

One of the best decisions I ever made. Now I love cars even more. When the parts came in, my car was fixed so fast I couldn’t believe it.

However, the experience I had was horrible poor communication, lack of professionalism and poor customer service. I would never refer anyone to this shop. My car sat there literally almost 3 month's although there was a delay with my insurance company mainly because of Danny lack of communication which caused most of the delay. I usually only deal with Hicks Auto Body because he does excellent work and the customer service and communication is impeccable. This was my own fault I should have went to him there was no real reason why I didn't beside my nephew recommending I try South Bay Auto. Hugh mistake.

The Miata's clear coat was peeling in many places, exposing the base coat underneath. The car no longer had a sheen to it. In addition, there were several dings and gouges on the front and rear bumpers. Dave would send me photos of the car as pieces were worked on, and he listened to all of my thoughts and requests. Very happy with the outcome. The car looks brand new. I attached two images of the car before the front and rear bumpers were attached.

My car looks brand new like you would not be able to know that the bumper was hanging on for dear life a couple of months ago. I’m beyond satisfied. If you go to them be patient and understand the quality of work they do is worth the time it takes them to repair your car. Oh and the pricing is fair.

Ross Doty rated it 1/5: Had a series of unfortunate experiences here that showed a complete lack of communication, customer service, care and attention to detail. Would not recommend using this body shop.
I brought my car in for bodywork as tree branch had fallen on my car. This shop originally quoted 5-7 days for the work. I showed up 7 days later and was told that no parts had arrived and work hadn't started yet. I was frustrated that I had to show up to get this information and didn't get a call. I was told to come back in a week. I came back a week later and was told the parts STILL hadn't arrived. I told the shop I needed the car back and would bring it back when they received the parts. Magically, the parts arrived and I was told I could pick the car up that afternoon.

When I picked the car up it was still dusty and trim pieces that were removed were not re-attatched but just left loose in place. Work took twice as long as quoted but still felt like a rush job.

About a month later, I noticed water leaking into the car right where the work was done and a mold smell. I brought the car back to Acme and spoke to Steve who quickly looked at the car and said "I can't find where the leak is coming from, but these things happen, its not our fault". I brought it to another shop who identified a loose drain hose directly next to where the work was done by ACME- either disconnected by the original damage or by the work.

I brought it back to ACME with this information and Steve again denied any responsibility. Refused to look at the car again, and refused to admit the possibility that the leak was caused by the original damage and not fixed by the shop, or caused by the work itself.

My insurance finally has agreed that the water leak is associated with the damage and subsequent work, but not after I had to drive around with a moldy car for weeks.

Cannot stress enough the lack of care, communication and customer service at this location. Please go elsewhere

We went to other body shops and got quoted hundreds of dollars for re-popping the bumper out. The damage was minor with some scratches and we didn't think it would cost that much. After seeing positive reviews on Elite, we decided to stop by Elite for another quote and found Ken. Ken immediately took out his heat gun and worked his magic to restore my bumper. He even cleaned up and repainted the scratches all in 10 minutes. The craziest part was he did all that for free and just told us Merry Christmas! We have never been to Elite before and it was our first encounter with Ken. I want to echo other reviewers Ken's integrity. I'm very impressed with his kindness and honesty – he saved us from spending hundreds of dollars. Thank you so much Ken!! From the beginning, Ken was incredibly professional and absolutely lived up to all the glowing recommendations. He provided a fair and itemized quote, worked with the other driver of the collision for direct payment, and was incredibly approachable and communicative. He prioritized quality as well as minimizing the time without a car and had the new bumper painted and ready to install, so I only spent a few hours without a car. The work itself was beautiful and my bumper looks as good as new! Cannot recommend this shop enough and have told all my colleagues!
Logistically, his shop is about a 10-15 min walk to Forest Hills Transit Station so if you need to be without a car, it's easy to take the T.

front license plate bracket all were not replaced.
front passenger door edge is very rough (not buffed?) and missing edge guard
front right bumper is now chipped
Please advise what can be done to correct these issues

madeline maignan rated it 1/5: I will never use this auto body shop anymore. This is actually the first and the last time. There is no form of communication at all starting from the beginning, no updates on work they are doing. They had known that because of covid, auto parts will be back ordered and take longer to get here but they never mention it to customers about it but rather telling customers lies that the car will be ready in 2-3 weeks knowing the fact that it will not. They never bother to mention there's a possibility that there might be some delay on parts or giving me the choice to decide if I want to live my car for that long to get fix. I will never recommend this place to anyone. If there was a negative zero stars that's what I would have given them for what they did to me. I could have bring the car during my vacation if I was informed that the work is going to take longer. Unprofessional, manipulative, schemers and liar that's what they are, I should have never brought my car there.

Tom and his team pay very close attention to detail, work efficiently, and all at a reasonable price. Rom communicates very well about the project details and kept us posted on the status of the project. He also regularly reached out with questions and provided feedback as well. We were 100% pleased with the quality of the paint job which included walls, ceilings, trim, and cabinets. I recommend Thomas Interior Painting without hesitation.

Their paint job was super tidy – they even cleaned up old paint splatters and spills from the previous owner. Punctual, down to earth, very professional. Would be happy to have them back for any future paint jobs in the home.
C T rated it 5/5: Several weeks agoTom’s team painted , sanded and repaired wall, ceilings and woodwork in my living room , dining room, hall way, stairs, upstairs bedroom ceiling and bathroom ceiling. If they saw a problem, they fixed it. Even my rough old banister was sanded, stained and polyurethaned, revealing beautiful worm wood. I am so pleased with the professionalism, attention to detail and quality of the painting. I have been raving about Tom’s painting service to my family and friends. The team came on time, moved and covered all the furniture and then when all was finished, carefully moved the furniture back.
I highly recommend Tom’s Interior Painting for your home and feel confident that you will be as pleased with the results as I am. I hope to use Tom’s Interior Painting in the future.

There are many different levels of auto detailing out there. If you want a deep clean inside and out, including under the hood and engine area I highly recommend these guys. I met Chris, the owner, as he was the first person on-sight at 7:30am when I dropped off my vehicle. Chris explained in detail the level of work that would be performed. I picked up my car at the end of the day and met Chris again. Chris, the owner has obviously set high standards for the quality of work he delivers to his customers. Hard working crew.

Work was done on time and at reasonable rates. He also fixed my wife’s car for easily $3k less than other autobody shops were quoting. Jennifer was very helpful as I was not experienced with dealing with insurance / procedures with being in an accident. She was informative and helped me through the process. When I brought my car in, Chris was kind and went over what he thought needed to be done and I was updated throughout the week on what stage my car was in during repairs. I was really impressed with how seamless this process was and will be back if I have any future car needs!

Bill K. rated it 5/5: Hiring Rainbow Painting Pro was the best decision I could have made for my deck – they completely revitalized a huge part of my home that I thought was beyond saving! Beyond just performing excellent work, they did so at a price that I was able to afford. Rainbow stayed true to their quote and timeframe, and didn’t ask for an extra cent when the deck threw a few curveballs their way. The owner, Danny, was so great to deal with throughout the project and was personally really helpful to me as a new, first-time homeowner, explaining the entire project and giving me tips on other projects I’m trying to accomplish myself – I’d hire Danny and his crew again in a heartbeat!
For a better idea of just how bad this deck was – and how good Rainbow Painting Pro is – I’ve included the details of the job and some pictures of before and after:

We were almost 100% resigned to the fact that we’d need to replace all of the boards and likely the railings too, but figured we’d give refinishing it one more shot with a professional. Danny and his crew power-washed the deck, stripped and sanded down the out the old brown paint, (as well as the red/brown stain I’d attempted to layer over it, making it worse), and removed the old incorrectly applied waterproofing sealant. They applied wood-filler to the boards with major gouges and scratches, then painted multiple coats of Benjamin Moore solid-stain on the boards, railings, frame. They even painted the chipped-away door molding for me and didn’t ask for an extra cent. Once everything was dry, they came back and layered waterproofing sealant over the entire deck. All of this work was done in time for us to enjoy the deck for our first Memorial Day in our new home!

I can’t say enough good things about Rainbow Paint Pro. Thanks again to Danny and his crew for helping us out with this project!

The painters were professional and did an amazing job! Not only did they do a great job but just nice really people!! Kevin was on-site quite a bit and he too communicated expectations each day and discussed which room was next so we had time to prepare. Overall just so impressed and highly recommend Rainbow. Thanks again for an amazing job!!!!
