Because of the 5 star rating and free towing which was not true. I had my car towed there and I received an estimate in which I thought was extremely high over $11, 500. The Body Shop person Armando sent me the estimate and stated that he would get back to me later that day to locate part to give me an estimated time work would be completed . He never called back and after a week 10/04/21 I received a call from the receptionist asking if I wanted to continue with repair and make a deposit for half the repair cost. The next day I opted from repair at MTJ Paint & Body and was charged $2000.60 for storage fees which I believed to be unfair but if I did not pay it they would not have released my car. I told them I was a veteran and requested a discount. I explained Armando never tried to contact me, after the estimate which is $4,000 more than the Body Shop I will be using for repairs. I went to this place after passing over, at least, 5 more places giving me a mind blowing price for a small scratch in my car. Every other place that I went offered me to change the whole side of my car just because of the scratch and Charlie's was able to repair it and make it look like new. The did it in less time than expected and the car looks awesome again. This place is flawless. Amazing experience. I recommend it to everyone. Still not getting fixed or ready ,every time I call to ask when it'll be ready they tell me the same excuse that they are waiting for a part or waiting for the service technician , even told me the reason my car was not getting fixed was because the person was on vacation! Are you freaking kidding me ?!! Been paying out of pocket for rentals because the person is on vacation ?! Do not get your car serviced or repaired here unless you want them to take advantage of you or keep telling you the same excuse over and over again! If you have Geico do not take your car to this miami shop !

They were very knowledgeable and honest from the start: from asking anticipatory questions about claims status and my specific insurance company, to making a quick assessment of my vehicle's damage in comparison to my insurance appraisal, to making an accurate estimate of how long it would take to complete the repairs.

They were also quick to return my calls whenever I asked for a status update, and were honest about needing an extra day or two for additional damage discovered after removing the bumper and assessing internally, and they worked directly with my insurance company to relay the damage and get approval for the additional parts and service. They were even able to locate brand-specific parts for my Jeep at no additional cost compared to the generic parts approved on my insurance appraisal.

My baby looked good as new and they had washed it before I picked it up!

Some of the services they performed for us were: wall paper removal, skim coating walls, popcorn removal/skim coating ceilings, painting inside + outside, painted existing built in closet shelves, etc. Andrew was extremely professional and timely on all his communication. He was able to come by for a walk-thru and provided a very thorough proposal right away. There were no surprises during the project, as he took the time to initially explain everything, including scope of work and timeline on his contract. Andrew was very responsive and always available to answer questions, and address any requests/change orders. The workers were very neat and clean, and took precautions such as covering our hardwood floors prior to getting started, didn't leave or hose down any dirty paint supplies on the grass, and even considered paint chips/debris from landing in our pool during pressure washing (prep). As someone who is very into the 'little details' (unfortunately, to a fault), I would say that the overall quality of the work performed by this company is superb and they absolutely exceeded our expectations!

We are very satisfied with the removal of our pop corn ceiling and painting by Gables and Grove Painting. They employed a new technique that is a fraction of the mess and dust that pop corn ceiling removal is known for. The skill, attention to detail, care, and kindness of the whole team made them welcome workers in our home. I would not hesitate to recommend Gales & Grove Painting, and plan to use them again.
