Their professionalism, the quality of the work, the follow-up, and updates daily with photos were terrific. The entire crew was a pleasure to work with. From the very detailed and descriptive project scope/estimate, to the biweekly reminders of paint color selection due dates, to the daily status updates during the project, Crash of Rhinos excels in transparent communication and outstanding customer service. When we had questions or needed assistance, responses were extremely prompt and very helpful.

During painting the crew was timely, thorough and very responsive to our needs. They even finished ahead of schedule!

From the first phone call , they were extremely courteous and knowledgeable . They sent a proposal with every detail of what the job would entail . Nothing was left out . From the four paint colors on different areas to exactly what was to be done . One amazing point that was different from any other contractor was no down payment . Not even a percentage for paint and supplies . Pay when the job is finished. When Christian and crew arrived , they were meticulous in prep work . They sent pictures and a progress report every day . They were so polite in every conversation we had. They completely covered the pool and cool deck to prevent overspray .When they finished , everything that was moved was exactly back in it's place. I would return in a heartbeat if I ever need anything in the future! Frank and his team were nothing short of amazing and pleasant to work with. From the time I first made an appointment to the time I picked up my car, Frank was there to help and he truly cared about me and my car, and you can tell he really puts his heart into his team's work. My 2018 Corolla now looks brand new after my left side doors were chipped to hell and back from the original owner. There's virtually no orange peel in the results and the new paint was blended to the adjacent fenders perfectly. Even the metallic shine is so smooth and perfect like factory paint in the sun. My only piece of constructive critisim is my door jambs and plastic trim had some dried water/soap most likely from prep work, but it wiped off just fine and is perfectly understandable not to wash the car right after body work so the new paint can cure and last on my Corolla for years to come!

They painted a playset in our backyard and they were able to squeeze us in before Christmas to pull off a big surprise for our kids. I contacted them on a Tuesday and they were out here painting on Thursday. The communication was super quick and thorough, the price was very reasonable, and the paint job was seriously amazing. Raul did unbelievable work and Steven was super professional and great at communicating and keeping the project on track. They got it all done in about 6 hours! Will definitely be using them in the future and would highly recommend them to friends/family.

They fixed and painted the water damaged ceilings, replaced the rotten wooden frame outside the kitchen window, painted the entire exterior house and the the front and back door. The corporate office won't return phone calls. The manager of the office has terrible customer service skills. If you go here you will waste your money and time and the don't care if it's right. Terrible Terrible. Oh and they had the truck for a month and still blew me off.

Dennis Acorn rated it 5/5: I can’t say enough for the excellent service I have received from Maaco on Van Buren. I had my car completely painted, then a few months later I damaged my drivers door. They installed the new door and matched the paint perfectly! Yesterday I took my car in as the drivers side window came off it’s track. They took the door apart and fixed the window no questions asked. I would recommend anyone to go to Maaco on Van Buren in Phoenix. They will give you excellent service! Frank has been awesome to deal with too!

Ray Branson rated it 1/5: Worst paint job that I have ever received. Paint drip marks in the paint. Discoloration in the paint. Chips in the paint. The owner won't return phone calls. The corporate office won't return phone calls. The manager of the office has terrible customer service skills. If you go here you will waste your money and time and the don't care if it's right. Terrible Terrible. Oh and they had the truck for a month and still blew me off.

They were less than half of another large competitor which really surprised me. Their painters fixed the paint matching that I messed up and got a nearly perfect match. The painters were in time everyday and envelope worked on Saturday when the schedule got behind thanks to my color mishap. When completed, they even came back to touch up a couple of items. We are very happy and I would highly recommended them!

The main tech who does the body work seems to not take enough pride in his work, almost as if he were being paid to do the bare minimum.

The owner finally got directly involved and things rose to an acceptable level. He ordered parts, he should have ordered from getgo and got car looking as close to original shape before collision, before i took it home for last time.

My advice: if you have a daily driver beater that needs sprucing up, this place is perfect for you. If you have a luxury car or a car you care about or are OCD, I wouldn't.

And if you REALLY have to, get Owner involved from getgo and let him know exactly what you will accept as a finished product. The owner is that place's saving grace; he showed the most care out of eveyone i met there…eventually.

Update: I’ve come back for more work on my car and these are just some genuinely good people and skilled craftsman. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Just a good old fashioned family owned place. Great people.

I took my vehicle to this shop and was quoted a price by Reno and Dave.I put half down and was expected to pay the final cost upon completion. I expected my bumpers and emblems to be replaced with the ones I bought which was communicated…when I came to pick out paint they kept the old bumpers on and told me the ones I bought were trash my emblems were broken and part of one was on the floor..my car was painted along with mufflers smh overspray everywhere and incomplete buff and cut job…overall very unprofessional staff and didn't care about how I felt no remorse took pride in returning me my car back with my brand new interior damaged and my car wouldn't start had to get it towed away this place made me feel so uncomfortable…I completely agree with the previous review there is not enough compassion care or concern here at this place…they did a complete rush job on my vehicle.I never really leave bad reviews but I had to in regards to how I was treated at this place smh
