The actual work ended up taking an extra week than expected, but the end product ended up being phenomenal. I had some small rust spots that they were able to cover up. The old clear coat was entirely gone with a large chunk of paint missing. Afterward, There ended up being a few spots that weren’t absolutely perfect and a little paint in some spots it shouldn’t be (see photos), and they spray painted my trim pieces and some of that is starting to come off, but I didn’t expect it to stay long term anyways, and it wasn’t a service they normally do but they did it for me anyways.
The workers at the shop are the most friendly people I’ve ever met at a store and you can tell that Lu absolutely loves what he does and really cares about his customers. I got the cheapest paint option they had, and the estimate was accurate and ended up being what I paid.

Getting the paint done made my junker look brand new and I’ve been getting compliments on it left and right from people amazed at the condition it’s in. I am 100% satisfied with the end result and would highly recommend them!

Not only did I get my car back in just 1 1/2 days the price was UNBEATABLE!!! Super friendly and took very good care of me. I will be coming back next time I need a quality service done 🙂

Joseph Perkins rated it 4/5: My first review to Maaco for the Ross St. location was honest and critical. After paying $12,000.00 ( SPECIAL PAINT, AND LARGE VAN ) I was upset.
The van was dirty inside and out when I got it back. And there are 3 smudge marks within a couple of inches of each orher on the hood that occured when the paint was wet, there is also a one inch scratch on the front bumper that is new and was freshly painted. Despite these things I've decided my rating is to be 4 STARS for perfect body work. The 23 year old van, had allot of dents. The van was and is not perfect. And those other issues did not completely ruin the overall outcome. WELL, Lew did offer to redo those areas. I had to find peace of mind and the work done is a huge improvement. Pedestrians, neighbors, all say the van looks great. I even see people drive close up in parking lots for a closer look.
My apoligies to Lew and his team. Lew was polite and accomodating during this job.

A separate contractors work left me with an eyesore focal point window casing, and in a panic. Sisu was the first company on my list, the job entailed an undo and correction of layers of trim paint.

Sisu’s team helped me seamlessly get everything straightened out! (The journey even had a ‘discontinued paint’ snafu – who doesn’t these days. Which was addressed in minutes. And the finished product matches surrounding trim flawlessly… (I’m pretty particular about that 😬.))

The initial meeting with Kyle was informative and helped guide us thru the process. The bid was easy to follow and our question where answered right away. They where able to start our project and work around our very demanding schedule. They communicated at a high level and completed the job on time.
The work that was done, was beautiful. You can tell that everyone involved in our project truly cared about our satisfaction and doing the best job they could.

George from the office was incredibly kind and personable, and Mark was able to fix the issue, within literal minutes. The most amazing part? They did not charge me a dime. This is the type of customer service, and above and beyond attention that is so rare these days. I would recommend Burnside Collision to absolutely anyone. harley rated it 5/5: george, mark and stephanie all did a wonderful job taking care of my car. i was t boned 5 months ago and even with how busy they were at burnside collision, they still worked hard on my car and gave me compassionate and professional service. my car was in the shop for a bit but i know they were working as fast as able given that so many parts are on back order these days, the girl who hit me's insurance (allstate) was challenging to work with and they have a full shop right now. even when i came to pick up my car, they went above and beyond, doing things not even on the contract request like patching my tire and taking off a bumper sticker i didn't like. also the inside was cleaned and detailed a quite a bit more than they needed to, which was a nice treat. take your car to them, but know, like many shops these days it'll be a wait, but please be courteous and nice to them because they are all hard workers and caring people.
Julian Grimm rated it 5/5: I cannot recommend Burnside Collision enough. They repaired my 2017 Ford Transit Connect which was taken to them during the height of the pandemic. Supply chain issues during the pandemic created a number of headaches to get parts to accomplish the needed repairs. Which meant it took a lot longer to accomplish than anyone could have anticipated, which means the vehicle took up space in their shop a lot longer than anticipated. Which I know couldn’t have been great for them because they couldn’t use that space for repairing other vehicles.
But throughout the entire repair they were polite, courteous and really truly went above and beyond to the very end.

They changed the oil, detailed the vehicle and returned it with a full tank of gas. They made sure to thoroughly test the vehicle for any possible missed issues before returning it in perfect condition.

This repair took a whopping 14 months. Not because of any error on Burnside Collision’s part, but because parts were so hard to come by because of the pandemic! But every time I called to check in, they were kind and courteous and gave me a very detailed explanation on what had been done so far, what they were waiting on, and what was still left to accomplish.

They were also great about dealing with all the insurance hassle so that I didn’t have to lift a finger on any of that.

I am extremely pleased with the work they did and my overall experience with Burnside Collision. I will absolutely be bringing any future vehicle repairs to Burnside Collision. Thank you to the whole team, y’all are the best!

They handled all the insurance communication, were easy to talk to whenever I had a question, and completed a very professional job to repair my car. The paintwork is beautiful. They arranged my rental during my most recent repair. Sorry the Covid/Supply Chain/Labor shortage is slowing their ability (and their competitors) to get work done.

They also detailed the inside and outside of my vehicle so it was absolutely spotless when I picked it up. They also went the extra mile and removed some paint that had rubbed onto the other fender when I got too close to a post. I highly recommend them.

It took me many many interviews to re-find the Two Brothers Painting and they did a fantastic job on the exterior and they will do the interior soon. This is the 3rd project that they worked with us in the last 17 years. While the quality of the work is great, what made them stand out compare to any painting company in Portland (if you want info let me know) is being honest, straight forward, on time and simply a partner. David who is the facilitator really does his job very well – facilitates. Pablo is a great owner and professional and he is an exact estimator. He hired a color consultant to help us decide. That move made all the difference in the world. Everyone who sees the project loves it. Go with this guys and reward good business behavior.

They absolutely stuck to their dates and were very accommodating in meeting our needs for our extremely specific and demanding time frame and started and completed the job, as scheduled and on time. They were meticulous in prepping and paid great attention to detail in their painting. The house looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier! The crew were the nicest, most polite, friendly, and extremely hard working group. Their work ethic is impeccable. Tanya Raz rated it 5/5: Very friendly staff, getting paint was quick and easy. This paint is a bit on the pricier side but you definitely get what you pay for with luscious colors and durability. I love that you can get larger 9×9" paint swatches for free if you wanted to tape up larger samples and of course to get a good idea on sheens and paint a larger sample, you can get sample cans for $6. Aura is the top of the line and has primer in it already and 2 coats should cover just about any color wall but if you really want a flat you should go with regal, might take 1 more coat and not be as wipeable as Aura cause it doesn't have that primer in it but it isn't a problem if it's not a high traffic area or kitchen/bathroom. Also with Regal, you have more levels of sheen to select from than Aura, for instance, if you can't decide between eggshell or semi-gloss for molding, there is a sheen called pearl that is in between. The whole project took about two weeks and the work was of high quality. They were lead safe and did an excellent job with clean up. Our house looks fantastic! I would highly recommend Avanti painting!

The quote we got was much more competitive than the two other companies we spoke with. Avanti Painting was booked out for several months at the time of our contract signing but our job started right as scheduled. Daniel Rosborough rated it 5/5: We've used Avanti in the past and Dominick does a great job. We had a need for 2-3 different paint-related jobs and he Dominick worked us into his schedule. He was quick and the jobs look great. One of the issues was an area where he painted a section of the exterior of the house that takes a beating from the sun, but Dominick readily determined that it was a paint failure and considered it under warranty, though it had been 4-5 years since he painted up there. We were not expecting that treatment so were a bit pleasantly surprised, but Dominick has always been very contentious about his work. Will go back to him without hesitation.

Responsive to each question or concern I had. Provided professional opinion when I needed guidance in decision making. Always cleaned up at then end of the day. I'd hire them again. I will highly recommend them to friends and neighbors.

This was the first "proper" paint job in 20 years and–to say the least–the house was due for a top-to-bottom, first class paint job. We were blown away by the high quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew that painted our house. Having been around the construction business for for decades, one thing that says a lot about the quality of the crew working on a project is what the job site looks like at the end of the day. In this case, every ladder was stacked, every paint chip picked up and every tool was put away and made ready for the next day's work. On top of that the crew showed up 30 minutes early every day and was ready to go to work right at 8:00. We received a text message to let us know they were starting work and a message at the end of the day that the crew was wrapping up. As such, communications during the 3-1/2 week project were excellent and any and all concerns that we had were quickly or thoroughly addressed. The project came in accordance with the agreed to bid and working with Kevin Weinmann throughout the job was a real pleasure. He's a pro! The end result of all the hard work by the Weinmann crew is the best paint job in the neighborhood and a slew of complements from neighbors and passersby. We couldn't be happier with the work performed by Weinmann Painting and recommend them without reservation.

The entire team was fantastic to work with. George and his team did an absolutely extraordinary job and were thoughtful, helpful, and excellent at communicating expectations. It's so clear how much they care and take pride in their craft and enjoy working with people. We'll have future painting needs and I'll be using Weinmann for all of them going forward!

It took them over 2 weeks to paint it because they were meticulous. Jose was the lead on our project, and he was like the paint whisperer…. Lori runs the office, and she helped me so much with choosing the paint, and just dealing with my anxiety level about choosing the wrong paint. It was a joy to work with this company. Love them. They are really nice people too. Highly highly recommend.

However, Rod was very patient and extremely helpful throughout the the whole process. He helped me with work with the insurance and explained the whole process of what the repair entailed. He answered my numerous questions & kept me updated along the way. You can tell that Rod truly cares about his customers and the work that his shop does. I was very pleased with the repair job and Rod even helped with some other issues unrelated to the initial repair. 10/10.

They weren't on Allstate's "list" but they were excellent about communicating with myself and insurance. Even in the middle of this parts shortage and crazy ship times, they got everything needed and got me back on the road within 2 weeks (there was about $6k in damage done to my front end). And the car runs better than it did pre-accident! WestSide is far from the closest shop to me and while I very much hope to never need body work done again, if I do I will make the trip to them. Thanks, guys!
