I have been told twice that I would get a call from the manager or service rep to ensure this was taken care of and nothing. And now I am left to follow up yet again. Very frustrating.

They charged our card on file without our permission and days later have not scheduled a time to finish correctly the work. It turns out they subcontracted the vapor barrier out. If we don't hear back soon we'll be cancelling our services with them. Unfortunately it seems like in the change from Edge to Saela they've lost the great customer service they had before.

They came out and sprayed our house before we moved in and they come out quarterly. The price is great and they will also come out any time there is an issue. On those few occasions we have needed anything done they have come out within 2 days. We have had the same service guy, Brandon, for quite some time. He’s professional, efficient, and friendly. And anytime we call In the office staff who have answered are professional and fast. Some are kind of bubbly and others are polite, don’t speak like cheerleaders and that’s 100% okay with is. They are all professional and polite and efficient and that’s what we want and like. 10/10. Highly recommend.

    Problems have mainly been black widows on patio and perimeter of property, which is a concern for our smaller/compromised family members.

    He also got an active wasp nest taken care of, which was greatly appreciated.

    Although we may not be able to continue to justify the ongoing expense of service, Berrett had overall been very helpful and reliable.

  • DONALD THOMASSEN rated it 1/5: If you want a pest company that is ineffectual, has expensive contracts, and doesn’t return your calls for days on end, then Berrett Pest Control is the company for you. Because of numerous wasps and wasp nests in my backyard, I finally decided to call a pest company. I called Berrett Pest Control and agreed, unfortunately, to a three-month contract. The first person who came to my house was nice enough, and he sprayed around the perimeter of my house and in the garage; however, he was either unable to get rid of all wasp nest residue near my roof or just didn’t want to. Weeks later, residue from the wasp nests are still there. Additionally, I was told to give the spray time for it to take effect. So I gave it two weeks and actually saw an increase in the number of wasps in my backyard. Additionally, during that two weeks, at least one more wasp nest was built when the technician assured that the magic spray they put down would prevent more nests from being built. When I called to say I saw no decrease in wasps but actually an increase, they did another service call, took most of the new nest down (still not sure why they leave part of the nest there), and I still kept seeing wasps day after day. I finally called the office after a strongly-worded email was sent, and I received a call. The Berrett Pest Control secretary said they would send a different technician out. She also said I would hear from him that day (Wednesday, July 6th); today is Wednesday, July 13th, and I still have received no call and, tonight, had dinner outside with the wasps until we were forced to move inside because of them. Another payment was automatically deducted from my account this week since I signed a contract, and yet I have heard nothing for over a week and the wasp population, if anything, has increased. I am very upset with myself for hiring this company. When you have a pest problem, look elsewhere.

    All of a sudden I’m getting charged $43 a month on a recurring service and when I call to tell them there’s been a mistake I never wanted the recurring service they tell me its $100 to cancel the service…. What? They tell me its part of the agreement that I got a $100 “discount” for signing up for a recurring service.
    Agreement? Signing up? I never signed anything. I never agreed to a recurring service. I was never told there was a “discount”.
    What this amounts to is a low level scam that these crooks are pulling. If you have the opportunity, DO NOT use Berrett Pest Control, they’ve now squeezed me for $143 that I never agreed to and I can only hope that this review loses them more business ten times over for pulling this.

I regret I do not know his name, but I will call the office and talk to his boss at my first opportunity. He deserves to be recognized for excellent service.

She not only set traps but was proactive in putting a plan in place and scheduled a follow-up in a week’s time. Other companies show up, do a half hearted inspection, tell me what I should do, and charge me $100, which is garbage. The peace and mind of having a path to a solution and a follow up was well worth the price here.

I can't yet know what percentage of the bugs got dead, but the techs were certainly professional and the equipment was in good condition. Just one thing to be aware of, evidently they've got a way of disabling the techs' phones when their vehicle is in motion, so if they are running late it can be hard to get an updated ETA. We were told to expect the crew at 7 am but in reality they were getting equipment then and got to the house at 9.

The last time I did, I canceled afterwards because again, it didn't work, but they decided to charge me the regular price since it was within a two week period of my regular service, except no one told me they were going to charge me more than a week early. I asked for a refund and if course, they denied it.

I'll be filing a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General's Office and may seek recourse in civil court over what I believe to be a dishonest business practice.

Once you sign up for their service they treat you like an easy mark and constantly try to sell you other REAL expensive services. They never leave you alone.
Stay away from this company and read through anything that a solicitor at your door is trying to get you to sign.

I signed a contract with Terminix in May and paid for a year's worth of service up front. They showed up and did some initial work to address my mouse issue, which I was happy with .

My problems started when I began to find new dead mice and needed to schedule follow up appointments. The branch told me to go through their understaffed national call center to schedule, but the national call center kept telling me to go through the branch.

I found that getting ahold of anyone at the branch was a major headache — when their voicemail boxes were not full, they would not return my calls.

The rare times I was able to get someone to actually schedule an appointment, it would often be cancelled at the last minute, possibly because I live in the front range, a good ways away from their office.

When these cancellations happened, it was impossible to get ahold of someone who could explain what happened and reschedule. After waiting on hold with the national call center for close to an hour, I'd be told to call some local branch employee. I'd leave a voicemail, wait a few days for a callback, then rinse and repeat.

The technicians that have shown up have been great, but I can't deal with all the insanity involved in getting them scheduled. I've given up getting them to do any more work and am looking for a local company to take care of my problem — maybe even one with a receptionist that picks up the phone!

    Since I had a tenant moving in the day after the scheduled day, that was not acceptable. They refused to take care of the problem. I had canceled another company's treatment because of their promise to treat in two days. I was forced to call that company back and reschedule the treatment.

When you spend over 2000 dollars on something you expect maybe not great but at least good customer service. 4 hours went by and nothing, this guy was even ignoring our calls to where we had to call there branch just for this guy to give us some kind of update on where he is. He then told the lady he was still 45 minutes out. We then waited for over another hour canceling our sons birthday party now and it costing us another 500 dollars. We tried to cancel the service in the morning only for her to tell us she can't refund us anything. Thanks for ruining our son's big day and your tech couldn't even apologize. Very disappointing

When they did finally show all that was sprayed was a few baseboards.he was here no more ten 5 minutes. Nothing else. They don't hesitate to take the 259.00 dollars four weeks before they decide to show up. When you write a review they act concerned but then you never hear from anyone again. My husband could have done a better job then they did for the money paid way in advance. This company will act concerned when given a bad review but they don't really care because they already took your money. Stay away from this company. They will never call you back or fix the issue. We still have spiders in our house. Sure glad we didn't sign up for the quarterly spray. Don't waste your time or money.

  • Alan Janis rated it 1/5: I'm not entirely sure what I'm paying for here since a few days after my 2nd to last service I removed a spider web/nest from the corner of our house near our front door. While I was doing that, I noticed a crevice with wasps entering and exiting, so I used a high-end extermination spray on/in/around the area, used a wet-dry vac to extract as many insects as I could, broke apart and removed the nest and filled the crevice. Then today (8/29) just 8 hours after a scheduled visit, our electrician found another wasp nest starting around one of our solar panel breaker boxes. He was cool enough to remove it (paying it forward to the next electrician) and we exterminated the insects and sealed the damaged siding where they had started building.
    Basically what I'm saying is, everything I paid for, I've ended up handling myself for a fraction of the price using professional grade chemicals and a great electric sprayer that I picked up at Home Depot.
    I think my "Proof" is going to be a chargeback…. because seriously, spider web and wasp nests by the front door? Wasps building nests around breaker boxes (which is super common and obvious)? What exactly am I paying for here? C'mon guys, Ray Charles could show Stevie Wonder where these nests were, and you missed them on both visits.
