We unknowingly bought a roach infested house🤢😭 After two treatments by Alamo we stopped seeing live bugs. We continue to have them come every two months to keep this older house under control. She also shared that she noticed that weather forecast included rain during that time so hopefully that would take care of it. Love that she checked that out ahead of time.

Nick and one of his other employees always call back to apologize on his behalf. Twice (several months apart) two different employees of his tried explaining he had heart problems as reason for his grumpiness but after hearing exact same story the second time, I am suspicious this is a rehearsed story for customer empathy to excuse Mr. Melton's complete lack of courtesy in his communication with his yelling and foul language. Their first treatment was not successful and he was angered that we asked him to honor their 3-yr warranty. Truly I don't know how anyone has not experienced what we did; we couldn't possibly be singled out. By far the most regrettable transaction I've ever made; I would have paid more elsewhere just to not be yelled at and clear my bug issue. I am certain that if he replies to this review, it will be just as nasty-rude as his unpleasant phone calls have been. Highly discourage anyone from this business.

Last year I had a wasp infestation late afternoon one day and Rick jumped through the hoops to come to my house the next morning and they Got rid of the wasps. ☺️
This summer, we were entertaining houseguest, and we asked for a mosquito treatment. We paid $350, a lot more than we have paid for other mosquito treatments from other companies.

This treatment did not work whatsoever. After two weeks I contacted the company and they said they would retreat. Two weeks later we still could not have a meal outside and they said they would retreat even though I said it was not working and I wanted to cancel.

After literally 3 months of talking with them, I brought up they have 100% satisfaction guarantee and they said that does not apply because I did not tell them not to retreat, which I had. They refunded 30% of my money and said tough. Marla was rude. Rick is a great technician, but was not helpful in this situation.

Ameritech‘s customer service has always been great, but it has gone down hill drastically in the last year. Not sure what changed. Crystal and Others are still awesome at customer service.

I’m hoping the owner will find out what has happened and honor the 100% satisfaction guarantee so that I can continue to use Ameritech. .

They refuse to answer any questions and blame the outcome on the actual technician. Work was done on my property without any contract signed. There are better and more honest pest control companies out there.. AVOID this company at all costs and do your research.

Addressed our issue (a few ants in the kitchen) and worked a plan out to make sure we didn't have any kind of insects in the house. Erik also suggested a monthly mosquito abatement program that we were happy to use since my blood is (apparently) a favorite delicacy for mosquitos everywhere. Extremely fair pricing and they pointed out "hot spots" in our home that may be an invitation to pests and made suggestions to remedy them. Very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend them.

Adam Smith rated it 3/5: We’ve been using Arrow for mosquito control for about two years. In the past we felt that their service was adequate, and getting a reapplication when necessary wasn’t a problem.
Recently we’ve had some changes to our service that have driven us away from Arrow. The most recent technician has been to our property approximately 3 times. The second time he came he spent all of about 6 minutes at our property. He never even went in the back yard (we have cameras). After talking to the service manager he had him come back out, and then he did a better job. However…

Arrow used to use a leaf blower-like attachment that put out a ton of spray, and worked very well. Lately they’ve switched to a much less effective mister that probably has a quarter of the power. Point being, after two treatments, our mosquitoes were still out of control. And we get very little “debrief” on how to better control our mosquitoes.

We just had a new service come out, and their tech was on our property for almost an hour. He was extremely thorough and gave us a long checklist explaining how we can better control our mosquitoes. We unfortunately have to say goodbye to Arrow.

I keep my account active during spring and summer and take a pause during winter. Anytime I’ve called to cancel, they’ve been great. They want to make sure it’s not because of their service, but have never tried to convince me to keep the account active.

Berrett employees are very friendly, speaking with them feels like talking to an old friend. Beginning with the 1st person who signed us up for service, she was awesome, I appreciate her mentioning a coupon sent to an unused website. Sending Joel to do our1st treatment was great. Joel was wonderful, from wearing shoe covers, to answering all my questions. Joel's treatment of our house was exactly as I asked. He explained everything that was used. When all was complete, he asked to call him if anything else was needed. That was truly appreciated! I called Berrett on the Monday before Thanksgiving I spoke to James who kindly talked to me about a roach I found. I asked for Joel and thought it would be after the holiday before he would come to our house. James researched and Joel comes to our house the next day.
This is the reason I came back to Berrett after a difficult time. The people at Berrett are awesome in how they handle customers.

Some techs are lazy and do the minimum, but they all will do whatever I ask no matter how long the list, and are always pleasant. My tech today however, was amazing. I believe his name was Jeremy. He was in good time and didn't only spray: he also inspected everything as he went, and called me out a couple times to show me some different areas that needed to be sealed- which is super helpful!! He treated everything, inspected the traps to see what kind of bugs were getting in so we'd know if our current treatment was the best kind and communicated with me the whole time. He made sure my concerns were addressed and really went completely above and beyond in his job!

Despite wanting to pay a deposit upfront for an Orkin shield as well as yearly pest control, they had me sign a contract to finance it. I called and asked why and was given a bs reason, it must be some sort of commission but what they glossed over is that this creates a hard credit pull.

We wanted a rat problem taken care of, and a rat problem only. I was looped into a monthly pest control service. I explicitly stated I wanted NO chemicals sprayed on my lawn. The first time the tech comes out, he doesn’t even know we have rats. (Not his fault).

I call my contact, who I now know is simply a sales guy, and he assures me this won’t happen again.

Second time tech comes out, sprays the lawn again and we show him the contract of what he’s supposed to do. He is bewildered as no one has told him.

I call the home office to cancel, and the lady fights with me on whether or not I can cancel and what my contract says. I work in customer service as well. I know it’s difficult. But I was patient and trying my best to be kind and she was outright rude.

I asked for a written confirmation that my services are canceled and have yet to receive one 3 weeks later, but I did receive a monthly bill in the mail for service I haven’t even had.

The sales guy did get back to me, but only to try and push the Orkin shield after everything else had been such a failure. After that was obviously going to be a no, he hung up.

I did not get one apology for the absolute mess this company is. I was not told there would be a hard credit check for financing I DID NOT WANT. Not only did they not do what I was told, they did explicitly what I asked them NOT to.

This is an extremely shady company, I will make sure everyone I talk to knows to take their business elsewhere.

Remember that the person that comes to your door is a sales person first and foremost. They want you to sign asap and will gloss over what they really mean.
