This was the first time this particular person has been here . He needed time to understand my home and my needs. Management had him on such a tight schedule that I don’t feel he had adequate time. I received texts confirming the appointment, letting me know when the expert would arrive, and then a text letting me know he was at my home. Mr. Greg was very professional and did an amazing job explaining what he would be doing. He also offered to set up a complimentary termite inspection. He was very thorough, very professional, and very personable. Give Greg a raise!
We signed up for regular service, so we will see what the future brings. But if today was any indication, I am positive they will continue to be excellent.

He did an exceptional job and I would like to say I appreciate his effort to go the extra mile on protecting our home from spiders and insects. Lew dusted the house and cleaned a lot of webs. He put down traps and hit every ounce of the house and I would ask for him again.

We started a contract with Terminix in 2021 due to a carpenter ant problem in the home we were renovating. We told them for the duration of the contract that we were still having issues with carpenter ants, regular black ants, flying ants, spiders, and a wasp/carpenter bee infestation we were battling on the property. They came out twice, in addition to the quarterly services they claim to have been doing, and said they saw no bees/wasps anywhere. Well, the ant problem we had this spring was absolutely horrendous and WE, THE CUSTOMERS PAYING THIS COMPANY TO HANDLE THIS PROBLEM, had to figure out how to get rid of the disgusting amount of ants we had inside the house on our own. The wasps have become so bad outside our house that our back yard is unusable and unsafe to be in. My son cannot play in his yard because we’re terrified he’s going to be stung, and yet they still claim to not see anything. They did absolutely nothing about the awful amount of mosquitos as well. We called to cancel the contract with them because as far as we could tell, they weren’t doing anything and we were paying for nothing. Instead of cancelling like we’d requested, one of their service reps suggests scheduling a home inspection. So my fiancée takes time off work to accommodate this inspection and they never showed up. We told them to cancel the contract and we wanted a refund for the quarter, as we don’t feel any services were actually rendered. Thus began a whole onslaught of unprofessionalism and the worst customer service we’ve ever encountered. My fiancée was hung up on and lied to by the staff REPEATEDLY. They denied the refund even though they couldn’t provide proof of services being rendered. We thought one person might actually be trying to help by giving us the phone number to their corporate headquarters, but it was a bad number. We filled out the exiting survey where they said someone from customer care would contact us, that was about 2 weeks ago and we still have not heard from anyone. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH A TERRIBLE COMPANY.

Talked to 4 different agents – not one of them set me up correctly. Had an appt for pest control for Thurs, 4/28 between 3-5pm. Took a half day off work for this. Called two different times on Thursday. The guy never came, never called. Waiting on a supervisor to call me back which I'm willing to bet he won't. The last agent I spoke with told me there were no notes in the system on the quotes I was given nor was there even pest control service set up like I was told specifically it was by the 4th agent Tuesday night. After dealing with 6 agents and none of them knew what they were doing, I told the last one to cancel everything. I'm not going to give business to a company who has 6 different agents telling me 6 different things. The lady didn't even care when I told her to cancel everything. What a waste of a lost half day at work.

I then called back less than 15 minutes later to cancel because a local pest control does the same service for less than $100…. when I called back terminix claimed to cancel my service but will not release the $300 funds back to my bank account for 7 business days! I do not recommend!!! They will charge you before service and they will not release your money for days if you do cancel! There are cheaper options locally!!

I was on vacation in June and cancelled my service as I was selling my house the following week and the new owners could make a decision about continuing. They came for two different treatments when told not to. I have refused to pay both outstanding invoices, however the local branch manager, corporate or anyone else within the company will call me back to resolve. I am told it will be taken care of when I call someone, but get another invoice a couple weeks later. I cannot even get anyone from corporate to take the calls to resolve. I will never do business with them in the future. Certainly quick to invoice, slow or non-existent to resolve issues.

After they have done the brown recluse service that I paid 1000$ and I signed up for the quarterly service, I kept seeing spiders in my house. I asked them to stop the service because I basically paid for nothing, the technician said the service will only be 60$ instead of the 119$. After the service he has performed I was charged 119$, I talked the technician he said they are going to refund me, but no refund, and kept telling me he is going to talk to the manager and the refund has been processed. After months still no refund, he texted me saying he is coming to the quarterly service with 0 charge, I said no dont come I haven’t gotten my refund , he continues on coming to my house the next week without my permission and charging me 119$ again!!! I called customer service they escalated the situation and yet no refund!!! This situation has been going on since February and still haven’t gotten my money back. I call again, and this time a branch manager handles the situation, I sent all the texts between myself and the technician because he didn’t believe me and then he ghosted and never heard from him again. Very unprofessional service !!

We alternate between inside and outside. We never have any problems. If we do see a pest inside he is usually dead. They call or text a few days before they come and they are always there. They go above and beyond literally. My 87 yr old mom gave one of the guys a dead bug in a plastic baggie to see if it was a termite. It was not. These guys are awesome

I get there and the guy had already done the inspection and left, so we finish the actual home inspection and realize that we hadn't seen or heard from the termite guy. Our home inspector said that he left just before we showed up. No problem. So I call and ask for the report and was told that the guy had left early and didn't submit the report and that I would get a call on the following Monday to collect payment and for them to submit the report. Here it is an entire MONTH later and my realtor calls me looking for the report. So I call and speak to Lanier James who instead of actually seeking to solve the issue immediately becomes confrontational and offered no solution or help. I would NEVER recommend them. Regardless of the service they provide, if you don't look to make your mistakes right,you don't deserve referrals. Use Orrin or someone else to do your stuff at least you might get treated like an actual customer.

Norm Tidwell rated it 5/5: Received Quarterly Termite inspection bill. Since it had not been done we called Cooks office, and was told that they had decided to only do it annually. We had no notice of this change since we were advised by Cooks that they had to be inspected quarterly. I took several das of calling before a supervisor called back and said they only needed to do it annually. Was NOT very polite nor customer service friendly. when we said that we may get other service quotes he said go ahead. We have been a long time Cooks customer but the service level here in Memphis has been going down. Not a happy customer now. Norm

District Manager got involved and very professionally addressed out questions and concerns. The Company is great and the issues were only a communication gap. Plan to continue to be a customer and appreciate the positive response from management.
Jennifer Hook rated it 5/5: Lorenzo is always polite, professional, and accommodating. We run a headstone company and as you can imagine, we are very busy. This is also a very old property. It is next to a train track, and we got lots of rats and other small creatures like cats and the fleas that they carry with them. He helped us come up with easy and practical solutions, and helped us get the situation under control. We love seeing him each month when he visits us.
Devin Bloodworth rated it 1/5: My name is Devin and I worked with Cook’s for a year. Throughout my “career” at Cook’s, I really did touch and change a bunch of lives within the company. The company is family owned and very Christian based which is a very good environment to be in, just not in memphis. As a technician, everyday I surrounded myself around chemicals, got sent to the most dangerous places in memphis, and as well as the worked with people who were no leaders or did not want to take the time to help you, fearing of their own time or money. I planned on dedicating a long time to this company, but fell short due to a manager mistreating not me. I feel ashamed beyond existence I spent a year with this company. I’m very glad I have my very right to apply my statement to help future clients with this because that is what my job will always be whether with a business or not, honesty.
Stu McAfee rated it 1/5: Extremely fast to send salesmen and get you to sign a contract, then the worst service of any company I've ever dealt with. Left trapped pests to die and rot under my house until we had a severe fly problem. Left a green rubber bulb of poison on my porch next to my toddler's toys. Did not service my house on the agreed schedule, and then overcharged me when I demanded mosquito service on time. Most recently someone came to my house after I cancelled service, and then they charged me. I disputed it on the phone with them, they agreed to cancel the charge, but then sent it to collections. DO NOT get involved with this is a truly awful business.

Nina G rated it 1/5: I have been with this company 7 years, for the last 2 months I have been unable to reach anyone, when I finally spoke to someone he did scheduled an appointment no one show up but yet I received a bill in the mail about my contracted service that I pay on monthly stating if not paid in full by August it will go to collections. How is it you all have time to send a bill but not schedule an appointment for my home to be sprayed? How can you send something to collection that I have an agreement on to pay monthly and I haven’t missed a payment!
You all are very unprofessional for not giving your long term costumers an explanation as to what is going on with this company. If you all will no longer be in business give us the opportunity to seek other means of service for our homes.

Ezra Riggins rated it 5/5: I work here so it’s hard to really review, although Good Earth is a great company, all the techs are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, passionate, and willing to go above and beyond for their customers. The pricing is unbeatable compared to other companies that don’t compare to Good Earth. The office staff, honestly the company wouldn’t run with out them, they will always do what they can for the customer to make getting pest control completed as simple as they can, knowledgeable about the services, and know the best routes available as to what works best and what doesn’t for commercial services as well as residential. Like I say I work here so it’s hard to review but have more customers than I can say highly talk well about good Earth, the techs, the service, and the prices . I definitely highly recommend giving the company a chance and really know you won’t regret it. They do offer Termite, Pest Control, Wildlife, Mosquito Treatments (April-October) and service residential as well as Commercial. Just a side note I wasn’t paid for this review, although feel some reviews don’t do this company justice.
Ursula Atkins rated it 3/5: Contacted Good Earth last year to replace my previous pest control company. In the beginning, they were very responsive and on the first time out, they were very thorough. Afterwards, I have had to call just to keep them on track with quarterly scheduling treatments as they were not contacting me. For this month's, August, treatment, the tech that showed up was rude and acted as if I were an inconvenience to him. Not only that, he did a half-hearted job and then lied about what was done. I contacted the office and requested for a re-service and a different technician. I also had to remind Good Earth that I pay for my service contract, it wasn't free, so needless to say, I expect good and timely service appointments. Hopefully, they will get better.
Vanessa West rated it 2/5: Our neighbor referred Good Earth and the salesman was very kind and the prices were reasonable compared to some other quotes we'd received. I also liked that they used a gentler mosquito treatment. We went with the full package of termites, pests, and mosquitos. That was about the best of it because after that it's been nothing but frustrating. Lots of rescheduling and multiple people calling to reschedule in the beginning without knowing other people were calling to reschedule for different days, lots of no shows on their part, two times I've asked to speak to the manager and was told he would call me but he's never called, when they come out to do the mosquito treatment they wouldn't do the full property-some would only do the front of the house while others might do the front and side but wouldn't even touch the backyard. There have been a few times where I've seen the employee only do the front and when I ask him about the backyard he would lie and say he did it. Just because they say they'll do something does not mean it's true, you definitely have to follow up. As others said in their review, I have to call them-they make it sound like you're on a rotation but that has not been my experience-if I don't call, they don't come. I do not recommend this company at all.
