Please see screen shots of reviews from other sources. They blatantly misrepresent the services and prices to get you to sign up. Then they don't even bother to show up to perform the contracted services. And, when you call them on their unethical (if not illegal) practices, they blame it on the customer and say you should have read the contract more closely! I will be making a complaint with state consumer protections office as Hawx basically ignored my complaint with the BBB.

    This summer a sales manager on a segway was going around the neighborhood hocking a discount pest control bundle. He said that we would be billed $39/month from April to Sept. for the outdoor service, $50 quarterly for the general service, and that my first bill would only be $50 for both services. He also said I could cancel at any time, but there would be an early cancellation fee of $300. He said that the early cancellation fee would only apply if I cancelled before being billed a total of $300 on services. He indicated this was their way of making sure they at least got their money back on the initial discount. I have been fighting ants for the past three years, so based on the prices and billing dates outlined by the salesperson, it sounded like a good deal and I signed up with him that day.

    My first service went fine, but I did not notice any difference in my yard ant problem. They said that was because activity might actually increase after the first application, so be patient. After that, they kept rescheduling and cancelling my apts for various reasons, but continued to bill as if services were provided. I also soon noticed that I was being billed $89 every month, not just the $39 for summer months and $50 quarterly. I contacted the company and said that I wanted to cancel my service because not only did they misrepresent the billing, they didn't even provide services. They told me that I could cancel, but would be charged $600!! They were going to charge me a separate $300 cancellation fee for each service that was included in the "bundle." I said that was completely unreasonable given what I was told and how many services were missed. The customer service rep basically told me I should have read my contract more closely. She told me that the only thing she could do was to remove one of my services and the corresponding cancellation fee. Given that, or a $600 charge, I opted to drop down to the general package which I thought was only going to be $50, but she told me since I cancelled my other service they were now going to upcharge me to $60/mo instead! I told the rep I would be filing a complaint with the BBB and that I no longer agreed to have my bill automatically withdrawn as the amounts billed are not the same as stated by the sales manager.

    I filed a complaint with the BBB immediately after speaking with customer service outlining my experience including the poor outcome with the representative I had just spoken to. I requested a cancellation without charge and a refund for the months not serviced, but the company submitted a response to the BBB saying my issue had already been resolved when it had not. No one reached out to me about my business complaint regarding billing/refund/cancellation.

    I am now getting calls regarding my bill as I am only paying as I go until I can get this issue resolved. Convenient how no one has time to reach out and resolve this issue, but they have time to call me and make sure I pay for their lack of service.

    TLDR: They misrepresent their services and pricing, then refuse to properly resolve customer issues. This is a reoccurring problem based on several other reviews.

I called 2 minutes before closing time and was surprised to get a live person!  I was scheduled for service the next day. Peter was prompt, professional, and took care of issue. I saw results within 24-48 hours. The pricing was reasonable and the follow up service was appreciated. Peter is awesome and patient and took the time to answer all of my questions and give me helpful tips! I will definitely use the services again if needed. Great Job!

He told me to email him, at his Gmail address. I did. No response. I went on their web page completed the initial contact information form describing the bug issue with our contact info. Still no response and its going on 3 weeks.
    If they are experiencing a shortage with employees/if there will be a delay in response they should be able to tell us. Their reviews is what lead me to Sons of Tun Pest Control. We are new to the West Allis area and I have never seen this type of service from a 4 Star organization. We will never call back, and a part of me believes this is what they wanted. He was careful to not put poison where our doggies could get to and asked frequently if the dogs went to certain areas. I really appreciated that! He is reasonably priced and local. Every time they switched or lost technicians, we would have to call to find out when we would be serviced. They show up unannounced, and have to come back (we are required to give 12-hour notice to tenants). They have not taken care of the problems at hand. The technicians are rude and unreliable. When we had to call to figure out when they were coming out to service PER OUR CONTRACT, we were told we are not worth their time for the money! Generally contracts should be renewed and handled professionally. Not by a rude kid, who has no professionalism. We are taking our business elsewhere.

    To give credit, the K-9 bedbug team is amazing.

I called and made an appointment with Zoran who was a pleasure to talk with. I had to reschedule almost immediately after making the appointment, and Zoran was really accommodating. He was able to come out the following day. Zoran was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was going to do. The pricing was very fair, and the service was far better than anything you would get from a big name company. I also received a one year warranty with the service. I ended up having a spot in the yard with ants that was missed and Zoran was able to come over and take care of it and it was covered under the warranty. Fair pricing and excellent service! I would absolutely use Bug Masters again and would recommend it to anyone in the Milwaukee area looking for a good exterminator.

When you are in need of a service in an emergency and you look for a service and they are advertising 24/7 and when contacting them all they want to do is sell a contract. Not a good company.Finding Bug Master was a God sent. Zoran would have come immediately on Saturday, but we had plans. Instead Zoran came on Sunday morning.We were more than satisfied with A1 Service. Highly recommend.

Since they have been here, we have not had any issues with bugs. They were super prompt at coming out to assess the situation and walked me through exactly what they recommended to resolve the issue. The team that came back out to close off the entry points and respectfully remove the bats that were accessible did so humanely, made sure the bats were safely outside, and took hours ensuring they couldn't get back in. Everyone was extremely kind and knowledgeable.

Living in the woods brings many different wildlife that we love to watch, as long as they are in the yard and not in the house. The kids and 3 cats have grown and moved on. However, one very smart squirrel moved into our roof line, and some mice moved into the basement. After trying our best to get rid of these critters, it was hard to know what to do- Skedaddle was our answer!! From the at home sales call to the team that did the heavy work, including climbing up high, Skedaddle has been extremely professional, hard working, friendly, and experienced in problem solving. Mom squirrel was humanly asked to leave , yet was given time to get her babies out and find a new nest/home in our heavily wooded area. We are happy, and I’m sure the squirrel family will also be happy and thriving for us to watch from our front door.

Upon calling Skedaddle about what I thought was a squirrel in my chimney I was given an upfront price quote, clear list of services it included & their availability was the next business day. Kara Ericson & her coworker arrived on time & after ascending the roof to investigate, notified me that there was actually a plump raccoon living in the chimney. Even though their game plan had to change I was assured the pricing would be the same. Once the raccoon was humanely coaxed out the team capped the chimney opening, cleaned up its nest & deodorized the fireplace. They kept me informed on what was going on throughout the process. I also really appreciated the little things they did like removing their shoes in the house & sending me this awesome picture of my temporary tenant. They did a great job!
