  • Sara Sheibley rated it 5/5: We've had them out many times to do repairs but recently we had the faucet replaced (because the builder put it too close to the wall for us to do it). Excellent job. Great communication. Showed up when they said.
The water heater they got us in for an estimate the next day then for the replacement the following day. The communication from everyone was clear and concise. The estimate and our options given as well as what was recommended.
They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and double checked everything before they left.
Always happy and I really like Derrick. He's super nice, a great tech!
  • michele wells rated it 5/5: Repair costs are a little bit on the higher side, however the amount was worth the piece of mind that a good job was done. Joe Allen replaced our dripping faucet and some piping, etc. The way the vanity was built made it very difficult to replace anything and the pipes not in code. Honestly, this was a project we could not do ourselves. The old faucet was also an issue in itself trying to remove it.

Joe Allen was just wonderful to deal with. He was not only professional but just a nice person. I felt very comfortable with him in my house. Also, he arrived when expected (even early – dispatch did ask if that was okay), the first time he arrived. When it was recommended a get a new faucet to fix the issue, as well as replace pipes under the sink which where not in code, I was able to choose the faucet of my liking and was given a choice of different costs up front for the entire project. The new faucet needed to be ordered and thought it would take at least a week, however I got a call within 2 days stating it was in. I made a new appointment for it to be installed, and dispatch kept me informed when Joe would arrive.

The entire experience was top notch and I would use Len the Plumber again. If. you do decide to use their service, I would recommend you ask for Joe. I will be using him again for sure.

Lastly, if you decide not to use their service you have to pay the 49.00 gas fee. Honestly, I know some people found this unfair, but honestly I don't blame them.

  • mariah duffy rated it 5/5: Everyone we spoke with while retaining their services was really helpful and responsive. The plumber they sent out, Dylan E., was just terrific! He was knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything to us clearly, and he had such a positive attitude. It was infectious. His 10+ years of plumbing experience were clear as he worked quickly and neatly. If you need any plumbing done I highly recommend this company, and if Dylan is available you will be lucky and thankful to have him as your plumber!
  • Kiana Lawyer rated it 5/5: I had a great experience with Mr. Michael. He removed an old garbage disposal, put in a new drain, then installed a new disposal on the other side of the double sink as i desired. He was professional, courteous, clean, timely, knowledgeable, and just good company. As a 4th generation plumber, he was a wealth of knowledge and offered to save me time and money by doing the pre-work for a new dishwasher I plan to install in a few weeks. Im glad to know my plumbing is now up to code. He plans to retire in a few years and he deserves it but it makes me sad because they just don't make them like Mr. Michael anymore.

He advised what follow up steps I needed to make sure there is no mold after a leak. He contacted the restoration department for me and set up a same day appointment. He was efficient and took little time to make the repairs. He wore booties which is a requirement for me. I really appreciate that Michael and sons sends you a photo of the Technician and a write up that is excellent customer service. I would recommend Michel and Sons and Adam is the best. The arrival was also spot on and he called to say he was on his way.

  • Tatiana Rey rated it 5/5: My water heater broke down. I called couple companies at night and only Michael & Son scheduled appointment for next day. Ted came and replaced my old water heater since 1996 year. Ted is very professional. Work done excellent. He explained me everything and differences between 50 and 80 gallons. The huge plus he has everything in his car and I didn’t need schedule another appointment for setting all up. Another plus I have 1 year guarantee on work and 6 years on tank. If something happened with tank during 6 years Michael & Son will take care and will contacted with manufacturer by themselves. Ted saved my comfort in life and now I can celebrate new year with hot water. Thank you very much for highly professional service!
  • varghese joseph rated it 4/5: The work was professional and great. The service was so quick. I phoned on a Sunday and I was scheduled for Monday.
Below is the work that was done and what I paid.

    Work on water heater:

    1. Changed pressure valve- $317.27

    2. Changed the tray/drip pan- $494.95

    3. Fix a leak on a different copper pipe(not on water heater) – $80.00

Total Approximate work hours: 4 hrs

    Approximate per hour charge- $215.32

  • Leah Brewer rated it 1/5: Fixed a leak, pipe leading from house to sidewalk. Leak was at side walk. Did not affect inside house. Removed bathroom sink, added a new valve when old valve worked fine. Left us to put dry wall back. Put cut out in drywall to get to new valve. We had to put sink back.
Filled sidewalk with dirt & rocks. 1st rain it collapsed. Called to have them come out. Response "be out this week". No show. Called again "be out today". No show. Called 3 times. "Be out this week to refill with gravel". No show. Side walk had sat like this for 4 weeks. It is a hazard for people walking or car pulling into driveway over it. I called concrete company to come fix. 5 weeks later I still do not know if Michael & Sons plans to come out or if they ever did.
The employees here who did the work were very professional, nice & hard working. But do not know why they had to do work in bathroom. Leave us to fix everything. Then never show to fix problem that was their fault. Thankfully Baltimore County let us use their caution cones.

Barry Greengart rated it 2/5: The technician was fine, courteous and efficient. No problem with his service. Took him a maximum of 45 minutes of his labor to snake out the clogged drain using his machine. No parts replaced. He also put a mesh over the storm drain. However I thought the price was outrageously high (over $700. for a 45 minute service call). I don't know your pricing structure or the going rate for this service. But I will surely do price comparisons with different companies before I call again.

  • Caitlyn Greenburg rated it 5/5: Kenny was beyond amazing. He was quick to assess after checking all of the options for clean out drains. He recognized that it was bigger than just a back up and arranged for sewage cleanup after he cleared the drain. He was professional, efficient, and patient and communicative when speaking with my landlord. I would call this company if I can have Kenny’s help every single time. Great work!

Also, the fact that I called and was able to get someone out to my place in less than two hours was incredible. The last time I used them, the technician reached out two hours before my appointment window. Super quick and efficient!

  • david & holly garrison rated it 5/5: Zach was very friendly and professional. He was up front with the cost and made an honest assessment of our initial issue (a wet spot in front of the bathroom – was not a leak – someone spilled water there – me!) which did not need the attention that we thought. He cleaned out our drains (our other issue) carefully and well, making sure he had a well-working tool. He actually had to buy another snaking machine, came back the next day with it and was done in 15 minutes. I really appreciated his candor. He was a very nice and knowledgeable young man! Thanks Zach!
  • Peter Mofrad rated it 5/5: We had an issue with our water heater. Had one company come out first, and they quoted us and exuberant price so we decided to call Roto Rooter as a second opinion. Not only did they show up less than 2 hrs of the initial call, but they fixed the problem within an hour, and saved us a lot of money. Our tech was Min and he was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. So thankful that we made the call and had such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be using them in the future!
  • Max Castillo rated it 3/5: We called a plumber to identify the source of a leak happening in the basement. We were given a window of 8am to 12pm for a plumber to arrive at my house, but they did not arrive until about 2:30pm. Upon arrival, the plumber insisted on replacing the O-ring on the toilet where we suspected the leak without looking first. We had just had it replaced and knew it wasn't the source and told him as such. Despite this, the plumber insisted on replacing the O-ring anyway at a cost of $375 to rule it out. Of course, that didn't resolve the leak.

The plumber then said he'd have to cut into the wall in the first floor powder room to examine the pipe for potential cracks, which is what we expected from the beginning. While cutting our drywall, he cut too deep and actually cut through the wall into our kitchen behind our kitchen cabinets. We knew he did this because 1) he came out and looked at our kitchen in the middle of his work; 2) there was dust all over our counter top; and 3) there was a wire dangling between the cabinets that was not there before. When we confronted him about this, he denied it entirely, saying the cut was already there and it wasn't his fault. His refusal to accept his mistake was more annoying than the mistake itself. He ultimately did identify a crack in the old iron pipe and replaced the pipe with PVC. We were charged $1,325 for the pipe replacement, which was okay, we just wish we weren't charged the original $375 on top of that for the O-ring. Total cost was $1,700, which doesn't include fixing the massive holes in our drywall.

Josh Neiman rated it 5/5: I have used Saffer for many things over the past few months–some planned and some emergency. Every time they have come to our house they have been fantastic–professional, friendly, efficient, and thorough. I am glad we found them and we won't be using anyone else for our plumbing needs.

Most relevant reviews:

  • Michael Gaunt rated it 5/5: I had a pressure reducing valve, backflow valve and water heater expansion tank installed and replaced. Dale was the technician who came out and he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. It was refreshing to deal with someone who cared about their work. This is the first time I’ve used Saffer for anything and it will not be my last. I thought the pricing was very reasonable for the caliber of work I received.
  • Cory Lucas rated it 5/5: All of my interactions, from initial phone call to signing for payment were handled courteously and professionally. I was informed of all repair needs, given options, and never pressured. Most importantly because I had gas leaks and a very old boiler, I felt my family's safety and welfare was their priority. We were offered heaters due to colder temperatures until our heat could be restored. They welcomed my questions and concerns. Communication was excellent through the whole service.
  • Josh Neiman rated it 5/5: I have used Saffer for many things over the past few months–some planned and some emergency. Every time they have come to our house they have been fantastic–professional, friendly, efficient, and thorough. I am glad we found them and we won't be using anyone else for our plumbing needs.
  • Monica Hetrick rated it 5/5: We have had nothing but positive experiences with Saffer Plumbing over the many years, two houses, and multiples projects we’ve used them for including installing a hot water heater, installing new toilets, replacing a shower faucet, replacing a dishwasher and garbage disposal, snaking pipes, etc. They are always on time, responsive, knowledgeable, professional, reliable, friendly, and fairly priced.

Most recently we noticed the seal on one of our toilets seemed to be leaking slowly at its base. They came out that same day and fixed it immediately. The plumber shared that while the toilet was past its original warranty since those same toilets now had a longer warranty than when we originally purchased them, the service was completely covered. It cost us $0 for his repairs other than the tip we insisted he take for his exceptional service. He went above and beyond as all Saffer staff do making sure to expertly fix the issue and leave the repair area cleaner than how he found it.

We have enthusiastically recommended Saffer Plumbing to friends, neighbors, and coworkers alike and everyone has been as satisfied as we have been.

I cannot strongly recommend Saffer Plumbing enough.

  • VIOLA HSIEH rated it 1/5: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU HAVE REPAIR, ASK FOR THE DETAILED PRICE OF EACH ACCESSORY!!

Our hot water boiler has an issue during Christmas Holiday, and we waited a few days later after the holiday so that we should be able to get a “normal reasonable service fee”. However, we were still getting a very bad experience.

We figured out there are some issues with the boiler gas valve. The technician arrived and identified like what our thoughts. He said the problems are the gas valve and its connected accessories to the burner, and he charged $396 to replace them. My husband thought the technician is going to replace the valve and connected accessories, and the charge of $396 included a gas valve, accessories, and labor fee, so he agreed with the charge.

The technician started to replace the thermocouple in the first place, and it turns out the boiler is alive. So he did not change the gas valve. But eventually, he still charged $396. It takes less than 20 minutes to fix the problem. The material of a thermocouple is only $11.5 on Amazon, but he still charged $396.

The charge of $396 is way too much. And I wrote an email to complain about this issue to Saffer. But they ignore it without any response.

They ask me to write a review. Here I am.

Do not be cash cows like us. Even the review of Saffer is good. Do not too trust what they said. Ask for a detailed charge including every piece of accessories with their labor fee.

Do not be cash cows like us.

Updated. They won't tell you in advance that they charge $396 on Xmas holiday, they said on-site estimate only….Not to mention, we asked service on normal day!!They won't reply your complaint email…

You can expect nothing less than top-notch service when you call on Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Greater Baltimore.

Daimenin rated it 5/5: The first company I called which promised "same day" service said that they could be out 4 days later. Needless to say I decided to call try a second company instead. So glad that I did. Not only did they come out the same day and fix my water pipe which was leaking right at the main line coming into the house. But the plumber finished within an hour and no tricks about the job being more difficult than he expected and no raising the price after the original price was quoted. Will definitely use again and will recommend to any friends & family that need a plumber!

  • Laura Owenson rated it 5/5: I reached out to Mr. Rooter when my new dryer was not able to be installed. They came out the same day. Rich found the gas shutoff valve behind the wall and he was able to install the dryer. Just when all hope was lost…. The soccer uniforms will be clean for the weekend tournament. I really appreciate the care Rich took to be careful when making a hole in the wall, but the valve was found!! Thank you for great service!

Taylor Braxton rated it 1/5: **Here I am updating my review because it seems to be the only thing that gets this company’s attention. The lack of communication by this company is absolutely mind blowing horrible is an understatement. My A/C that is supposed to be brand new has broken now three time two years in a row. The tech that came to my home over a month ago claimed that it was our fault because the filter was dirty even though we had just changed the filter. But I went with it paid my hard earned money to get it fixed and also signed up for the premium service. Not even a week later the A/C broke again. They sent a new tech out who said that it was not our fault and that the previous tech didn’t know what he was doing. Now I am currently waiting weeks to get my a/c fixed. Called so many times without even the courtesy of a call back for me to call back and then tell me that they can’t find the part. Oh and to top it off tell me that they don’t know when I can speak to a customer service manager Alex because he’s in training even though I’ve called multiple times just ridiculous DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! ***This company is absolutely horrible if I could give zero stars I would. First they never answer the phone or call back. I paid thousands of dollars to get the inside and outside units replaced and every summer since it has not worked. I have currently been on hold for two hours because my ac is not working yet again for a second year in a row. Don’t waste your money with this business they will disappoint!!! Will be contacting Better Business Bureau on this company!

  • Kevin Reilly rated it 5/5: Very pleased with service call and follow-up. Sean diagnosed the problem and ordered parts. Part came within 24 hours and Supreme scheduled a 2nd visit the next day. Sean was dispatched again and was running late, but Supreme let us know. He didn't bail-out. Came to our home at around 7:30 P.M. He was pleasant as before and didn't rush to get it repaired. Supreme did the original install of the entire system about 3 years ago and their service support was as good as their initial work.. Definitely recommend.
  • Yasin Family rated it 5/5: Repaired a previously installed water based backup sump pump. Plumber Justin was awesome. Justin was very nice, calm, thorough, organized, and seemed very knowledgeable. Highly recommend him for plumbing projects. Deborah followed up after the service to make sure I was satisfied. She was very awesome as well.
  • Sumal rated it 5/5: Working with Supreme Service Today has been a positive experience. From the initial consultation for the estimate to the end of installation, everyone that I interacted with behaved as true professionals of their trade. Sean did a great job of answering my many questions, exploring options for service, planning for the future and was a great communicator prior to the start of the job. Saber and Santos were both excellent in the installation process. They answered my many questions as I observed the whole process of the two of them removing my old units and installing brand new heating/cooling units and relocating my thermostat. I couldn't be more pleased. Suffice it to say, I have peace of mind in the excellent work Saber and Santos provided and am pleased with the overall experience with this company.
  • Wes Flanagan rated it 5/5: Our experience with Supreme has been great. We had a drain clog and our technician, Brett, was on time, friendly, and very helpful. He came in on the weekend and was happy to help troubleshoot with us in order to fix our urgent problem. We would recommend Supreme and Brett highly!

Kelly Miskin rated it 5/5: We just moved to the area & a week into living in our house we discovered water in our basement. We could not detect where the water was coming from until we pulled the trigger on a leak detection company who told us it was our sewer line. I wasted no time and googled an emergency plumber in the area and Warrior was the first to pop up. I called and was not only given sympathy (first time since dealing with this issue) but I was immediately taken care of. They had me send photos and the owner reached out to me soon after. Brent was so understandable and told me to call the town to see if the problem could be handled on their end before we dropped money on a fix. His guys came out that afternoon & were so professional, so polite and educated me on other things I should be aware of. They left our house clean after fixing the issue & it was honestly the best customer service I have received in a very long time. I am so happy I found them. I won't be using any other plumping company. I cant thank them enough! Incredible!

  • Steven Beaudry rated it 5/5: Absolute professionals! I can't say enough about this company for the incredible job they did with my basement bathroom ejector pump installation. Our basement bathroom pump has failed several times over the past 6 years, generating huge costs for pump replacements, cleanups, etc. We went through several companies who only offered to keep replacing the pump, costing us over $500/year in wasted repairs. We had Warrior evaluate our entire basement plumbing situation to find a definitive, permanent solution. They ended up installing a high quality pump and re-routing the ejector pump line into the proper sewer outflow pipe. We now have a reliably functioning pump for our finished basement bathroom!

It is incredibly hard to find a reputable company to do major repairs on your home, someone you can trust to do the job properly. These guys are it. They were prompt in their communication, showed up on time, and had all proper equipment and ready to work. We looked at the basement together and discussed the options in great length…they answered all of my questions and heard all of my concerns. We then came up with a plan together that we all agreed on, and they returned to do the job exactly when they said. They kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned everything up when finished. Can't ask for much more than that! Don't waste your time, money, and sanity hiring anyone else if you want your plumbing fixed properly, quickly, and for a great price. 5 stars.

  • Douglas Dodrill rated it 5/5: I would definitely recommend Warrior Plumbing for your next project or repair. They’re so easy to deal with and their prices are reasonable. The guys who came out for my project were really nice. They were very neat and cleaned up everything. I would actually give them more than 5 stars if I could.
  • Steve Lannon rated it 5/5: The first time using Warrior did not disappoint. I contracted with them to fix a leaking cast iron pipe at my sister's condo. These guys are the best. They had great communication, were professional, and had reasonable prices. The service was prompt and the contracting and invoicing were electronic and easy to navigate. It's quite rare to give an A+, but in this case, it's completely warranted. Nicely done, Warrior team.
  • Tom Hale rated it 5/5: Every time I call Warrior Plumbing they deliver high quality, professional service!! Brent and his crew are thorough and make sure the job gets done right! I would highly recommend this crew.

  • Katie Fuller rated it 5/5: These guys saved us! ❤️ I'm so grateful to Mahon plumbing inc. for coming to our rescue after our main plumbing line blocked thanks to a broken pipe that left us with no water. They were able to come and fix it immediately and this was a HUGE job. Arrived by 8am with a large crew and had the yard dug up and fixed within hours. Not only do they do a great job but also very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this company with all your plumbing needs.
  • Yvette R rated it 5/5: I'm a tad late writing this, but I wanted to share the very positive experience I had with this company. It was back during the 4th of July weekend and we had visitors staying in our guess space in the basement. Unfortunately, during their visit, the toilet clogged which also back clogged the tub, so they couldn't use the bathroom, and it was at night. We called around for 24/7 service and thankfully found Mahon. They were nice, understanding and I have to say now, worth the price considering everything they had to do and what others wanted to charge. They came out the first night and had to unclog the main pipe and it was working, but by the morning, it was backed up again. We had to call again in the morning, on the actual holiday, I felt so bad, but we had to. But, they made no excuses, and came back out within about an hour from the time I called, even though there really wasn't a warranty. The guy came out with reinforcement and a much larger snake and the rest is history. We have had no issues since the 4th of July. Thumbs up to Mahon Plumbing and Jacob, the plumber who came out. Thank you!!
  • Brian Delphus rated it 5/5: Mahon was extremely responsive when I called about a problem with the pump on my laundry tub. The technician was friendly and very knowledgeable.
  • Andrew Stevenson rated it 5/5: Very professional and knowledgeable. I use Mahon for new construction as well as my personal house. Chris knows the business in and out.
  • Tracy Mcateer rated it 5/5: Even though it was a very cold day with numerous pipe bursts and no one to complete my job, the boss came out and fixed my problem. He was just as competent as the Mahon plumbers that have come out for services in the past. Pretty impressive!

Neil Patel rated it 2/5: They came same day to do an estimate for a bathroom faucet replacement. Would not tell me over the phone to give me an estimate of the cost. They quoted me $750! I found a competitor to do it for $200 who completed the job in 40 minutes and the result was beautiful. I would not recommend Millennium Plumbing due to insane price gouging.

Rob was my servicer. He was very nice and talked me through each step as well as teaching me a thing or two.He got everything done in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you Rob

Arrived on time – professional and personable. The swap was done quickly, clean work area, no leaks. Made it look easy. Even complimented my Harry Homeowner tools. Very happy with the service.

  • Chuck Scudder rated it 1/5: Had a plugged kitchen sink over Labor Day weekend. Coudn't clearm it myself. I thought I found them on a site with higher ratings than I see here. They did show up on time. He had to see the basement and pipes first. Strange… He proceeded to snake it, and said he just moved the clog further down the pipe. He kept warning me that this could mean replacing pipes. Didn't like when I questioned this. 'We see these problems all the time' was his favorite line. He finally took me back to basement and showed me how he would reroute a pipe – 2 feet worth. It was $325 for the snaking. I didn't have a real problem with that on holiday weekend. But he wanted another $450 for the pipe work. I asked why, after snaking, he didn't try plunging it. He said they don't plunge. If I wanted to try that DIY stuff I should feel free. I said no thanks to the pipe work, and when he left I plunged it – it broke free immediately, and no problems since. I wish I had found these reviews before calling them. My experience
