Update. So, customer service contacted me a couple days ago and today someone from Corporate called to explain that their prices are a set nationally. She told me the rate to clear a simple kitchen sink drain starts at $625 and can run up to $900!! Ridiculous! I asked why they don’t tell the caller that at outset-her reply is they quote when the tech comes out-depending on need, then one can reject the service while the tech is there. If she could tell me that in our conversation, they could tell a potential customer that when they 1st call to inquire about service. The upside is they come at no charge. Had I known at 1st call the range of prices, instead of waiting them to come, I would have been calling someone else So, beware-if you call them, have a backup plan with someone else just in case.

We agreed to have him replace it the next day. He did a great job installing a new sump pump, back up with battery and the ejector pump the next day.

David was professional, punctual, courteous and efficient.

Very kind and engaging technicians that explain my issue to me and what needs fixing. The ONLY grip I have is they are so darn expensive even for small jobs. If you use them expect to pay $$$. Due to this, I sometimes call other companies that take a bit longer to resolve and respond but at least I keep some change in my pocket. If not for their pricey fees Roto Rooter would receive 5 stars from me.

He charged me $625 for a simple kitchen sink drain clog removal. After I brought up whether there were coupons available, he reduced the price to $525. I had removed all of the under sink articles and p-trap from the garbage disposal before he arrived. All he had to do was bring in his machine and run the cable down the drain for about 15 minutes and reattach the p-trap. The rest of the time was spent explaining contract terms and running my credit card. I have no problem with the service or the results, just the price. I would think somewhere between $300 and $400 would be more in line with the work done.

Rogan Grant rated it 1/5: Oh boy…where to even begin? My roommate/tenant clogged the kitchen sink while I was away at conference without phone access. In the mean time they robbed us blind. The clog was a straightforward food clog. On day 1, a technician came in and destroyed my pipes. Horrendous leaking, completely beyond repair. Cost for this disaster: $500. My tenant then called again to have the damage repaired, at which point I joined by video call. The new technician explained that the last service had indeed been faulty, and that he had to replace all of the pipes: "you can probably get your money back." I have never had issues with these pipes, which were just two years old. He did this without first asking permission, and replaced an excellent set of steel pipes with the cheapest PVC job I have ever seen (see photo). Cost for cleaning up their own mess: another $500. No refund as of yet. I will be filing a complaint with the city and disputing any charges moving forward. Avoid these swindlers at absolutely any cost.

I had a burst pipe from the cold temperatures so I called Rescue Plumbing.They were able to schedule me for an appointment the same day. Javier was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done and how the job would be carried out. I very much appreciated that he answered all of my questions—which were many! When the issue was identified he made sure I understood the issue by explaining the situation and making sure I could see it. He also explained the cause of the issue and how to prevent future bursts.
The pricing is very transparent so there were no surprises when it was time to pay the invoice. Javier explained the pricing beforehand as well as again, before payment. Javier documented everything both with photos and a written explanation which made it easier to submit a comprehensive invoice to my insurance adjuster. I would definitely recommend Rescue Plumbing! Hopefully, I don't have another plumbing issue any time soon, but if I do, I would use Rescue Plumbing and request Javier!

What you should expect from Baethke is quality service, at a fair price. I live on the 4th story, above many neighbors I care much about and messing with plumbing is a great way to make a small problem a very very big one. We had to change out an old water heater. I contacted Baethke, and Ron (master plumber) was able to perform the installation and ensure the job was done right. This was a challenging job that required follow-up and John Baethke personally reached out to me to explain in detail the situation and his team's plan to address it.

Having this experience I realize how important doing the job right really is and how little confidence I would have in the job if I had bought a tank "on-sale" at Home Depot. That follow up could have been a whole mix of people with the potential for damage.

I now sleep with confidence knowing that the team at Baethke has an intimate understanding of the plumbing in my building should any issue arise. They have my back. Thank you Ron, John, and the whole team for a job well done. You have a very satisfied customer.

Most recently we had Mark Smith install our new kitchen faucet. Took the time after to show the functionality, as well as how to do simple repairs should it need it. Profession and timely, Mark did a great job to get the job done fast, but also thorough. Would Highly recommend for work you may need.

Our fridge water supply line sprung a leak, and after an appliance repair company declined to do the work, we called Vanguard. This was the second time we had engaged Vanguard, and the two-man crew was every bit as courteous, competent and professional this time as it was last time. They were punctual, wore shoe covers inside (and otherwise respected our property), worked diligently to replace the plastic supply line with a copper one, cleaned up after themselves, and performed the work in less time than estimated, saving us money. Plumbers even diagnosed and quickly fixed a small leak in our kitchen sink faucet, which was beyond the scope of the quoted work, and asked, “Anything else?” before leaving. I would not hesitate to use Vanguard again, or to recommend them. Highly professional!!

They completed the job in a day and a half and the price came in higher than the estimate but about what I expected given the additional work. The basement floor was restored with a layer of concrete around the new drain cover.

They are very responsive (another company I called didn’t answer and never responded to my voicemail). Dex was the main plumber and he is extremely knowledgeable. Dex has a lot of experience and both explained and showed what he was doing. The prices are reflective of emergency plumbing but worth it if you need something fixed quickly and done well.

I scheduled a service visit last night and they arrived first thing in the morning to handle our obnoxious washing machine drain problem that’s been a thorn in our sides since we purchased our unit years ago. Not only were they kind and professional, but Pete walked me through all my possible options for repair. We live in a “quirky” old building that has a slew of plumbing issues, not including those within our unit. They gave me information about our drain configuration that other companies had not mentioned and knew exactly how to tackle the problem and give us an estimate. We had them rod our drain while we mull over the estimate and plan of action, and they went above and beyond. After discovering my supply hoses were on their last legs, they set us up with an extra durable set so they will ideally last for years. They bill by the job (which I appreciate given our building is old and repairs are sometimes more time-consuming) and took their time making sure their work was sturdy. Pete taught me about things as he went and alerted me to a valve issue (and other issues) that we’ll need to tackle down the road.
I was just remarking to my husband several days ago that there’s no integrity left in business, but Pete and Omar certainly reversed that opinion. This means a lot, especially being a female client who is used to being talked down to or brushed aside. Thanks, guys!

We were initially told someone would be out same day between 10-1 and then they had to reschedule because they would need a dolley to move said washer/dryer. We called back to confirm only to find they completely cancelled our request. After making a new one we were told someone would be coming out between 4-6. No one came during that time. They eventually game around 8pm.. with no dolley!! They told us it would cost $800 alone to move the W/D without doing any work. Needless to say we went with another company. Do not recommend.

However, Prime Plumbing Service personnel were courteous, reasonable and punctual. The work was done professionally and clean. I was very pleased with the entire experience. My water heater went out on Sunday and when I called on Monday morning, the plumber was at my house by 2 pm. After he assessed the work and we discussed the price, the work was completed the next morning.

He walked us through everything that he did which was extremely beneficial as a first time homeowner. He was very tidy and left the bathroom spotless. Bob brought his team, performed Jetter (high-powered sewer rodding/cleanout) & also unclogged kitchen sink pipe (he fully understood the sinks initial/unique setup). They work as a team, are quick, pleasantly confident that they resolved your problem and all shake your hand afterwards. Furthermore, Bob tells you how to ensure only a regular sewer clean out is needed in the future, how to avoid sink clogs and gives a warranty for their work. Given my financial restraint, every now and then you run into top notch contractors at a fair price and the All Pro Plumbing team is one of them.

The owner Rob calmly talked me through how to turn the main water off and promptly assigned his repair team to my home the next day. Fabian & Michael were the plumbers assigned to repair my pipes and they were absolutely excellent, knowledgeable and took extreme care with repair of my pipes. I have to say, I was so happy to see them! Thank you all for a job well done!
