Marcos showed up within the appointment window and got right to work. I appreciated that Marcos explained what he was doing and what he was finding during each step of the process. In the end, Marcos summarized his findings, our options, pricing, etc. Though minor leaks were found, none substantiated the water meter readings we were getting from the Water Department. Marcos suggested we reach out to the water company…and here comes the best part, he provided us with his written report, photos and VIDEOS of his findings which included the water meter at a standstill (which appears to contradict a huge leak)! I am hopeful that Marcos' inspection and videos will go a long way in helping us resolve our water bill expenses with the water company. I highly recommend Magic Plumbing for their quick response, thorough inspection and supporting photos and videos.

Erick Simms rated it 5/5: I called Cabrillo Plumbing Heating and Air for a backed-up sewage pipe and they were OUTSTANDING!!! They set up my appointment promptly and were on time. About 30 minutes before arrival I received a text from Cabrillo telling me David, the plumber was en route. The text included a picture, physical description, years of experience, hobbies, and so on. Once David got to our house he introduced himself and was very professional. He checked the area where the clogged pipe was and got a general layout of our plumbing. He set up his work area and got down to business all the while explaining what he was doing, how the plumbing system worked, and what the overall goal was. After David verified the clog was clear and flowing he installed our toilet with the ease of a seasoned artist. Their quality of service and professionalism impressed me and I will call them in the future for plumbing or heating needs.

Robert was on time and very professional. Unfortunately my very old heating unit was irreparable, but Robert was able to quickly order a new unit and returned within a few days to install it. He and his partner came right on time and worked quickly and efficiently to install a new unit, which is working great. Would highly recommend their services.

The physical therapist suggested having a bidet installed for her return home. The least stressful part of this whole scenario was calling Cabrillo and having Rob come out and install it all in a few hours. I have always trusted Cabrillo and that trust continues to grow. From the first phone call with Gessa I had options for what model to choose, suggestions, and prices all within a day. I asked for the work to be done by my favorite plumber Rob and got what i wanted. Everything went smoothly and my mother is so happy not to have to struggle now that she is home. I was able to book an appointment for two days after my call. The plumber (Cesar Perry) showed up promptly at the scheduled time. He pointed out some of the equipment we were removing was higher quality than what Lowe’s sent, so we kept it. He completed the whole job in an hour, cleaned up all the debris, and was polite and friendly the whole time. I can’t praise Heise’s and Mr. Perry enough! Excellent work!

Two plumbers arrived in a short span of time after I called about a gas leak in the gas valve behind my stove the day before Thanksgiving. They figured out the issue with the gas line, replaced the valve, and pushed the stove and exhaust vent back into place. I am grateful for such great service. We were afraid it might be a holiday disaster. Everything turned out perfect.

Chase Lily rated it 5/5: Ceasar from Heise's Plumbing texted when he was en route and even arrived a few minutes early. I had put off calling a plumber for a long time due to bad experiences. Because of this, I had a small list of things that needed I needed help with.
There was an old instant hot water faucet gizmo that was rusty, corroded and had never worked in the 25 years. That got removed. My garbage disposal also had never worked, but Cesar did some tweaks and got it working. My faucet had been dripping for a long time and the drains in both the kitchen and bathroom sink was plugged and draining very slowly. . Cesar was able to snake both sinks and resolve the clogs.

I had a new faucet from Home Depot which he installed for me, no more dripping!!! The new faucet is much nicer. Besides doing the mechanical work, Cesar was very helpful and giving me advice about various plumbing related things.

I wrote down the advice and taped it on the inside of my cabinet along with the information about Heise's plumbing, and Cesar for the next time I have a plumbing problem.

I highly recommend the Heise’s Plumbing and Cesar! 5 Stars ⭐️

I could not find a plumber to come over the house to replace the pipe nipples (Saturday Afternoon). I call Ace Plumbing and the person who answer the phone was helpful and immediately dispatched a plumber. Jordan Barrett, Plumber arrived to the house in less than 45 minutes. Jordan was courtesy and honest in explaining the job repair. The job was completed in less than 45 minutes. The responsive time is exceptional and the workmanship is outstanding. Russ on the other hand, from experience, guessed the brand then researched the specs that evening and let me know exactly how to go about securing replacement parts, which would have been the cheapest option for me. Technician Mike D came and did not do a single diagnose or a fix but rudely opened the front wrapper and said the hot water heater is old and it must leak water somewhere else. He simply wanted to replace the hot water heater and water valve for over $3100 and asked me if I would like to proceed. Of course not. He charged $85 dispatch fee and left. I felt it was a total waste time in such an emergency situation. I found another technician who replaced the TMP valve in a few minutes. Hot water heater works as expected!

Chris and Jerwin both worked on both toilets and they changed out both in an hour and a half! Couldn't be more happier for having new flushing toilets! They explained everything thoroughly and even were able to negotiate on costs. I highly recommend these guys!

And to make it worse damaged the gas pipe so that the whole community almost exploded making LA fire department and Haz Mat arrive on the scene! Efrain was such a delight to have in our home to fix a bad plumbing job!

Efrain's transparency and kindness are what bring me here to write this review. He walked us through what went wrong with the previous plumber (we found out that the previous guy used junkyard appliances) and showed us the brand new appliances he used to fix it. This was certainly a quality job and Efrain insisted that if we have any issues in the future, just give him a call!

Don't be a fool and book with Discount Plumbing!!!

Lesson learned, use a professional company like Discount Plumbing and Rooter who will do the job right and guarantee their work. Brian G was great through out the process and worked with me to make my remote payment as seamless as possible. Appreciate it guys, will be a returning customer.

Repairman arrived, said he could fix one, but the kitchen would have to be replaced (mind you, this is a $1300 faucet). The quote given was $775 to fix one, and replace the other (I supply the new faucet). That seemed pretty high especially since I thought all they needed were new rubber gaskets…which of course I was correct. Two gaskets for each faucet.

Also: each repair took less than 30 minutes to perform.

The tools needed were an adjustable wrench $20, a hex key set $16, and four gaskets @ 0.80 each $3.20

Savings $2,000

I'll let you be the judge. But I think you have all the proof that you need that they actively rip off, and take advantage of their customers.
Clara Mortensen rated it 1/5: Discount Plumbing Rooter Terrible! Not only they didn’t fix the plumbing issue but damaged it more. And to make it worse damaged the gas pipe so that the whole community almost exploded making LA fire department and Haz Mat arrive on the scene! Absolutely unprofessional, uneducated and incompetent workers. If you want to stay alive, don’t ever use their services.

All along the way they checked in if they thought i needed to know or understand something. They also fixed another problem they did not come for but saw it as pertinent to the whole picture.these guys are the first time i have not felt ripped off or like I had to do a crash YouTube course in my plumbing problem. I was also able to ask whatever questions I had. I will be using them for all my plumbing need. How refreshing is honesty and availability at the same time.

After turning on the water back on I discovered that the hot water to all the faucets did not work. I goggles the situation a d tried several option to no avail. I placed the call for the plumber. I was amazed that they took the time to troubleshoot the problem. Amazingly the issue was a bad valve to the water heater. I was able to replace it myself. I will always call R & L plumbing service for future service. Very honest. Do not hesitate to call them. Thank you guys very much.

Polite, quick, and came within an hour of when I called. And I love it, that the owner of the business answers the phone —-it’s a lost art.

I like a “hands on” business owner, even when the company has grown to 50 employees. It’s an efficient operation. He had Sabrina call me back and schedule a plumber who was able to be at the building within two hours. Ismael was professional and quick. We rely on R & L.
Bichara “B” Endrawos rated it 5/5: The two service techs Gustavo and Evelio were true professionals. They honed in on the issue of our water pressure and trouble shot it immediately. Cleaned out the pipes and perfectly installed our new faucet. We had hot water with great pressure in no time. The time before this, Gustavo came out with Mike and he was also great. Knowledgeable and super friendly. My 2 yr old son loved him. All of the guys were respectful and clearly knew what they were doing. Great plumbers that get the customer service aspect.

He fixed my kitchen sink leak in less than an hour and has stayed dry since yesterday and have no doubt into the next 10 years. The principals of CHOSEN are just as great. I detected the leak on Saturday following the Thanksgiving holidays. Placed a call to my home insurance and send an email directly to CHOSEN on Sunday. Amazingly, the principal responded and I was scheduled with an appointment the very next day after a 4 day holiday weekend. Now, where can you find this type of efficiency? Thank you so much Sarah and Daniel.

It was already late afternoon and worried I'd have to wait a day or so to get professional help unclogging. Chosen Rooter was able to dispatch someone to my home within 20 minutes of my calling them. Chris the technician was great! Was able to unclog without having to remove the whole bowl. He was very thorough, tested flushing multiple times, once again before he left to make sure it was really cleared. Great service experience all around. I strongly recommend Chosen Rooter.

They scheduled the appointment quickly and showed up on time. I like their time window of 2 hours rather than 4 hours which some other pluming company had offered last time . . Mario who had come for the appointment was great and very knowledgeable. He could identify the problem and fixed it nicely . I would highly recommend them for any plumbing work.
Jonathan Sofer rated it 2/5: My initial experience when I called was great because they were able to get out within a few hours on a Sunday to my tenants apartment in SF to take a look at a leak under the kitchen sink. They said they would charge $85 for an assessment and then give me an estimate for the repair and will apply the $85 towards the repair if I went with them. That sounded reasonable pricing wise. They discovered that the p-trap and the straight pipe going into the wall under the sink were corroded and needed to be replaced. They had the parts which were easily accessible from any hardware store and told me it would take less than 30 minutes to repair but they said it would cost $400. I was shocked at the price and when I told them that was very expensive they said it was because it was a Sunday. Who knows what it would have cost on a regular week day, I doubt it would have been much less. I feel like they took advantage of me knowing that I was an out of town landlord and that I couldn't leave my tenant with a leaking sink any longer and that I really had no other options and therefore price gouged me. I discussed this with them a few times but they wouldn't budge on the price. They had overall great reviews which is why I called them in the first place but I guess I didn't ready enough of the bad reviews to see that this is not an uncommon occurrence with them. I will likely not use them ever again. I have not heard anything from my tenant since then so I assume they successfully repaired the pipes under the sink and the leak so I will give them 2 starts. It was an easy job, however, and if I was in town I would have been able to do it myself.
