John came out gave me a good price and said they could install it the next day!! Amazing service from dealing with John to the two gentleman who installed our AC. Because of the great advertising done be Cummings and as a elderly person I felt that I would get a fair honest deal and prompt service. I felt the estimate was high, but I received a 5% discount due to being elderly. The bill remained over a Thousand Dollars. I felt I had no choice and signed everything before the work started. My mistake. I will never use or recommend Cummings Plumbing to anyone. What I thought would be a fair honest deal turned out to be just the opposite. Everyone that I have mentioned this to said I was way overcharged.

From our first phone call for help we’ve been very impressed with the professionalism of every person we’ve had contact with. The receptionist is very friendly and understanding, doing everything she can to help get a plumber out within an hour or two!
Jiovanni Ortiz arrived within 90 minutes! He immediately assessed the situation and began working. He is very knowledgeable, explaining what he’s doing while solving the plumbing issue and how it might be avoided in the future. He also explained other service solutions to consider if the problem persists.
He is soft spoken, personable and professional!
He solved our problem, cleaned up the mess and even helped put the cabinet back in place. We highly recommend Al Coronado Plumbing!

Jasper, our initial contact person, gave us a written estimate prior to the job, assured us of the quality of workmanship we would receive, and returned once the job was completed answer any questions we might have. Our level of satisfaction was important to him. Most impressive! We will use them again.

Plumbers Paul, George and Xavier were thorough and knowledgeable about the old plumbing in my house. The cost was high, but they did a good amount of skillful work, correcting old issues that needed attention.
mike d rated it 4/5: I was referred by some friends and was pleased when the tech came and replaced our toilet. We then needed to have a gas meter moved to a different location. This required up to code pipe and fittings and an inspection by the city, before Southwest gas would come and relocate the meter. The work was done and the tech installed all new pipes to the point where SW gas would tie in. After this work, I was told by the Al Coronado tech that I could then call SW gas so they could do their work. So I called SW gas and a relocation tech came out and I signed a contract and paid a fee for relocating the main gas pipe and moving the meter. So a few weeks later SW gas called and said they would be out to do the work. SW showed up and did the work, but when it came time for their plumber to connect to the house line they needed to see the inspection that all was up to code. It was then up to me to call AC and obtain a copy of a successful inspection and then the SW plumber could hook us up. After several calls between AC and SW, it turned out that Al Coronado never followed up with the inspection. So, SW gas could not restore gas service without a valid inspection. To say we were upset at this disconnect between SW gas and AC is an understatement. As I was told by AC that once the house line was in place, all I had to do was call SW gas and have them come out and then give AC a call when this was being done and I did on the day that SW gas did the work. Now all this grieve and the headache of having to be told by SW gas it was AC fault and then AC telling me that SW should not have started the work without the inspection in place….did eventually have a good outcome. It should be noted that all this happened on a Thursday and we thought there was no way to get the city, SW gas and AC to do the last minute inspection and we would be without gas for one of the coldest weekends in Tucson. Well we didn’t count on Andrew….who keep in constant contact and assured us he would get us gas the next day. Andrew was very professional, competent and made sure we knew he would get things fixed…..and he did. So, will I use Al Coronado again….a definitive YES, as ‘things happen’ and the way Andrew made sure we were made whole means more than one oversight. The mistake was fixed immediately and with a lot of apologies. So…the fours stars is only for this episode and not indicative of the previous service we had.

Additionally, he was able to flush our water heater when the first company said the water heater couldn't be flushed due to too much sediment. He provided several itemized estimates for us to review so that we could make the best choice. He didn't try to oversell anything…just provided straightforward and honest information. Customer service called within a few hours to make sure I didn't have any questions and to make sure everything went okay with the service call. Very rare to find this in a company these days. Gave Silverado a call on a Saturday am, and they were able to send someone over before noon. Manny was great – he was able to rule out any leaks between the street and the house, and while there was an issue with the shut-off valve on the house, once everything was shut off and turned back on, we were able to see that all was working as expected. He said because there was no "work" done, there was no charge for the visit. The peace of mind he was able to give us was invaluable. Great service and explanation of process. Would 100% give them a call for work in the future!

He also went the extra mile and offered and fixed a back-up in the tub caused from the original back-up that I seriously doubt any other plumber would have done or thought to look at! This guy is OUTSTANDING! Silverado would never need to advertise if he goes on all the jobs because he is "a word of mouth" via references walking advertisement that stands above and beyond any advertisement for a company I have ever seen! I hope they recognize they have a rare diamond who works for them and compensates him accordingly!

Anyone can do a plumbing job, including myself, but it really takes professionals to diagnose issues, propose a workable solutions and also provide them. Lastly, I've worked with Tom on fixing one of my sewer lines and he intuitively found an issue with how the pipes were connected. An amateur would have never spotted that. At the same time, they didn't sell me on an unnecessary solution that would have cost me thousands.

He was also very professional and made sure I understood what was wrong and what he did to resolve the issue. He was great and I am going to call him first for any future issue.

We had a severe drainage issue and when the clog was discovered by RR in the alleyway more than 140 feet from our historic property, RR gave a bid for over $13000 to fix what was expected to be a collapsed drainage pipe.
Upon further investigation on my end, I learned that Pima County in most cases covers work even on private drainage pipes of it is located in an easement. It took only 24 hours for Pima County to determine our job fell under this program and to bring a crew out to fix it for us. Thank you Pima County!!

Roto told us they would bring the County out only after they dug the 7' deep x 6×6 foot hole to see what was happening. They never mentioned or suggested that what have the County take a look first. The other frustration was when they came to clear our clog they quoted me $280 for 100 feet. $3.50 for every foot beyond 100 feet and never mentioned a charge for camera analysis and location of the clog. So in the end we had to pay almost $700 for their service, received a bid for 13K and was never informed that with their initial discovery we should have involved the County.

We were seriously stressed over the possibility of such an expense at this time, facing hospital bills from a recent severe health issue. THIS was highly unprofessional and unethical. If RR doesn't know the policies of their own county to help out their customers, then they don't deserve to be licensed plumbers.
Tom Horvath rated it 1/5: Gave me false information about what needed to be done to flush my toilet and clean the drain. Charged me $1071 to supposedly flush my drain. Then they said I needed a $4000 digging job to clean the drain. I then called another plumber and he said all I needed was a new toilet. I'm in the process of taking legal action to get my $1071 back. Going to call Better Business Bureau.

They scheduled the installation quickly with not even a deposit required. Dillon and Steven arrived on time and did an excellent job getting the entire system installed and tested. They showed me how everything worked and cleaned everything up before they left. I would highly recommend Plumber of Tucson for any plumbing needs, and will be using them again for my next projects!!

I reached out to Plumber of Tucson for an estimate based on things I'd read about them. I was quite surprised when Josh came to the site, provided a quick estimate, which I felt was reasonable, and said he could make the connection right away. 3 hours later, just as Josh had said, we had running water to the site.
In my opinion, Plumber of Tucson and Josh went the extra mile to ensure my water line was leak-free and had the proper pressure at the end of the line. Everyone I dealt with was professional, timely, did exactly as they stated they would do and did it for a fair price. Josh was very courteous and provided A+ service/workmanship. I would, without hesitation, recommend Plumber of Tucson. If I need plumbing services again, these folks are on the top of my list. Great job!
Lindsey rated it 5/5: Second time I have called them due to a plumbing issue. First time several years ago they installed a new hot water heater and all new pipes and did a fabulous job. No problems since. Very competent, kind, friendly, and reassuring regarding their work. This time I had a clog in my shower head system and once again the plumber was friendly, very reasonably priced, reassuring, and had quality communication. As a nurse and someone who is concerned about the details and integrity of the work done, I am once again relieved by my experience today. I very highly recommend this company and I have exacting standards so do not give such recommendations often. Thank you

Joe, Steve, Dillon and Chris are really good guys who go out of their way to explain things and answers questions. The are so genuine in their desire to provide the highest quality of work. We live in a unique and somewhat historical southern Arizona territorial adobe block home. We have 10 inch solid block walks, 20 foot post/beam ceilings and brick floors throughout the house. No crawl spaces, no attic space and 50 plus year old cast iron pipes buried 4-5 feet below the concrete and brick floors.
We spent a year renovating the house and are now facing a choice of destroying the house to retrench the pipes or using the pipe bursting method to replace the pipes. We are just done with all the preparations prior to pipe bursting. Steve and Dillon have take extreme care not to damage a newly renovated Casita. They place cardboard on all of the floors/walls/vanities around the project. Everything is draped in thick plastic to keep the dust down to a minimum. They clean up the work site every day.

I will update this post when the project is complete. I have worked in facilities construction and renovation for over 10 years in the medical clinic and hospital environment. Plumber of Tucson is by far the best plumbing contractor I have ever experienced.

When I told them I had a clogged drain, they said it would be $69, and the plumber (singular) could come in the afternoon. $69 seemed reasonable, since I saw an ad when I was looking up plumbers that said they could clear a drain for $47, and there was a similar ad in the paper advertising a $92 fee. What I found out, after the plumbers arrived is that $69 covers parking the truck in the driveway. It wasn’t until they looked at the job that they told me the minimum charge would be $289; a minimum charge of 1 hour at $110 per person for two people plus the driveway charge. I wanted the drain clear (it was Friday afternoon) so I said go ahead. Fifteen minutes later the drain was clear. Including the time to look at the job, clear the drain, pack up and do the paperwork, they were parked in my driveway less than ½ hour.

They came within 2 hours and quickly repaired the leak (some rubber washers had deteriorated after 8 years). They were very professional. The after hours fee was reasonable.

Tim did a great job diagnosing the problem and getting all the necessary information to the warranty company. They kept us informed during the waiting process and made sure we got the right parts. Tim came out and finished the whole exchange in an afternoon and was very patient with my questions, he even went the extra mile to help us get our outside unit cleaned up and prepared for the summer. I will definitely use them again if the situation arises.

The quotes were comparable but I chose Arico because the gentleman providing us our quote gave us a great explanation of the services we were looking for.. The Arico Technician, Angel, arrived promptly and advised the steps he was taking to remove our 12 year old water heater and install our new one. Then he provided a detail info on the water heater itself. Everyone was very professional from the time I first called through the installation.

However, now with an emergency main water line leak, they tried to rip me off with a $10,000 repair estimate for what other plumbers charged $3500. In addition, their bid was just a number, no details, no warranty, and no explanations,. Disreputable to an old customer.
Stephen Warner rated it 1/5: Absolutely the most ridiculous experience I have had with a contractor. They installed an under sink water at my business about 1 year ago. It failed, so we called them out to fix it again, close to warranty timeout but that wasn't the issue. The tech checked the unit and told us that it was wired incorrectly, supplying 220V to a 120V. I explained that they installed the unit last year and how could this be? His reply "I don't know what to tell you". I called the company and asked for a manager to call me back; they didn't and I ended up calling them again. I was connected to "Pete" who gave me a CYA answer about voltage and then "they installed a direct replacement, so you need an electrician". I explained, again, that they installed the unit a year ago and asked why wasn't the voltage problem found at that time? And how could a 120V unit last a year hooked up to a 220V. He said that they simply hooked up a direct replacement and don't check that during the install. WHAT? Your company installs electric water heaters and doesn't bother to check voltage? Totally ridiculous response to my valid questions. I wonder how many older retired folks that really don't know anything about electrical issues get burned by this company every year with this kind of BS? I would give them a 0 Stars rating but you can't do that.
