Gregory Keefer rated it 1/5: AC/Heat Pump Installation on September 15th. Came home to half the vents not blowing and attic stairs not reinstalled correctly. Duct was reinstalled with damper control inside. Carpet on stairs was dirty from their shoes. Called immediately and guy came out on Friday 17th. Tech came to look at stair damage, fix damper and oh yeah, bolt down outside unit because the first guy failed to do it. Tech said yeah they’ll need to redo your stairs. 24 September called customer service, because my original salesman wasn’t returning my messages or calls, and was told they would have a dispatcher call me. 28 September talked to Jamal in customer service, I think, regarding stairs still not replaced. 3 October still no action so I messaged American Mechanical via their website. 4 October received message from American mechanical and sent text back, as requested to say Thursday was best day to have repaired. Fixed on the 7th. Fast forward to January, heat is working but unbalanced: hot upstairs freezing downstairs. Went in attic and found several feet of duct work left behind. Techs came out to inspect airflow and said all duct work (that came with house) had to be redone and turned my case over to sales. Within 30 minutes salesman was calling me I assume to give a sales pitch because I guess when you are replacing an entire unit they don’t inspect how the duct work flows. This is the absolute worst experience I’ve had for the amount of money I’ve spent. Highly recommend researching one of their competitors. Pictures show the gap they left in reinstalling stairs and the damage the stairs caused to a bedroom door trim when they dropped the stairs.

Andy thoroughly explained how the job would be handled and what to expect should things be worse than a single pipe failure. As this is something I've never dealt with before, I had a million questions and Andy had no qualms answering each one. Within an hour, he emailed two quotes – a "best case" and "worst case" with a full breakdown of what each entailed. Thanks to Andy, I felt reassured and comfortable with the project and estimated timeline for repair.
As for the work, Arty and his team member were absolutely incredible. Efficient, professional, and personable. Despite no plumbing schematics being available, Arty was able to quickly find a starting point that didn't involve unnecessary concrete removal. Throughout the process, they kept me updated on what they found and what their next steps were. They even gave me a heads up before starting the jackhammer so I could put on hearing protection which was SUPER appreciated. The repair took all of 3 days.

It's one thing to just come in and fix a semi-major plumbing problem. What made A-1 shine bright were the personalities of each individual involved in the planning and follow-through. And for that, I will write paragraphs of praise and recommend them to everyone in need of a repair.

I'm happy with the work done, the professionalism of everyone involved and their willingness to explain every step of the project both before and after they've done it. Payment process was simple enough, and pricing is fair I believe. Customer service was helpful with scheduling. Installers were very good with my dog as well. Would recommend.

Ryan came within a couple of hours, assessed the work, and returned the next morning with Michael. Both got to work immediately, and finished the two issues separately—replacing the outside water main valve and replacing washing machine faucets with an upgraded system. Both gentlemen had good personalities, knew what they were doing, and told me everything they did. Atomic headquarters kept me informed of when they’d arrive and there were no surprises.

I had a sewer clog in the main line going from the house to the street which was backing up the entire system in the house. After several days of trying to unclog the system, I finally decided to call Atomic Plumbing based on a neighbor’s suggestion. I put in a request on their website this past Sunday night and told them that my daughter and her family were visiting later in the week for Xmas and that the existing plumbing problem would not tolerate six people in the house for a few days. I got a message that evening to call the Atomic Plumbing emergency number which I did and talked to Kimberly. She was fantastic and explained to me that they would definitely take care of the problem and would have someone out sometime on Monday. I got a call from Atomic soon after they opened for business on Monday and was told that Randy, their technician, would call me about 15-30 minutes before he arrived and that I would receive an email with his picture and a short bio of Randy at that time. That happened within minutes of the call and I soon received the call from Randy. Randy arrived soon and began to get the information I could give him about the problem and find out where the clean outs were. He was a gentleman, professional, assuring and told me he thought he might know where the problem was. He immediately got to work snaking out the system all the way to the street and assured me that the problem was solved when he finished. He gave me the senior discount and was on his way well before lunch. If you read their website carefully, they did with me exactly what they explain they do as part of their normal business routine. I still have not had any problems and highly recommend their services. In today’s environment, dealing with Atomic was like a breath of fresh air.

Answered my phone call on the first ring and even though he had other jobs that day, he still showed up the same afternoon and finished up in less than 1 hour. Very seldom do you meet a contractor who is punctual, honest, adept and willing to take the time and explain the situation and willing to share their knowledge. The knowledge he offered alone was worth the cost of service, and the price was more than reasonable.
He gave me options to choose from on how to move forward with the repairs and I did not at any point feel like he was forcing any costly or unnecessary solutions.. I called them when they were on vacation and still he took the time to inform me on the possible issues i was having with my ground water pump and water pressure coming from the kitchen sink. He seems to enjoy helping people even at the risk of loosing some business.

After he left my home, I replaced my faucet and everything works perfectly, no leaks and excellent water pressure!.. and the ground water pump is fully functional as well! If you are looking for a master plumber who you can trust, Tony and Son Plumbing is without a doubt the only choice.. Choose anyone else and you would have missed out big time!

He diagnosed the leak within 15 minutes and since it was not a plumbing issue, only charged a nominal fee. (Dishwasher leaking from the motor housing.) I will call him for anything and everything in the future based on his honesty, integrity and timeliness.

We are now more comfortable with the plumbing/water and backflow valve we have all because of the information he gave us in great detail. If you need a backflow inspection (annually by the city) then he is your guy, the price is more than 50% less than what a well-known company here charges for the same service. Jim Bertolino & Son Plumbing and Drain Service will be the first we call from now on and the first company I recommend to family, friends and neighbors. Once he begins the repairs, it is like a tactical strike. He is highly quick and proficient in his repairs without cutting corners. He also takes time to explain what was done and go over repairs and over tips for future things.

His pricing is great for the high quality of service he provides. Big corporates chains will charge you 2-3x as much and deliver half the quality Sean provides. I hired Sean to come fix a clogged toilet for me a few weeks ago and have more recently spoken to him regarding another plumbing issue. When he fixed the toilet, he was very knowledgeable, professional, polite, on time, and honest! When this other issue came up, I immediately thought to contact him again remembering the awesome experience I had prior, grabbed his card, and called. I explained the problem and he was honest that it would be an issue my landlord should cover. We used them previously to have a garbage disposal installed in my hundred year old home that required a new electrical circuit in addition to the plumbing and have been very happy with their work. This time we needed to have the fridge water line figured out (ended up being really simple, but I'm glad I called) and to rework the plumbing on my 1940s cast iron sink to accept a new faucet. I called yesterday afternoon and the guys were here bright and early this morning and got me taken care. Couldn't be happier with the service, quality of work, and level of professionalism.
Finding folks capable of dealing with the kinds of issues you face in an old home has been a huge issue for me and I'm glad we found some.

I described my issues to Mr. Anthony over the phone and he was able to email me a quote and schedule a time for service that same day. When the technicians, Mike and Mario arrived to my home, I explained to them what the issues were. They took no time on getting started and not only did they address what I thought the issues were, but Mike pointed out other minor maintenance issues and explained to me everything that was wrong including showing me the old parts that were worn down. Another person on the team communicated with me via text about a choice in the new parts and gave me price points. The service was so efficient, they were literally in and out in a little over and hour and the cost was reasonable for all the work they did. In total they maintenanced 3 bathrooms with leaking or not efficiently functioning toilets, a shower that barely delivered lukewarm water, leaking tub handles, and low pressure faucets. The next day I noticed once of the sink drains was draining slowly. I called Cecilia's, explained the problem, and was booked for a tech to come out the very next day. Mike and Mario came again addressed the issue and explained what was wrong all in a matter of 10-15 minutes. Mike even demonstrated to me what the problem was and how even I can fix it if I needed to. Overall service was very efficient and professional. I definitely recommend Cecilia's Home Repairs!

He fixed our leak and made a couple faucet adjustments as requested. Job well done while being clean and respectful. Definitely will be referring friends to George's plumbing and will use them exclusively from now on.
Also would like to mention other plumbers who called back acted like our repair was going to be a huge complicated issue. Further proof that George and Anthony know their stuff.

We have 2 babies, and while we could’ve survived a few days without plumbing, it would have made life pretty challenging. After calling numerous “emergency plumbers” and either getting no answer or told they couldn’t make it out for a few days, we finally got in touch with George. He answered his phone immediately and listened to the problem. He let us know he had several calls ahead of us but was working through them as fast as he could, and to expect him late or the next morning. He arrived much sooner than we expected and had the problem repaired and our water back on in a few minutes. We were expecting to pay through the nose on Christmas, but his rate was very reasonable, what you’d expect for a regular call. We could tell he was one of the few folks out there responding on Christmas because even as he worked on our pipes, he got call after call. No question, a top notch experience. We have ourselves our new go-to plumber.
