He also detected a leak in the bathroom drainpipe, assessed the condition of the pipes from kitchen catch basin to septic and estimated the cost of replacing these pipes. Eric and Dan returned on Friday, 9/30/22 to replace said pipes, and they did an outstanding job. Their work ethic was excellent. Gilbert arrived within the 2-hour time frame we were given when we placed the call, and he was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He immediately understood the problem and how to fix it. Prior to starting work, he reviewed the costs of the repair, so we know what we were getting into. The costs were high, but the plugged toilet HAD to be fixed so we went ahead with repairs. Gilbert completed the work, cleaned up the area and we will definitely ask for him again if we need any further plumbing work. Gilbert defiantly gets a 5-star rating!!! The ONLY reason this entire review isn't a 5-star rating is due to the high cost of the repair.

I needed to use them this week at my tenant’s house and they needed to come back more than once. Jeff was the tech who did the work for this difficult job (drum trap) and he stayed with it until the job was done! Cameron and Cory were great too! Customer service and punctuality was great, setting up my appointment was smooth and everyone was polite. Problem is unfortunately they weren’t able to unclog my tub drain and I need a plumber to come out instead (I was told the issue is a drum trap in my plumbing). The tech mentioned the drain cleaning should’ve taken 10 minutes but he was trying for about an hour and a half so I definitely appreciate his effort in trying. I hate to complain that I still had to pay, it just sucks that I ended up paying for nothing.

I can't miss work and wait around all day for a plumber, so my retired neighbor let them in. Then they stood around for half an hour and left without doing a thing! Apparently they needed to speak with me before they could do the job. I'M AT WORK! I CAN'T ANSWER THE PHONE! I TOLD YOU THE PROBLEM, SO PLEASE GO FIX IT! Instead they wasted everyone's time. Then I called Vaughan Plumbing & Heating– also local to Hyde Park– and they gave me an UPFRONT COST! How hard is that, McMahon?! I left a check for them for the amount they quoted me, and the job was done the day after McMahon did absolutely nothing. For plumbing issues, please use VAUGHAN P & H! I have no idea what McMahon expects. I have a job– my life doesn't revolve around you. I guess if you are available to stay home all day, then McMahon might be able to fix your plumbing problem. I'll never know! For the rest of us who live in the real world, McMahon is a total waste of time (at least for plumbing issues).

Overall I'm extremely happy with the project. The installation took place the day after the initial inspection, and the team worked expeditiously and efficiently. They left the place as clean and dry as they found it, and the pricing was better than all of their competitors for the same system. I would recommend McMahon to anyone looking for a hot water heater replacement

By Sunday afternoon, the wonderful folks from McMahon were in our basement, discussing options for replacement that could be done that day or the next. We chose the tankless system and McMahon said we’d have hot water again by 3:30 the next afternoon. And we did! The old broken tank was gone and the hot water was working again at 3pm — a half hour early!
This is a great company. They show up when they say they will, they know their stuff, and they are kind and helpful in stressful situations such as flooded basements. Give them a call when you need a plumber. You’ll be glad you did.

P F rated it 2/5: McMahon provided excellent service. Everyone is professional and polite. They came quickly and did a fine job. BUT … the cost was shocking. They charged me around $900 for something that took less than a bit more than an hour, and required a few common and inexpensive parts. They don't break down how much of the bill is parts and how much is labor so it's difficult to discuss it with them. I do know they have flat fee that they charge per visit (something like $160)… in addition any charges for parts and labor. They came to my house twice because they lacked a part on the first visit and charged me this fee twice. So that's $300 before they even start charging for labor or parts. Even at $600 it would be expensive considering that it was a small and fast repair. Despite the high quality of their work and their customer service I won't use them again.

She got the technician to call me back in less than 10 min. The technician Jason came to my house within 30 min from when I spoke with him. The night before I spent an hour trying to unclog the bathtub with a plunger 🪠 and the drain clog snake. The snake could not go very far down the drain something was blocking it. Jason told me there is a trick and you have to have the right tools as well. He was able to pull a huge amount of hair out and solved the issue in no tine. I am happy I called them. Jason did a great job. Thank you Jason!

After clearing the blockage he filled me in on some things about my sewer line and made a couple of sound recommendations without trying to upsell me. Had problems with our septic tank and they diagnosed the problem, and had to do some technical work to fix it, and clean it out, and now it is as good as new. But more importantly: they were responsive, courteous, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I felt like this was worth every penny, knowing that the septic is in good shape, and in good hands now, and in the future. A totally professional company. These guys worked very hard at a job that a lot of people don’t want to do, but they do it really well and they seem very eager to help people. What more can you say?!

He did not charge additional fee even though he had to spend additional time and effort digging to find the septic tank (and his charge was very fair in my opinion in the market). He was also very patient and spent time to explain the septic system to me and what I need to pay attention to. He was also responsive and nice to reply to follow-up questions that I have via email after the Title Five inspection was completed. Patrick can also perform home inspection, but I was not aware of that when he came for Title 5 inspection and I already scheduled with another company. He also has received high Google Reviews for his home inspection service, so any future home buyer could hit two birds with one stone. I would definitively schedule service appointments with him again in the future.

His diagnosis and repair was fairly quick as he had all the appropriate tools and general parts needed in his work van. He also gave me pointers on what inlet water valve to use to save on repair cost in the future. Great workmanship and friendly guy.

I called the company this morning for a replacement AC condensate pump that caused a leak. Owner said they were able to come out on the same day and not only that, but they arrived on time. Their work was thorough and the owner was able to explain to me some issues that I may encounter in the future with my AC unit. And before leaving, they made sure they cleaned up everything. I am so glad to have called I & C Mechanical for help, I am very pleased with the service. Thank you so much!

That said, they were incredibly above and beyond relative to my situation of being very pressed for time. They delivered on very short notice, and even called me to ask if they should come earlier when it was going to rain on my appt date. The inspector was a complete gentleman, letting me know about some thing which needed to be remediated, something which would otherwise show up on my report…who then came back for 2nd inspection after it was taken care of at no extra charge to me. And then when I made a reporting mistake after everything was done and mailed to the Board of Health already…, and Rosano Davis delivered again immediately, going out of their way to accommodate me. I will never do business with anyone else in this capacity. Thank you

frank younie rated it 1/5: Called on Thanksgiving day, the septic tank was full with the house backing up. The driver showed up an hour and half late, when asked why they were late rosano driver responded " do you want your tank pumped or not?". My mother said yes, (72 year old woman) the driver said wait here, then proceeded to drive away. My mother called me in tears, wondering if they'd be back. I texted the driver, they only respond in text he said i quote, and have text to prove "I can only receive texts can't answer phone call I did tell her to have her original guy pump since that's what she stayed in along with all the other stuff she decided to say I can't help somebody with such total disrespect especially on a day like today"
