Gregory Love rated it 5/5: Very thankful Dauenhauer is open on weekends. Water heater failed Friday night called Dauenhauer 7am Saturday morning made appointment. Ricky Tucker came out about 9am. Good guy. Assessed problem but I was ready to replace my old tired water heater. He took measurements explained newer 50 gallon heater is different size so he had to rework pipes some. He explained everything well. I agreed to estimate and he went to pick up new water heater and supplies needed. Installation was a big one and a lot of work since he had to replace supply pipes but he got it done by 3pm. Price was in fair. I called them because because I knew they was a good company advertising water heaters fast and doing it on a Saturday really help me out because my work schedule doesn't allow me to easily take time off. I will definitely call them again next time I need pluming work done.

The rest of the remodel was fine.

Lawrence (Customer Service/Scheduling) was extremely helpful, friendly, and empathetic to the issues I was having without a working hot water heater. He was able to get me scheduled for an immediate repair in just a few minutes on the phone!

When Allen (Repair Tech/Plumber) arrived he was also very friendly and polite. He immediately diagnosed the issue with the water heater after only a couple of minutes of troubleshooting. The repair required parts which needed to be ordered (due to the age of the water heater) and he would need to return to complete the repair. Despite this issue with parts, Allen was able to get the water heater working until the parts could arrive. A few days later, Allen returned and completed the repair in less than 30 minutes.

My overall experience with ASI was very positive and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a plumbing related repair.

Carlton possessed a wealth of knowledge during estimate phase. Dalton & Justin did the actual install and they were both efficient, polite and answered all of my questions. I have found it challenging to find plumbers in Louisville who meet and exceed my expectations. I will definitely hire ASI for future plumbing needs.

They do not repair the holes, no plumbing work was done. Still unsure of the leak and how it happened, but now need a repair person to fix the holes. The holes were done poorly by the tile which makes them harder to repair. Next day got a call from their services asking if I had an excellent experience.

When they got here, they asked some questions to make sure that we just needed the tank pumped. I appreciated that because if they thought it was something else, I would like to hear that. AND, instead of trying to upsell us into service we didn't need, they agreed that yep, those are classic symptoms of needing your tank pumped, so we'll go ahead and do that.

They pumped the tank quickly, told us the charge would be the exact amount quoted on the phone, and then headed out. Exactly zero muss or fuss.

This was basically the perfect home maintenance/repair services scenario. Maybe I have some luck after all? In any case, I'll for sure be calling OSTS in a few years when the tank needs pumping again.

I called his business number at 8PM on a Sunday because our septic tank was backing up and not only did he pick up, he talked me through how to diagnose (call #1), how to then fix it myself (call #2) and then made sure I was good to go on my third and final call to him. If I ever need help with my septic again, Greg is who I'll call and recommend to all of my neighbors. He could have easily not picked up my call, waited until Monday morning and then made his company some money. Instead, he earned a customer for life.

Ron Fox rated it 1/5: We called Druin because our realtor recommended them. We had no connections in the septic/sewer field, so went with them. They came out to pump and inspect our septic tank and did so professionally.
During the process, they installed a new septic alarm and could not get it to function. They told me the line underground must have been cut/damaged/etc so the signal from the septic float to the alarm was not functioning. They told me they could come back to hook up a new wire, and I told them even if not underground just hide in the deck and I'll bury it later.

A few days later the alarm started going off at 3am. No, no problem with the system, the alarm was just "working" somehow! Unplugged it and called them and they said they'd have to get their electrician back out. After more than a month, we called our realtors to let them know the treatment (ignoring us) we had received and they tried to step in.

We got one more call from Druin, and they came and installed a new wire. The never did any other work they were supposed to do.

I called them to let them know the same thing had happened: The alarm started going off for no reason, on the NEW wire.
No response.
They were supposed to come cap a PVC pipe in our septic mound.
Never came.

We will never use or recommend this company again.

The owner was very responsive to our calls and even communicated outside of typical business hours via text when we had additional questions. His recommendations for necessary repairs were consistent with the independent inspection results we received during the home buying process. The work is scheduled to be completed soon. Chip Sobel rated it 5/5: Kurt and his team expertly tackled a problem that grew as more and more of our aging septic system was excavated. The issues were a result of age and exacerbated by unsatisfactory alleged "repairs" by another company over the years. This can happen when one relies on a business engaged in "fixing" things that are below ground and thus sight unseen. Today we have a new tank, pipes, distribution box, and a completely renovated lateral field. I recommend this company to anyone who values quality workmanship.

Pricing is very reasonable compared to most places, and Kurt is very knowledgable in this area of expertise. He provided great advice and insight to me (someone who knew nothing about septics before) and was very patient. Worth every penny.

They were honest when the sellers weren’t. Even after some push back from the seller they stood behind their inspection. We are so happy they were referred to us. Thank you!
