Andre Gaddy rated it 1/5: I used this company last year when my basement flooded during the hurricane. They responded quickly and scheduled me for 10am a few days later. I took off work that day and contacted them around 2pm as nobody had come. Fast forward work started at 9pm. The work was satisfactory but shortly after I realized the nightmare of dealing with companies like this. My insurance company received the invoice and sent it to me to review before payment. Good thing they did as I was charged for stuff I don't even have. Also charged for after hours work because they showed up 12 hours late!!! I reached out to have the invoice corrected and was told it cannot be done, correct a company that does not have the ability to update an invoice. I inquired about the bogus charges ie disconnecting a washer and dryer when I didn't even have connections in the home, and was told I signed for the work.
This company is shady and I will never use them again. BEWARE!

He was also thorough and explained everything to me, and gave me a better idea of the layout of my pipes for any future maintenance that I may be able to do on my own. He also cleaned up after and was sure to keep his path through the house clean and dry. If I ever have any future issues (I hope not), I will be very happy to work with Carlos again.

Right away, the person who answered the phone was professional and courteous, and helped me make an appointment for a convenient time. When Sean arrived at my home, we discussed my concerns regarding the hot water heater, and came to the mutual conclusion that the best course of action was to replace it. I also asked Sean for estimates for replacing two water valves in my home. The entire experience was exceptional: not only was Sean courteous and professional, but he took the time to listen to my questions and concerns, and answered them with expert insight. That really put my mind at ease, and I found the estimate to be very fair. We scheduled the work to take place two days later.
On the day of the installation, I had the pleasure of meeting Tom. Like Sean, Tom was exceptionally courteous and professional, and answered all of my questions with the same care and insight. I am very impressed by the quality of the work they performed. From the bright copper pipe, to the neat and clean solder joints, it truly looks like a work of art.

As soon as we signed off, Kevin and his assistant Sean got right to work and in less than an hour had everything fixed and ready to go. They were clean, polite, and insanely efficient. They didn't try to add-on any additional services or sell us on anything, just fix the problem and let us know they'd be ready to help if we ever needed it again. I am truly blown away by the service we received. We've had some pretty terrible experiences with some other companies we've worked with in the past and going into this I wasn't sure what to expect. Now I can confidently say that Mr. Rooter has a new loyal customer. Obviously the lightning fast arrival and work time shouldn't be seen as the standard, but the fact that they were so efficient and kind really made all of the difference. Curt and Tyler were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and worked hard to restore our hot water.

While other companies quoted this as a multiple day job, Mr. Rooter's staff got the project done in about 6 hours, which was fantastic! The total team of four members helped throughout the process of removing and installing.

I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter for their plumbing services, even if you're unsure- allow them the opportunity to quote the job, and earn your business.. you will not be disappointed! We got the work done in April, but I waited a bit to make sure it worked as well as I'd hoped… tankless water heaters are worth the extra money.

When insurance reached out to talk them down, they ignored all of the calls for over a month, because they as scammers and not actual meaningful business people. The person we dealt with was named Dennis, and after ensuring me he would be my point man for everything we needed, he ghosted me and refused to ever speak to me again on the phone. Literally any other business is better than working with these clowns.

Ryan rated it 1/5: I asked Drains R Us to install a dishwasher and also a valve for a refrigerator. They said the cost is going to be $250 for installing a dishwasher and $150 for installing a valve. Two hours later, a plumber arrived and started working on the dishwasher. He installed dishwasher after about 90 minutes. However, there was a junction box under the former dishwasher to connect the power lines. The plumber told me that dishwasher cannot slide in completely and it would stay about 4 inches outside due to the junction box. I asked him to mount it on the wall but he refused. Ultimately, I asked him to let me pull the wires under the floor of the kitchen (in the basement) and asked him to connect the wires in the basement instead of on the kitchen (to let dishwasher slide in completely). I pulled down the wires myself and he came to the basement and connected the power lines in the junction box in the basement, instead of the kitchen. Later he charged me $75 for extra work, which is coming to the basement! He had to connect the same wires in the kitchen but when I pulled the wires to the basement and asked him to connect them in the basement but he charged me an extra $75!! I used to love franc environmental when it was a local company but it becomes a wind river environmental company and service goes in the toilet. I scheduled my septic system pump out which I do every three years. It was scheduled in July and I stayed home for the service. No one showed up and I never got a notification that no one could show up even though I was told multiple times I should have been notified. They rescheduled for a month later. Today. Again I stayed home. I called four times today and was assured they were coming and that they would text me 30 min before and when they were there. Again no texts. I called at 5 and was given the usual oh I’m sorry I’ll have to call dispatch they’ll call you we may need to reschedule. Dispatch never called. No one called to reschedule. Getting very tired of this company and haven’t decided if I’m going to cancel the work and go elsewhere.
Update 30 Aug 2022: I called the number the owner provided in response to my review. No one answered so I left a message. No one has called back.
Christopher Rossi rated it 1/5: I’ve used Franc – Wind River for several years and will not use again. They 2x Over charged for septic tank pumping. Called and set up septic pumping and they quoted me $290 -$40 discount since I’m an existing customer. The day after the pumping my CC which they have on file charged $651 by Franc -Wind River. They just added additional $117 Fuel / Energy Recovery Fee plus $280 additional tank pumping without any notice. I guess they just expect you pay without any question. Already disputed with my CC company.
Ross Notz rated it 1/5: Franc installed my roughly $32,000 septic system in 2018. I was not available during the installation and returned a few weeks after completion. Came home to find the Septic Alarm was installed outside the house onto a deck post, exposed to the elements. Shortly after installation, the alarm intermittently sounded on regular intervals, sometimes with septic pump running and sometimes with the pump off, but always after rain storms. Their technicians came out a few times while the system was under warranty but could not duplicate the issue. It kept occurring and I had repeated service calls. After the warranty expired, I was told it was a bad alarm box and that they could replace the box but I would have to pay for the labor from installation. The alarm went off again and I was told the alarm float switch was bad and needed replacement. Making repeated calls, I argued the system was less than 3 years old, the company should stand by their work and I shouldn't be charged for issues that persisted right after installation. They eventually obliged and wrote my initial review. Not long after, the alarm came back on again. I gave up on Franc, became far to familiar with septic operation through youtube and began trouble shooting myself. I found the water proof electrical junction box tying the float switches and pump to the alarm and power source to be completely flooded internally. I knew nothing about these systems an hour prior. How was I the one to find this? Who knows what additional costs I will incur rectifying the issue. This system cost me $32,000!! Pictures attached
Letz play Gaming rated it 1/5: We used Franc Environmental Inc's services recently. The sewage grinder pump in our house stopped working and we contacted the company to try to fix the issue. They charged us more than $500 for having the same-day pumping of the holding tank and told us that the repair was scheduled on the next day. However, we had to wait for one extra day for the staff to be available (Day 3). After the checking, the staff found out that the grinder pump was broken, and we would need to replace with a new one (this round of visit cost about $560). At that time, it was around 1 PM on Friday. We were told that they had to wait until Monday to order and get the new pump due to the weekend. On Monday, we contacted the customer services multiple times and did not even receive the pricing information. On Tuesday, they provided us with the pricing information about the new pump but told us that we may need to wait for another week to get the pump installed… We decided not to use their services anymore and were very lucky to find a local company that was able to get everything done for us on Wednesday (1 day from the initial contact).
The experience of using Franc Environmental Inc's services was very frustrating. We barely could use any water in our house for about 1 week and paid about $1200 for the two service visits (pumping plus checking). We contacted the company initially because we used their services without any issues back in 2019 (I guess it was still a locally owned company at that time). We will not recommend their services given the current status.

This company was the only company to have a live person answer the phone and didn’t hesitate to attempt to get someone out to us asap (after hours). TJ called back when he said he would and were at my house within an hour or two. Our issue turned out to be bigger than anticipated and the crew sent to us stayed longer than they planned on a Monday evening. Mike, Jim and Hayden were just amazing. They were professional, patient and explained everything that was going on to my husband and I as they worked. They found our problem and ended up saving us hundreds of dollars. TJ was responsive and thorough and helped us in every way he could. Great company and team from start to finish!

Bob Ervin rated it 5/5: I had a septic system problem today (blockage) and called my regular septic company to come out and look at the problem. Was told sorry, see you after the holidays…..too busy.
As a result, I started looking for someone else to help me, and thankfully I spoke with TJ of Delaware Valley Septic. TJ listened to all the symptoms and problems I was having and calmly and professionally figured out what may be the problem. Unbelievably, he had a crew out here in a few hours! The guys that he sent went right to work and had the system up and running pretty quickly. These guys were awesome, showing and explaining everything they were doing and how the system worked.
It's quite amazing really to see that quality of customer service from DVS, considering I couldn't get that from my own company I'd been using the past several years. Needless to say, I immediately became a regular DVS customer. The only regret is that I didn't find these guys years ago!

Cassie Nagle rated it 1/5: We had a few issues with the company. They came out on Thursday and put water into the septic tank. We saw the water truck in the driveway so we know they did it, and let us know they would be coming back that Saturday to test the tank. They called us on Friday to set up putting water into the tank and told us we were lying when we mentioned they had already put the in the water into the tank. They ended up putting twice as much water and failing our system.
They also asked us “do you even know what a water truck looks like?” Which is completely unprofessional. we live with a plumber of 35+ years and we have owned 2 pools that have needed to be filled. Of course we know what a water truck looks like.

Very unsatisfied and will not be using this company ever again. Would not recommend.
